User ImageAMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM

Name: Harrow Jude
Nicknames: SpringTooth [online only]
Gender: Male
Age: 16-17

Faction/Race Reaper -- mage with a power object!

Personality: Harrow is a controlled and very private person, something that manifests itself in quite a few ways -- from his manner of dress [suits and ties and neat hair and perfectly clean fingernails] to his room [shoes organized by use, everything in its place, bed always made] to his classwork [he has a day planner, and he uses it]. Sometimes, perhaps, he's a bit too much so: It can be hard to get through to him, and there might be whispers of 'snob' among those he hasn't really taken the time to get to know, especially since his family is known to be...well. Rather wealthy.

He doesn't seem to have any sense of humor at all, leading people to believe he's something of a prude, but once he's relaxed, he actually can smile -- even if it stays awkward and doesn't quite sit right on his face.

In all honesty, though, when people meet him their initial thought isn't 'this is a mage to be reckoned with', it's 'whose secretary is this?' and the worst part is that Harrow is completely fine with that. He has so little ambition that being someone's secretary would be refreshing to him.

Fortunately, he does like classes, organization, and -- well, the work most people find boring. Figures. Sums. Reading. He will adore the less hands-on classes and be shocked by the difficulties he has in the messier ones.

Harrow also has a passion for news [and, to a degree, writing] that he indulges online without telling anyone, using the alias 'SpringTooth'. SpringTooth's personality is honestly not that much different, except for a tendency toward confrontation. Where Harrow would back down in person, when he's just text on a screen, he has the balls to speak up. Perhaps, with some time, he'll translate this to working on some kind of publication at Amityville...

Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Great pumpkin but Harrow would really rather be back home on his family estate and doing anything else, because he's not scary in the slightest and doesn't have much faith that he ever will be. But parents being parents, he doesn't have much say in the matter. He will learn and no threats need be attached, because that's just how it is.

He's already expecting to be bullied, and while he builds up amazing retorts and comments and come-backs on his own, when the time actually comes he will probably blush and turn tail. He doesn't know how he'll make friends with the kind of people who want to be at Amityville so desperately...

FEAR: Great-great-great Grandaddy's sword - as a mage, Harrow never showed any particular talent. He fumbled any attempts at spells, his fire fizzled, his water steamed, his wind spluttered and died. He didn't have the strength of will for mind control, and frequently found himself at the wrong end of those kinds of spells.

So his father stepped in, furious and fuming, and shoved great-great-great Grandaddy's sword into his hands, where it promptly disappeared and became a part of him.

Harrow now has no choice but to learn how to master the weapon, because he physically cannot get rid of it. It is like another organ -- one that he can summon from his skin into a variety of useful metal objects from dagger to sword to shield to handcuffs to [maybe someday] toaster oven. And should he lose possession of this organ, he will become very, very ill, bedridden until every drop of its metal is returned to him.

Unfortunately, for now, he's not very good with it. The things he creates have a tendency to melt and lose their shape, except for the sword that was its original form.

Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Deep, dark grey-brown.
Hair Colour/Style: Golden-blond with a slight curl, usually kept cropped close to his head and gelled into perfect place.
Skin Colour: Human-white with a slight hint of tan.
Clothing Style/Colours: Full suits: pants, vests, jackets, ties, properly shined shoes, likely in some dark color with a vibrant shirt [pinks, corals, oranges, greens, blues, anything] and a bold tie -- or, perhaps, a cravat. Whatever the colorist would like best. He comes from a very old, very wealthy mage family, and dresses accordingly.
Extra: GGGGD's sword should make an appearance in some way -- potentially as a metallic sheen over his eyes, as the actual sword at his side, or as a goopy mess of metal that he can't quite get into any kind of shape.

Also, Harrow should fairly short and fine-boned, leaving him looking skinny and kind of gawky, preferably with heavy-but-pale eyebrows and a sharp chin.

Audley yawned widely as she glanced over the next application from the pile on her desk. The pile seemed to be growing, rather than shrinking and it was all she could do to keep the Acceptance Box happy and fed.

"I don't know. This one sounds kind of boring. What do you think, Hugo?" she asked the small bat who was hanging from his perch on her desk. The small bat returned the yawn.

With a shrug, Audley balled up the application and tossed it onto the floor, leaving it to the two boxes to battle it out. Her money was on the Acceptance bin, as the Rejection bin was currently munching happily on the contents of her garbage can.

Another frisbee down, and Red was sick of it. She took the mini acceptance bin out of her office and dropped it elsewhere, fleeing before it could follow her back to her office. This, unfortunately, allowed the minibin to run wild and free about the campus.

Or, more specifically, let it free to break into other teacher's offices. The minibin pushed its way into Audley's office, peering before inching forward. There's a bin, there's ano- PAPER! The little bin pounced on the discarded application and snapped it up, emitting a content grinding noise.

This noise, however, quickly became a shriek of terror as the much larger acceptance bin pounced on it and chased it around Audley's office twice before headbutting it out and into the hallway, where the little bin proceeded to run and hide!
