Zak followed Star close behind, keeping at her heels so he wouldn't get lost. After all he had gotten lost quite a few times now. Glancing at his back he wondered how the rest of her pack would receive him, his mind slipping to the memories his parents had given him when they abandoned him earlier on. "Far?" he questioned the female, wondering how much farther it was. His paws hurt, he had walked quite a bit today.

Almost in an instant response he hid himself behind Star's leg, mainly hiding his back from view. He remained silence watching the older Krokota with his red eyes. Sniffing at him a bit to feel him out, wondering it was okay to interact with him or not. Zak gave a small growl at Onyx still unsure about it all.

After a bit of Star's coaxing he had stepped out from behind her, showing himself to the other. He was still wary towards the other, still unsure. Still all he knew that with every word which was spoken to him he understood few. The pup remained silent, his ears twitching a bit. Holding back a small yawn the pup finally muttered up towards Star. "Tired."

He didn't know what to think when he was picked up by the scruff of the neck. Usually he would have protested saying that he could walk himself, though he was quite tired and decided against it. After snuggling up close towards Star it was within moments he had fallen asleep. Even though he felt safe old habits wouldn't die. After sleeping for about 2 hours he woke, he never slept to long for when he was on his own he always had to worry about other things finding him while he slept. One could say that it has made him a bit paranoid about the dangers which lurked everywhere. Rising to his feet he stretched himself, letting his eyes wander about the inside of the den.

If he needed water he'd go find the source himself. He still wanted to be independent even if there were others there to help him out. He had survived this far being independent and he wasn't going to change that now. "Find water," he murmured wanting to find the water source himself. He let his blood red eyes rest upon the other members in the den before he headed to the front of it.

Zak gave a small low growl when he was nuzzled, that was one thing he wasn't used to. Being touched by another, he did still have a bit of trust issues which over time he would over come. "Find water," he repeated softly after he backed up a few steps from the other Krokota.

He gave a small snort when the adult pointed him in the way of the lake. Zakiax had wanted to find it himself. When Amber Asked him his name he remained silent. The pup still had a bit of trust issues, he hadn't even told Star his name yet. Still in silence he moved in the direction in which the adult had pointed him in. If the other male wanted to follow him he could, it wasn't like he was going to stop him. He doubted he would be able to after all the other was bigger then him.

(I say something happens to them while they are out XD Might actually make Zak Trust the rest of the pack more)

If he knew what the word 'cute' meant he might have made much more of a fuss, but he didn't so he remained in silence. Giving a small glance back towards Onyx he thought a bit on it. How was he suppose to tell him that he couldn't say much. All he could do was make short incomplete sentences. "Too?" he finally questioned softly wondering if he was considered family as well. He never had a family so he didn't know what it was like to have one.
