has anyone else read this book? it is amazing and im only on chapter 5. I thought it would be hard to get into a transformers book, but with a life time of cartoons, comics and toys just makes it easy.

I've bought it but I haven't read it yet. Guess I should get started on that if the new series, Transformers: Prime, is supposed to be based off of it.

Its am easy read and anyone who isn't a fan might not be very interested in the book. Its very clearly directed at fans and those who are familiar with the world, character, and history of Transformers.

But! For those readers who are fans (and I can't imagine why else you would buy this book if you weren't) it is fantastic! As I said its a very simplistic writing style but it gets right to the point and draws the fan into the plot and characters as they develop and leaving the rest to the imagination of the readers, and even adding a little something to the cultural aspects and differences between different parts of Cybertron and its colonies.

You'll also see lots of references to both the comics, G1 series, TFA, the movies, and if I'm not mistaken the next coming series of Transformers: Prime.

It short, not the best book you'll ever read but if you're a fan you're gonna like it.
