This is where the Mayor's House is located. It is also where citizens gather to listen to speeches or announcements, vote, and gather around. Snowball fights are also common here.
This is the final stand for the Snowtown Militia if invaders ever make it pass the Walls and the Snow Forts.
 At night, this is also the most romantic place in Snowtown. There is a magical fountain at the center of the square that never runs out of water. Street lanterns surround the fountain and brighten the entire area. There is a main lamp at the top of the fountain and a ring of lower-level lamps, and then there are also lanterns floating in the water. Unlike what one might expect, the water is warm, unlike the snow that surrounds the fountain.

Nao stood at the edge of the fountain, stringing up the Halloween decorations. She hopped down from the fountain, her red dress, lifting for a moment. Nao smiled as she admired her work. The first leaves of autumn blew across the town square. She sat down at the edge of the fountain again and looked into the rippling water of the fountain. Nao reached into her pocked and pulled out a gold coin. She gently tossed it into the water, watching her reflection ripple. An icy wind ripped through the town, making her shiver. Her tongue felt dry, from lack of words. "Why did they have to die? And leave me alone?" Her voice rasped. A tear slid down Nao's cheek. Her breath made gray clouds as she continued staring into the fountain.

Chrono walked down the avenue with his new cloak on. He was slightly invisible since it was enchanted by a blue, that he had stolen it from. He saw the girl next to the fountain and decided to say Hi. " hello " he said walking up to her. " Kinda chilly out isn't it" he said politely.

Leaves from the few non-evergreen trees in town fell onto the perpetual snow. It was lucky that today wasn't one of those weekly snowstorm days. The fountain was halfway lit, and the guy who was in charge was probably too busy to lit it all.
Captain Rujin Snegjya walked up behind Chrono and Nao, hearing Chrono's familiar voice and recognizing Nao. He noticed a slight ripply in the air... he was invisible, as he thought. "A bit late for you to be outside, don't you agree? Everybody else are celebrating, even though it's a day late."
He took a match and carefully lit the rest of the lanterns and streetlamps, making the Snowtown Square look absolutely fabulous. Light shined on the snow beneath the dark sky, next to houses in which merry voices could be heard from.
Rujin felt the warm water cool his cold hands and splashed some water on his face, enjoying the warmth of it. He looked back up to the half-invisible Chrono and a crying Nao. "Want to go for some dinner, you two? My treat."

Nao jumped a bit when a man came up behind her. She gave a friendly nod to the man and resumed working. Nao wondered if the man thought she was being rude, but she simply did not talk since her parents death. Giving a second thought to how she acted she turned back around towards the man. "I'm sorry, hello." She said. Nao wrapped her red coat around herself tightly as the wold wind blew harder. Nao wiped her tears and glanced over at a familiar face. "No thank you." She told him. She didn't have any plans, but she was not much of a conversation starter.

Kaida ran around the square, admiring all the pretty decorations. She liked holidays a lot, it was a time where she could eat until her belly was bursting! Every time she would get to a side of the square she would stop a minute to play with the items on the floor, then she would zoom to the other side. One of the old ladies who cooked a lot of the food even gave her an old witch hat, that she happily placed on her head before running to watch more decorations get put up.

Chrono turned and saw the captain from the wall. " Oh captain, how nice to see you again. Actually dinner would be nice, since I didn't exactly plan where i'd stay or eat. I guess i'll just go back to the base afterwards." he said happily. He pulled off the cloak folded it up and put it in the backpack that was hidden by it. He pulled out his plain military issue red coat, and wore that. As soon as he took off the cloak he became visible again.

Rujin Snegya nodded, smiling. "Well, there are some great taverns and inns here. Feel free to stay until you feel the season spirit is engraved in your flesh." He turned to Nao and bowed like a gentleman. "Once again, I offer a free dinner for a fine lady like you."

Chrono walked over to the fountain and watched the lanterns. He started thinking about the halloweens he had shared with his family. He sighed and looked around trying to see if he could see any of the taverns or inns the captain spoke of earlier. He reached into his pocket and opened his wallet. " good i have enough to rent a room for a couple of days and for food while I'm here" he said. out-loud. He looked back at the captain speaking to the girl he tried to talk to earlier. He was sure he shouldn't intrude on his attempt at a conversation.

Nao nodded, even though she didn't talk much, she was dying for a conversation. Her stomach growled with hunger. She hadn't had a decent meal in ages. She sighed before she spoke a full sentence for the first time in years. "I guess I can accompany you for dinner Rujin. " Nao surprised herself by even knowing the man's name. She picked up the last of the decorations and strung them to the fountain.

Kaida ran over to the first person she recognised, which was Nao, she helped out a lot at the orphanage where Kaida lived. "Nao!" she called "come and play with me!" she said happily

Nao smile and walked over to Kadia. "Hello Kadia." She said. "I can't talk now. I'm going to dinner." She said nicely. Nao expected her to say a childish remark like a date, but Kadia could surprise you.

"oh... can you bring me back some food?" she asked politely, she never got fancy food at the orphanage. Kaida looked around for anyone else she could play with, but stayed by Nao, waiting for an answer.

Hearing this from a distance Rujin walked over and asked, "Would you like to join us for dinner, ma'am?" He couldn't bear not helping such people. He was the militia captain, after all. He was supposed to protect these people, yet there were so many orphans.

Nao smiled wildly for Kadia's sake. "It would be wonderful for you to join us Kadia!" She turned to Rujin. "Thank you." She told him. Nao knew how it was in the orphanage because she was one herself. But since she was old enough, she could wander the town freely.
