Ugh. It was horrible today! The tank of a lion let out a grumble as he made his way through squishy mud and who knew what, the harsh downpour from above soaking his coat and large blue mane, leaving him a rather sorry sight. "God! This.. this suuuuuuucks!" Kumamon yelled out into the night air in his frustration, sick and tired of the constant rain and the very unstable and slick ground below his feet. It seemed like he had been out traveling for an age and a half now, temporarily leaving the lands of Kipindo'hayawani in search of new members to bring back with him when he eventually returned. His goal was to return with the toughest of the tough out in the wild roguelands, testing their skills out himself in a battle or two.
However, so far, his search had come up blank. He had barely seen any other creatures besides himself. Besides the occasional scrawny hyena or lion, whom looked like they would just flop over and die at the slightest swing of his paw, Kumamon had seen not one being worth his time. And this horribly foul weather was not helping any at all when it came to lifting his spirits. Gritting his teeth as a glob of watered down mud splashed up into his eye, Kuma' raised a front paw to rub at it, muttering a string of curse words along with his continuing grumble. Continuing to rub at his eye, he slowly moved onward on three feet, fully distracted by his new current task of getting the damned mud out of his eye.
By now it was probably lodged up into his brain! Who knew how much memory loss he was suffering from all that unknown stuff swirled around into the mud squishing noisily under his paws.
Oh, the weather was awful today! Her ears drooped in her disappointment, Bahari ya Sham was seated on her rump, staring out through the entrance of a deserted den she had taken for the day because of the change in weather. It had been so nice earlier that morning, sunshine and not a drop of rain in sight. But then everything had turned to.. to this. She eyed the pouring droplets from the dry shelter of the den with a small pout over his muzzle.
Shams had been looking forward to a good hunt today too. Oh well, you can't really change mother nature's mind once she gets going..
"God! This.. this suuuuuuucks!"
Ears immediately perking up at the outcry, the lioness stood up on her feet, staring out the entrance of the den. Why, you could barely see anything with all the rain! Straining her eyes as she moved herself closer to the dripping entryway, she tilted her head. What on earth had made that noise?
WHAM. "Ow! Man, what the f-" WAH-BAM.
Kumamon had not been looking at the direction he was heading, occupied with the simple task of getting the mud out of his poor eye. He had gave a glance up to look at the path in front of him, only to slam his entire body into something solid. And damn hard! Kuma' had scrambled backwards in panic and surprise, only to slip in the mud and have himself slammed into the front wall of the den Bahari ya Sham was in again, much more roughly this time. "Ugh.. I wanna go home." He mumbled through clenched teeth, the lion now sprawled out on the wet ground near the den's entrance. Ugh. His head was spinning, his face hurt, and.. and...
Kuma' allowed himself to halfheartedly blow a few bubbles into the watery slosh his body had landed in, tired of it all and pissed off at the weather conditions that day beyond belief now.
All he wanted to do was find some new members for the priiiiiide.
