He was just starting to get used to this up-all-night thing. It was really quite pleasant to sleep through the heat of the day to play in the silver of moonlight, why he hadn't thought of such a thing before the dog wasn't really sure. It was really quite an effective way of doing things after all. And it wasn't like his white fur stuck out much more at night than it did in the day. The dark splotches did help with camoflauge still...and he would always be a good hunter.
He wasn't perfect but he was certainly a valuable member of this pack. And with the influx of newcomers, he was starting to feel very much a part of the group. Now if only he could persuade that pretty Swiftthinker that he was... But she'd come around. Everyone always did after all!
Aandag's, no, Ardentheart's tail wagged as he loped along, he had plenty of time before he needed to be concerned about whether or not he found a decent kill for the pack. It wouldn't be hard for him to accomplish either. So for now, rather than stalking the usual prey, he'd decided to take that snarky tanner's words to heart and 'find someone else to bother'. Preferably someone who could appreciate him a bit more...

Kokuro, or now known as Tribalwind, made her way out of her newly found home in the Peke Na lands. It was an interesting place, much different then the rogue lands. It seemed most here were family orientated or pack orientated, where as rogue you were on your own mostly. Letting out a quiet yawn and blinking the sleep out of her eyes Kokuro looked up at the vastly darkening sky. It truely was beautiful here, the smells alone were so pleasant as well as the pleasing scenery.
Shaking herself, Kokuro decided to venture out one more time to scout her area for danger or anything out of the ordinary. Scouting was her job, as she had good sight and a good sense of smell. With one final nod to herself, Tribalwind was off picking up speed on every turn.

Aandag really had no particular destination in mind. Like his time as a rogue, he let his paws wander him off in whatever direction they chose, his body and mind simply along for the ride. Twilight fell softly, the pack stirring and mingling. It was pleasent here, it really was. Nice to be a part of a family again...
...hello there.
Ears pricked forward at the sound of pawsteps, and he turned to see the pretty reddish dog come into veiw. She seemed to be all alone, poor thing. Just like he was. Now, one might be the lonliest number, but two was company. It was easy to see which situation was prefferable.
"Hello there," he called, loping to catch up with her, though now that he'd greeted her she was surely going to stop right?

She had heard the sound of paws long before the voice that accompanied it. Out of the corner of her eye, Kokuro had spotted the unknown male. Cautiously coming to a stop, ears perked up and tail straight incase he wanted to fight or who knew what. ' Hm,' She thought. ' Interesting fur pattern and the colors were easy on the eyes as well.' Though it was dark out, she could see ever detail. She had that heightened senses ever since she was little.
Shaking her head, she realized that she had yet to greet him back now that he was near her. " Hello, traveler." She greeted warmly but cautiously. " A very lovely evening is it not? I was just making my nightly rounds. One has to protect ones home from danger."

Traveler?
Aandag blinked at the female when she said that. Him? Well, he had been for a long time, and it was only recently that he had considered truely staying here for...a long time at least. Did he really look as though he didn't belong though? A look of confusion flickered across his features as he glanced about. No, these were definitely still the Peke Na's lands. He hadn't accidentally wandered out off into someone else's territory then.
"A lovely evening it is," he agreed, but his usual 'not so lovely as you' had actually been forgotten, replaced by an altogether different comment. "But I'm not a traveler. I'm one of the hunters. It's still nice to meet you though," the wild dog added with a vibrant smile and a wag of his tail. Nice to meet anyone as pretty as this girlie. Those little spots about her neck looked like the gods themselves had dotted her with ornamentation. Hm, that was almost a good line, it needed a little something more to it though...

Tribalwind watched his faced turned to confusion. She felt her ears droop a little as she thought she had insulted him. " I apologize if I have offended you. I do not usually meet many others, I am hoping this will change once I am fully welcomed into Peke'Na. " She stopped her babbling to listen to the other male and felt her own tail waggle at his smiling face. " A hunter? How exciting yet dangerous! I bet you have seen and done many things. Oh, I didn't even introduce myself! I am called Tribalwind, for the markings on my skin and the swiftness of my paws. You are?"
She felt and saw him checking her out. So she decided to do the same. Multiple patched littered his body with the colors of coal, earth, and the clouds on a summers day.

"Offended? Me? Of course not sweetheart," Aandag hastened to reassure her. Getting a girl down was not his usual course of action. He would hate to disappoint her, or make her sad or anything that was not happy and adorable. Although she might still be adorable if she were blue, that didn't mean it would be nice to see her sad. And he thought the color she was quite lovely.
"Well, I wouldn't say I've done that much..." Faux modesty. How humble. "I am called Ardentheart now. It is a pleasure to meet you." Was she checking him out too? Fantastic. Maybe he could have an audience to show off for some...maybe. Except he didn't want to brag too much, honesty, he'd learned young, was usually the better idea.
Especially after the alligator incident. That had not gone well.
