Ah, that was asked when the guild was first being created...
Basically, by being outside of combat for a real world day, or during the rp, resting.

If resting in play, shouldn't there be a specified amount of posts necessary to replenish it?

That is quite difficult since no one keeps track of time. I'll find a way, however. Perhaps by judging the events that occur. How long they would each take will be my guide..

There's no actual application.
Village leaders will likely see you fit to become the rank or not, and then depending on how many missions you have completed, send you out to prove yourself again.

Firstly, I want to say what a great idea this topic is. A place for questions to be answers instead of them being asked in the OOC. Second, I like that it is Shinsua, himself answering.
My question is: How does a Genin become a Chuunin?

Aside the Chuunin Exams there's really no set way, as of yet.
Typically, a Kage will see a Genin fit to advance and will do so...
Then I'll scold that Kage and tell them to make sure the Genin has some missions done, then be sent on a final advancement mission. ' ';
