Do you think it should follow the actual storyline of the original video game series?

Well, it could follow the original storyline- and the movie but the movie was pretty much crap..
Umm well since Rose went missing, her husband *sean bean* could go looking for her, and basically play the role of James Sunderland, but they would probably throw in the stupid cult in that one too.... Or they would mix up Sh1&Sh2
I could see it getting all messed up this way.
Rose's husband would go looking for her, but run into a girl who basically was his daughter and she turns into the god, who then rebirths herself, and her name instead of Sharon is Cheryl who will later call her self Heather.-then Sh3 has a foundation.

I think it should be like this:
Chris(Sean Bean) lives his life a year after Sharron and Rose dissapear. One day he receives a letter from Rose(Like in SH2 with Maria) and she tells him that Sharron and her are waiting for him to come to Silent Hill. Confused, Chris goes to Silent Hill. When he arrives to the town, it looks just like it when he saw it.(Not all foggy or anything.) After driving around for awhile Chris stops at the Silent Hill restroom and goes in and looks in the mirror and think to himself that this is crazy that his wife and child are dead. When he gets out the town is all foggy and ash is falling from the sky. He turns around and Alessa aka Sharron is standing at a distance smiling...Just to jump toward the end. Chris finds out Rose is dead and he saves Sharron whom is still alive! He takes her in and then SH3 starts.
LOL. I need to think about something more important in my time!

Who should play Heather? To be honest I could nail Heather easy (hair flip, lol, no really. If I had freckles and did my hair different we would be identical) but the closest I could think of would be Allison Lohman, but I dont think the personas or voices would match all to well.

I think The Movies are all Right but Pyramid head was Only James Monster. I hate that they put Pyramid Head In it. Like I hate that they put Him in Homecoming He Had No real Reason for Being in Homecoming. Also I think the Next movie should Be its own Storyline. With completely new characters and a Fresh story.

From my understanding, there is supposedly already a movie in the works that will follow the SH3 storyline... i know, i know... it won't be exact 'cuz Sharon died and it will more than likely have nothing whatsoever to do with the first movie but I have to admit that my curiosity is still piqued. Anyway, being a fan of video games, I usually watch the movies they make based on them (i.e. DOOM, Alone in the Dark, Resident Evil etc.) what bothers me is that people will up and say "IT SUX!" without giving thought that if the movies were made EXACTLY following the games, then we would pretty much know everything that is already supposed to happen. So for SH movie 2 I would have to say looking forward to it. (that is if it's not complete and utter BS that it's in the works at all).
Who should play Heather? hard to say... Allison Mack?
