♥~♥~♥~♥ Valentine's Day ♥~♥~♥~♥ Location: Public Garden
Time: 3pm - 11pm Did you get lucky with the fireworks? No? Well, Valentine's Day is for you! Boys, it's time to show the ladies how much you love them with the help of chocolate! Chocolate Cookies, Chocolate Cake, even just basic chocolate! Give them to the girls that makes your days so much better!
No one special in your life..? Well! Don't you fret, why not go to to the booth at the beginning of the garden and let our very own matchmaker fix a girl up for you! Blind dates start at 8pm, so hurry there before then~! Rules:
1. Any amount of characters can apply for the blind date option.
2. There ARE NPC booths selling chocolate and things of that like should someone forget the date~!
3. Signing up should happen the day before the festival opens up for the blind dating service~ Either PM Serendipitous Coma or tell me in OOC.
4. You will recieve a PM of either a note your character recieved or a bouquet for them to come with, this will tell them who they were set up with!

Gaston was in a small depression at home or, rather, he was busy pouting. Apparently, he wasn't needed to fill in for the homosexual women blind date option, something he had been looking oh so forward to. But, at least he had sent a note to Lulu to tell her to see him at his home for a private dinner of love~! Whether the blond would have shown or not.. well, it's unknown, but, either way, entrusting the letter to a certain maid wasn't the brightest of ideas. The woman never delivered the message as she was too busy swooning in the arms of a particular bouncer. Ah, NPC lovers.
Anyway, with the mayor at home waiting for a date that would never arrive, that left the festival to be opened up by Zhi herself! The teenager was sitting behind a table at the entrance of the garden, looking exhausted in every sense of the word. She had been the one to propose the blind date thing, so of course it was her job to send out all those flowers and notes, but, jeez..! Were there that many lonely, depressing, recluses in Nirvani?! At least she got paid for it.. The 'girl' didn't look up for talking, too busy napping beside her uncle. Mao detested events like this, but his.. niece was too tired to finish her job, so he stuck around to help her out some. But, even though he didn't have an excuse like Zhi, he was just as bored as anyone.
Romane stood beside the table, keeping a watch in her uniform just like always. Well, except for the Beach Day, but, what could she say, she didn't need a sunburn to make her mood any more sour. Events like this could easily lead to murder and, obviously, date rape! So, she had to keep a close eye on the whole of the garden just in case something like that happened! Especially with her own.. er, run-in.. She frowned and crossed her arms, moving a few steps away from the table to distance herself from Mao.

It was during time like this that Gladice wished the island was run by a normal mayor and she wouldn't have had to take the tittle of Town Representative in order to make sure that everything wasn't going to hell. Not that she hated it that much but, because of her tittle as a 'Government Official' she was obligated to fill in during that blind date even! Not that she minded, this would be fun but... poor poor foolish soul that would end up pinking her. She hoped that at least, whoever it was liked knitting, baking and watching soap opera! This way they could both talk about how Jenifer was making such a big mistake by trusting Brook! It was so obvious that the blond just wanted the brunette's money! At least that way it wouldn't be a total disappointment and wasted day for them. She was waiting at one of the various table holding a bouquet of Yellow Jasmine.
Yoakim wasn't much more sure about what he was doing there either. All he knew was that after very long and very weird talk with Gladice, he had been signed up into filling for the blind dates and after an even longer and weirder talk with Kade, he 'just totally had like o-m-g with whip cream on top' to be with the men-men dates! That was... Even if he was dating a boy didn't mean he didn't prefer a girl! What was he suppose to say to his date? Sorry I'm already taken and I prefer vaygaygay anyway? That would be just rude... The least he could do, he supposed, was to at least give a good talk to whoever he was paired with. Even if it wasn't anything romantic, everyone liked meeting new people and making friends, right? Well, everyone but Yoakim. So much socialization lately. This was all getting tired. He should take some time off and work overtime in order to relax! Whatever would happen, the only thing he knew was that he was suppose to look for a man holding some Peppermint flowers. At least he knew what peppermint looked like... they did look exactly the same as mints, right? Unless....were they those white-ish flowers? He didn't knew for sure... he should have looked it up on the Internet or something... Not that they had a computer in their house. Gladice hated technology and he... well, he was himself.
As for Neil, he was just happy to have been asked to fill in! Unlike the other two, this was just perfect! Meeting new people meant knowing more secrets! And knowing more secrets meant being closer than ever on the Truth! But not any old boring truth. Nooo, the ULTIMATE TRUTHFULLY TRUTHFUL TRUTH! Nothing else! Oh, he wished so much that his 'date' would be a dirty government official! Maybe one of those Mafioso family member! There were girls in there....right? Whatever. Girls, guys, panda, he was ready to have sex with anything as long as it would give him a scoop! This island hadn't disappointed him yet. He had made the right decision to move here! So many... interesting people. But whatever, before getting himself exited, he should first found his date... It was suppose to be a girl with a bouquet of Golddenrod flowers,
Leila was one of the first 'real' participent to get there. Well, she wasn't really looking for love or any bullshit like that. No, she was there hoping to find her target. He had still evade her up till now, even though she had confirmation that he was on the island. But he was such a little sneeky b*****d! So hard to know just where he was... or if he was still on the island. She had hoped that getting into a social even like this would help her find him. Or at least find someone rich enough to be worth her time. She sat herself on a table, not much far from Gladice. She had in her hands a bouquet of Gladiolus Flowers. So Pretty! Almost as pretty as an orchid! In fact, they were so pretty that instead of her regular orchid broch holing her hair in that fashionable ponytail, she had put on of the flowers there instead. It wasn't doing much to hold her hair up, so for once they were loose on her shoulder. Eh, as long as she was still sexy, she didn't care and it was night, which meant not as hot as during the day so it wasn't as uncomfortable as usual.

   Normally the two Koyama women would avoid these kind of things; Nanami because she wasn't interested in Valentine's Day, and Haruka because it just made it easier for the boys from school to hassle her. If she stayed home, then they would go out of their way, and she didn't have to worry about it. But the blind date thing interested Nanami ('I need more friends') and she dragged Haruka along in case she needed to escape... The teenage daughter thing was always a sure-fire mood killer on first dates, especially blind dates. Haruka frowned as she was pulled along, while Nanami held her plum blossom branch in front of her, as if it was leading the way. Mei wasn't entirely sure why she had signed up for the blind date thing. Maybe she had misunderstood and thought it was mandatory, or maybe she was getting tired of spending all of her time with Lesley and could use another friend. It bothered her slightly that she was supposed to find a girl with irises. She was usually the passive person when it came to this sort of thing, and so she felt uncomfortable and a little out of place. River cheerfully lead the ENTIRE Park family to the square. Yes, even Daniel, who looked nervous being outside. So nervous, in fact, that Elliot had to push him from behind in order to get his legs to move. "What are we doing here?" Alex asked River irritably. The girl didn't say anything; instead, she reached into her bag and handed her brothers their notes for the blind date. "What the hell is this? River--" Alex looked at the note before giving her a 'this had better not be what I think it is' look. River couldn't keep a calm face anymore and broke into a grin. "...We signed you up for the blind date thing!" she said cheerfully before giving Elliot a high five (awkwardly, of course, as she was overflowing with energy and Elliot was her usual apathetic self). Before they could hurt her, she darted off with her own bouquet of blue violets. Elliot stood on her toes to pat Daniel on the head in an attempt to comfort him before showing that she was participating by holding up her yellow narcissus's and walking away, too. Alex looked down at his paper. He had to find a girl holding a bouquet of asters. What the ******** were those? Daniel's was easier to understand. Red rosebuds? He knew what those were, but... He couldn't help but turn pale at the thought of talking to a girl face-to-face.

Glad-ee-lus? Oh! that was her. She waved a hand at the...man? Woman? It had to be a man... She was pretty sure she had signed up for the Woman seeking man... Not that she would mind it being a woman, she would even prefer to date a woman than a filthy man but... she was looking for a man and from what she had learned about him, he wasn't the kind to be crossdressing. She waved a bit more, still pondering if the... thing, in front of her was male of female. At least it was a pretty 'it". S/He had pink hair! Just like her! Was it fate? Two pinkhaired person bound to meet and reproduce, giving the world more pinkhaired childs? No, never. First, she wasn't getting pregger from a male. That was just imoral. Secondly, that wold totally ruin her good looks. If she had to have a child, she would adopt! And the child would be in it's teen. That way she wouldn't have to deal with smelly diapers... but then again, teens were smelly anyway.... "Hey Pinky, over here. I got the Gladiolus."

Andy was just standing around awkwardly, buying herself some chocolates while she waited for Ethan to show up to their date. she bought a few extra boxes, mostly for Cici... she felt so incredibly guilty for not taking Cici here. After all, they were dating! Ack. Cheating was so complicated...

Ginger walked around, looking for someone with a weird flower. Narcissist flowers? How do those even look? Like some reddish color? How the hell should she know! Sure she ran a flower shop, but she had no clue what flowers were what, that's why she needed an assistant badly! Especially without Paprika. Oh well, at least business was amazing this time of year. She made more today supplying flowers than she did all last month! Now to look for some teal flowers... that's the color of narcissus flowers right...?

O'Malley and Lorenzo were both there to find their dates. they both requested males and have yet to find someone that held the flowers they were seeking. So the two stood in front of an odd girl playing an instrument while they waited for someone else to show up. The girl was Mystery Girl X! The mysterious super fantastic awesome cooking overall best girlfriend someone could ever have~ She had an iris bouquet next to her, as the girl was sitting on the floor. The young girl was wearing a pink kimono, instead of her usual black one. She was playing an ocarina, and wasn't half bad at it. The young girl was playing the Song of Storms while waiting for her mysterious date to show up~

An odd man new to the scene of Nirvani approached Nora's magical booth. He wore an odd get up, a suit, top hat, and well... he looked like a magician. "Why hello magician, you perform magic, si si? I like magic show me some magic." He then waited two seconds, in that time he crossed his arms. "No no! Not fast enough magic, now I can perform magic, look look!" He said, as he threw his arms up in the air, as doves flew out of his sleeves! "Ha ha! See? Magic. Muy bueno, no no?" He grinned then took her hand without even giving her a chance to protest. "Come! More magic for us to perform!"

Lesley was currently sitting alone, back against a booth, with about twelve boxes of chocolate all for her! She had no date, and didn't want to get a blind date since it might mean getting set up with someone who might molest her. So instead she planned to indulge on chocolate until she got so fat that she had an excuse to not have a date, which be that she's too fat to get one! Oh god, how depressing... She thought as she opened a box and started to gobble chocolate. At least the sick feeling from eating too much chocolate will make her want to vomit on these happy couples!

Mandy twisted her flowers nervously, hoping he would show up soon. She didn't wanna keep Zach standing here....And she really really didnt want to get stood up! "Thank you Zachy. I hope they are cuuuute!" She looked up at him and tilted her head. He looked pretty good. she reached up with her good hand, well slightly good hand it was cut up and burned from Andy, and pushed a hair that was out of place to the side. "There, now you look amazing. The girl will be thrilled! If shes hot, tap it" she said smirking.

Mei looked around for her date before realizing, she couldn't really remember what an iris was. She quickly reached into her pocket and pulled out her electronic dictionary, the one that all Chinese, Korean, and Japanese students of English seemed to have. Quickly, she looked up the word and found it. 鸢尾花, right? Oh, that was right. She felt silly for forgetting, and immediately spotted a girl next to a bouquet of the blue flowers. She was playing music! She wandered over and listened with a small smile, waiting for the girl to finish before asking her if those were her flowers. A bouquet of red rosebuds caught Daniel's attention, but he was surprised to find they were held by a girl in a wheelchair! With another boy! He shied immediately, staring down at the piece of paper. What was his flower again? Roses. He looked back up again. The girl holding the roses was in a wheelchair! And was next to another boy! Wait, that sounded familiar... He shook it off and then paused. Wait, why was he hesitating again? Why was he even here? He looked down at the paper again. It told him to find a girl holding red roses! Hey, there she was! Finally, he was able to walk over, but he couldn't, for the life of him, remember why he was supposed to find a girl with red roses. "Uhm, hi? This paper said I should find you?" he greeted her with a vague smile, holding up the note.

He then walked past Daniel and patted the dude on the back. "Treat her nice man, or I'll gut you like I gutted that thunder drake on one of my many adventures as a fictional character in another universe." He said before sighing in fond memories. He then approached the Rivers girl. Being less than smooth, he just moved his head up in a hello. "Sup, we have a date, or something like that. I will be your delicious mandu for the night... or burekas, depends on what you're into. Well either way enjoy."

Mystery Girl X stopped playing and smiled, the two men clapped, but noticed Mei. They then looked around and wondered off to find their own dates. They just assumed Mei was her date by the way the chinese girl stood. Mystery Girl X put her ocarina away and stood up, with her whiteboard on hand. She then wrote a Hello in hanzi. She wasn't very good at it, but at least she was trying. Of course she knew Mei, she worked at the clinic- Wait a minute... oh crap.

He then took the sheet and put it on the table. Quickly he removed it again, and the table was gone! "Your turn. Magic yes?" He said happily. Well the man did know his magic tricks! He had to keep himself entertained somehow.

How did he make the table vanish!? She looked at him nervously. Her magic didn't compare to his at all....She didn't even want to show him...but she should at least try! "....O..okay...!" she took her hat off and pulled her bunny out of her hat, "Ta....ta da!" That was good...right? It was...lame compared to him.
