"The following match is your Survivor of Cage opening contest scheduled for one-fall! Introducing first from Denver, Colorado, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the The Heartbreaker, Mike Landry!"

And i'm sorry but it's not a mistake

Landry came strolling out from the back in his wrestling gear, white and red rights with broken hearts all up the legs. It was becomming more and more apparent to the audience why Landry chose this particular theme music for his entrance as the lyrics tended to ring truer and truer each time they heard them according to his growing deranged personality towards women.
For once, Landry didn't actually bring a microphone with him for his match, his focus was completely on that steel cage looming infront of him. For those following "The Heartbreaker's" career, they knew that a Steel Cage match for Landry meant someone was not walking out. Landry's fear of the cage would sometimes cause him to freeze up and act eratic, and others it would force him to become a brutal menace and devestate his opponents like a wild animal backed into a corner. Instead of talking again he simply waited for Mardy, or as he was apparently calling her now, "Les Navre," to accompany him to the ring. Each week he was growing more and more attached to Mardy, as she was clearly paying dividends for him.

Mardy takes long, languid strides over to Landry. She stands beside him and allows him to take the lead down the ramp.

Landry's music starts up again as he takes Mardy's arm hooked in his, walking down the ramp as he glares at the steel cage as if it were the opponent and not GBL. He leaves Mardy at ringside, kissing her on the forehead before turning around and slowly stepping up the steel steps that lead to the open door. Landry took one deep breath before placing his foot inside the cage, then his other, and then alltogether climbing into the ring. He was once again forced to face his greatest fear, but as history would tell you, the steel cage isn't the most dangerous part of the steel cage match when Mike Landry is involved.

The sounds of winds began to sound out across the arena with the lights dimming and the Moon appearing on the titantron. Petals would begin to fall along over the moon before the words 'Lotus Eclipse' spelled out within the falling petals. After a moment's wait . . .
I cannot tell you you're falling apart.
Open your eyes if you wanna survive.
I wanna tell you you're love is a lie
but I won't tell you, I won't tell you
Lacuna Coil's I Won't Tell You rang out with GBL once more as he came up onto the ramp with his feathered hat and a dark violet attire rather than his normal dark blue. The IC belt around his waist, GBL stood himself up straight and formed his cross taunt. A sadistic smirk on his face, he would begin his walk down to the ring. Mid-way, he would point to Landry before spinning around and thrusting out his elbow to possibly foreshadow events with his Roaring Elbow, The Moonlit Dance. Rather than walk to the door, he ended up running to the cage and leaping onto the cage wall, clinging onto it. He held on and just stared at Landry. This match had two settings. Either escape or K.O.
Hanging onto the cage, GBL got into his back pocket to once again pull out a microphone. Of course, the Eclipse would have words to say before a match.
"Soon to be locked away just like the animals we are. A possessive beast that claims to love with a mate blind of what really is that beast. Within the shadows, an unknown predator of the shadows crept forward and launched his attack. To fight a poison with a poison of his own. The poison of realization. The Eclipse that overshadows the beast will attempt to save the woman imprisoned by lies and deception. To be free, love is free!" he spoke out before sliding the microphone into his pocket and climbing up the cage. Getting himself at the top, he climbed down into the ring and turned around, pulling the microphone back out. "Sacred and pure turned rotten and corrupt. Only one suitable to interrupt. The end comes to this bad romance with a steps of the Moonlit Dance," he finished before tossing the mic and removing his hat. He was ready, no doubt. With his words, one could suggest he did not plan on escaping the cage.

Landry pretended to fall asleep during the poem of GBL, limp on the ropes and snoring loudly. When GBL finally tossed his mic out of the ring he 'woke up,' and whiped his eyes, snearing at GBL.
"Oh, you're done? Okay good, I thought I was going to lose via K.O. from boredom. Now...about that whole...breaking every bone in your body thing."
Landry rushed forward, trying to assault GBL with a barrage of fists.

Watching the rush, GBL took a defensive stance to take some of the blows. Finally catching a fist, he would counter back with an elbow towards the jaw of Landry. A little taste for what could be coming.

GBL emphasized his elbow so much Landry was able to scout it, so when he attempted his first Landry ducked and moved behind GBL, then attempted a back suplex.

The dodging of his elbow told him that he needed to step up his game. It wasn't often that he was predicted so easily. With Landry behind him, he could only expect bad things, and he was right with the back suplex. Feeling himself being lifted, GBL made sure to get a little leap in to give him momentum to backflip rather than get dropped on his head. Backing himself against the ropes, GBL taunted Landry by taking a knight-like bow.

Landry turned around and was taunted by the ever confident GBL. He rushed forward for a clothesline, trying to gain the all-important early advantage.

As to plan, Landry made a run. Waiting for him to get close enough, he would step to the side and try to trip up Landry with a drop toe hold and send him into the ropes and hopefully getting him to hit the cage.

Landry was tripped up and hung his neck up on the middle rope. However, when he realized how close to the cage he was he stood up straight and backed up into the ring with a wild eyed look.

GBL stood himself up on one knee as he watched Landry's reaction. Such a thing brought a chill up his spine and it showed with the smirk on GBL's face. GBL got up to his feet and moved forward for a quick lock-up to Landry.

Landry turned around into GBL, accepting the lockup and immediatly trying to force him into a corner.

Deciding it best not to fight back in this, GBL was pushed into the corner. He could only try to devise a plan to turn this match into his favor.
