It had been six mounths two weeks and four days, since the pharoh had left for the a.fter life. Life around Damino city had returned to normal. Well, almost, Yugi Mouto was slowly getting over his loss annd was being supported by his friends. Tea and Joey had gotten together and so had Tristan and Serenity. The only one who totaly back to normal was Ryou, and he hated it.

He was alone again. He slowly dropped back in to the background of life. Everyone seemed to be forgetting he existed once more.

That's why he was doing this. Ryou had always been interested in the Ocult, spirits beyond and stuff, but not until he had been involed with the millenium items had he know for sure that there were spirits on the living world. Those were the reasons why he was doing this, alone.

Most of the instuctions that he had seen on the internet said that a seance needed three or more people, but he had no one. He was going to use his room, it had the least amount of distractions in his whole house. He had set up a small table in there and placed three candels, to draw any spirit to there light and warmth and a bowl chicken soup that he had made that afternoon, to atract any spirit that might think it still needed nureshment.

Every thing was set up. Lighting the candles, he turned off the lights and sat down next to the table. He took a deep breath and then let it out slowly.

Now he had to called the spirit. That might be the hardest thing. He didn't know of any spirit that was on the earth. So he just tried something genarick. "I'm seeking a spirit. Please come to me, talk with me." His head lowwered a bit. "I don't want to be alone."

you sat there, not moving what so ever. He wasn't expecting a verbal response from any spirit, but part of him hoped that they could comunicate and talk a little more complexly than simple yes or no questions.

His sourses that showed him how to set up also stated that a spirit may not come on the first call. He had waited a minuete or so before he said his generic call agian. Hlaf way through it though he felt like some one was there. Looking around he confermed that no one had come in through his closed door, but he still felt that there was someone else in his room.

"Hello?...Is there someone there....?"

(NP. Things happen.)

"Why did you call?"

Ryou gasped a bit when he heard a voice, but could see no one. He was both excited and scared by it.

"I-...I called to see if anyone would come....To see if ... if..."

He worried that he had just anoyed a spirit who had been resting, but he wanted this more than anything.

"To see if anyone could still see me......"

He looked down to the floor. He only did this for himself, it was the first time in his life that he had done something that coulld be considered greedy.

"Ever since HE left I've fallen back to where I was before he came. A person in the backround, easaly looked over, quickly forgotten. I miss being seen by some one, so I turned the those who were also not seen. And you came...."

He looked up and he could swear that he could see the faintest thing floating above the table infront of him.

(That's alright. I can work with this.)

Ryou watched as the shape sank down to on the table. The candel light seemed to catch on it and he could now see the shape of a man sitting before him. He wasn't entierly clear to the teen, but he could see him none the less.

He gulped as the spirit asked for his name, but concented. He did call this man from where ever he had been, he could at least oblige him with his name.

"My name is Ryou.....Ryou Bkura."

He was still a little uneasy with the idea that a spirit actually came to him, but it was less than what it was because he could now see him better.

"What's yours?"

King of Thieves?! There was only person he had known that called himself that. The thief layed upon his stomach, he didn't look to thretening like that. Ryou clamed up a little at that statement none the less, but still respobded to Akefia's question.

"N-no. Your're not the first I've met, just the first I've called. I met two others before you, though the one I wouldn't really call a spirit. More like a demon from hell."

He shuttered at the memory of him and then forced himself to ask the other a question.

"You didn't happen to know Zork did you?"

His voice was very quiet as he asked. He knew Zork was gone for good, but the beast had used him, and had nearly killed every one, one way or another.

So Akeifa knew the demon, that would explain the shared title. Did he know that though?

"I asked because he used to call himself the king of thives. I did know him, sort of. He was the first spirit I had contact with. He was in the millenium ring and had a habit of taking control of my body. He's gone now though, he and Atem. Both went to where they belong."

Ryou looked into the face of the spirit, whom was becoming more visable to him. It was almost as if he was gaining a from of his own.

"What was your relation to him?"

A servant? He was used by that demon as well? Ryou drew closer to the theif, staring to find much needed comfort from him. "You weren't stuck in the millenium ring were you?" He felt a strange familiarity to the thief.
