Yesterday there was supposed to be a level cap increase to borderlands but yet so far nothings come up. I've checked almost everywhere and its confiremd that the increase will be to level 69 but the date for the free update is not yet confirmed. From what I heard was the update was supposed to be on Oct. 12th along with the release of its Game of The Year Edition. So if anyone knows a date that when its really supposed to come on please post to let myself and everyone else know. Thanks.

My understanding is that the patch is in the final stages of quality assessment. I don't think it was ever confirmed that it was going to be released at the same time as the GOTY edition of Borderlands but it should be coming out any day now. I'd say just be patient for a day or two.
Also I don't think that the cap will increase to 69. The cap will only increase by 8 levels meaning if you didn't purchase "The Secret Armory of General Knoxx" DLC the level cap will top off at 58 however if you DID purchase that DLC, which already increased the level cap to 61, the new level cap will top off at 69.

Alright yeah, from what I heard and saw was to be released with GOTY but idk now cause I also looked up international releases as well and maybe that can also be another reason to why its still not out but yeah I got the patients its just the other people I know that keep bugging me when is it comming out? is it out yet? dude u should know man come on... Just hate it when I have people do that...
