This one I was closer to.
Someone I knew committed suicide over the weekend. Being band members, we see all band members as family. I didn't know her all too well, but I knew her nonetheless. I spoke during band to give my remembrances and almost broke into tears.
I only felt worse when I heard the news in lunch and before lunch, I sit right behind her. Today was just terrible for me...

Losing somebody always sucks. Doesn't matter if you know them really well or just saw them in passing a few times. Knowing that somebody has died always feels bad. I feel for you man.

That sucks. =/ I knew 2 guys since like grade 6 who died. One was in a head on collision with like a Moving Truck... the other guy died when he was on a quad I beleive and it flipped and crushed him. =[

I've had a few friends pass, too. I know the feeling. I'm so sorry, and I know that's probably all you're hearing.
Reg, weird. I too had a friend pass via quad accident. I'd known him since I was born, and my other friend since like... Kindergarten.

I knew both since grade 6 but like we weren't really friends but like we were still nice to eachother.

I read your moms post on Facebook and was like, s**t. I know everyone in the bands at my school, i'd be pretty torn up if anything happened too. She was what, a junior? Any reasons or anything like that? Bullying?
I dunno, it's weird. But I'm here for you if that's anything, and I'm sure the rest of us are as well.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure of the reasons, and she was a junior. My friend told me about it during lunch, and he was a family friend, so it was bad.

Teenage suicides are so sad. They haven't even given the world a fair chance.
At the same time, sometimes it's relieving to wake up from a nightmare you didn't think would ever end. The pain she experienced in this life will help her to appreciate the beauty in the next.
