Mmh, now.. where on earth was he? 'Hakumele, where are you?' The male leopard let out a relaxed sigh as he let himself drift into thought, having settled down long ago in one of the floral trees in this unknown jungle. The gardenia flowers here smelled just... just delightful. The few bees buzzing around the small cluster of blossoms near him simply flew off as he shifted himself on his branch, giving a nuzzle of his head into the scented white flowers. "What a beautiful day~" Hakumele sung out with a chuckle, letting his head rest on the flowers for a moment to get that lovely scent on his coat before pulling back and plopping his head down on the branch lazily.
"What a beautiful day~"
...What on earth was this? This male was singing to himself? Giving a sweeping gaze left to right in search of any others before deciding to continue, Natsumi made her way over to the tree the other leopard was perched in. She'd taken a break from training today, going off on her own into the jungle surrounding the ruins that were the colony's home, only to stumble upon this stranger early on in her walk. He didn't look like anyone she had met in the colony, so it was time to interrogate! "Hello." She said the greeting simply, leaping gracefully over a cluster of jungle shrubbery right after, moving closer. Who was he?
"Well, hello there, gorgeous." Hakumele rumbled out with a content look on his face, looking down at the leopardess from his sprawled out position a top a tree branch above. "Hello there, beautiful." He continued, smiling at the female before giving a quirk of his brow. She had such a pretty face! "Lonely today?" The leopard purred, proposing a question as he rested his head down on top of one paw, snatching a small flower between two toes of his other paw with a lazy sweep of his leg. Then, letting his other front leg slip off of his resting spot, he allowed it to swing casually in the air below him, flower loose between his toes before he tossed it at Natsumi, the flower landing with a soft rustle near her ear.
Beautiful? Gorgeous? Natsumi gave a slight scrunch of her nose at his compliments. She was not one of those females that simply stayed by her mates side, only good for her appearance and supplying cubs. She was a worker! Nat' did her job just as well as any other male warrior you could find in the colony, her mother had raised her that way from day one. '...I suppose thanks are in order, though.' She thought to herself with a flick of her tail, turning her eyes back up to look at the other leopard. "Well, thank you." Natsumi said, giving a curt tip of the head before the flower landed, ear giving a few agitated twitches.
Oh, so he was that kind of male. A charmer, a flirt, a weaver of sweet words... Someone out to get a pretty girl for the night. And any girl meant any species. That lead to hybrid cubs... What an unpure leopard.
"I suppose I am a bit... lonely at the moment." She rumbled out with a small smile across her lips, playing along with the male. Natsumi would do what she could to try and get this male to change his ways, swaying him to the ways of the colony. Leopards only. Lionesses and cheetahs and all those other felines couldn't be better than their own kind, now, could they?
"Oh, you're most certainly welcome." Hakumele replied with a toothed grin to the female, slow to rise as he sat upright on his branch. My, that flower looked so suiting tucked behind her ear. It seemed that he had an eye for things like that.
"You are?~" The male purred with interest, making his way down the bark covered base of the tree before landing on the ground near her with a "thump!". "Lonely, lonely... Hm. I could fix that." He stated, giving his usual white-toothed grin as he took a few steps towards her, trotting around her from the back in a semi-circle and looking at her from her side.
"I wouldn't mind one bit, keeping a lovely thing like you company for the day. The two of us could take a nice stroll through the jungle, sample some fine cuisine from this land of yours - Ah, if this is where you live! - and perhaps have a nice... nap later on.." Haku' purposely let his voice trail off, allowing her to think up some things before giving a sway of his own tail. He could do with some company himself. Without it?... Well, his visit to this particular part of the jungle would be a bit more dim in his eyes. Good company lead to a good time, right?
"What do you think, beautiful?"
Ah hah! Natsumi just knew he was going to ask her if he could tag along. With a nod of her head as a sort of answer to his proposed deal, she let out a small rumble herself. She'd go along with whatever he suggested they do that day, then lead him to some den and show him that leopards were far more... superior to those other species. At everything. Hmph. "That would be nice." Nat' said as she reached over and gave one of his front paws a light pat with one of her own, flashing a coy smile. "My name is Natsumi. Yours?"
Oh, excellent~ Now he had a companion for the day! "My name?" He smiled just a tad before giving a flick of his tail. "Oh, my name, of course. It's Hakumele." The leopard eyed the female before whipping that smile of his into a grin. "Hakumele, Hakumele, H-a-k-u-m-e-l-e~" He chirped out in a sort of sing-song tone, pulling his paw out from under hers slowly, returning her pat with a gentle pat of his own. "Feel free to call me Haku' though, sweetheart."
"Alright then, Haku'." Natsumi put a little more emphasis on the last part of his shortened name, smirking just a little before she stood and motioned for him to follow along with her. "Let's take that stroll.." Mid-step she stopped, growing quiet for just a moment before she turned to him. "And we'll see about that nap later on." That said, the leopardess continued to walk, inwardly grinning at herself.
