Personality:
Julian is the baby, closet-nerd, and shut-in of his family. With four older brothers, he's always felt like he's had to live in someone else's shadow and has yet to decide whether he's okay with it or not. He was never picked on though, far from it in fact. He was the first in a few generations of his family to resemble a death-omen so closely as he does, so he was usually pampered and pushed towards being a great Harbinger.
But so far all he really wanted to do was sit in his room and read.
He really does want to live up to his family's expectations, so on the whole he'll be that over-achieving little jerk who breaks the curve on every test. Or at least tries to, anyways.
Due to his older brothers always looking out for him, he's not good with getting angry or defending himself. His first instinct is to hide behind someone bigger, so he'll likely latch onto one of the larger/more powerful students. When he gets angry, he usually smashes something, even if it's at a person. He won't physically attack anyone unless he doesn't have any other choice.
Julian is notorious for hoarding things he finds interesting, pretty, or valuable. His room is usually a mess and very tacky because of this, but he doesn't mind in the slightest. He has his own type of order and that works fine with him.
Girls. Yeah, Julian has no idea what to do with them. The only girl he's really known is his mother and she doesn't count. For the most part, he'll try and treat them like everyone else, but in certain situations he'll get extremely nervous and likely find some excuse to get out of there.
Why did they enroll at the academy?
Besides every non-physical class he can take, he'd really be interested in laid-back clubs, like book-clubs, music clubs, the garden club, stuff like that.
He wants to learn how to better understand his natural ability, to defend himself, and maybe to find a way to use his FEAR ability without hurting himself.
Fear:
Natural Ability: Good Omens
Julian has this keen sense of when things are about to go bad. Not for himself, mind, but for those around him. He doesn't know exactly what or when it's going to be, just knows when something bad is coming. He can tell who it is by when he gets the feeling and he has somewhat learned to tell a general idea of when it is coming (soonish or in some time).
FEAR Ability: Screech
Julian can let out a loud, high-pitched screech to either cause pain or at the very least distract his opponent. It is more powerful than just a loud screech sound he can make, but sometimes it simply doesn't come out as strong as it should, especially since he doesn't have much practice at it. He cannot talk well for a little while after-wards.
Emblem Idea: A barn owl's face symbol; so a white kind of a heart shape on a black base with two black spots/holes for eyes and a thin, black upside-down tear-drop spot/hole for a beak
Kinda like the shape here but the heart top not being as pronounced and the eyes being smaller

 Radar - The Quiet
Radar doesn't do much. He's lazy most of the time and acts as a silent companion for Julian. At the very least, he's a good listener.

And if it does somehow get kicked off how hard would he work to make it last?He'd probably be really awkward about it but try his hardest. Gifts are a definite, but he'd either get things that may or may not be something she really likes or go to one of his friends and beg for advice on the matter. He's the kinda guy who would trust his friends' advice when it comes to girls, no matter if it's good or bad. :: Has he ever gotten got for hoarding? How badly must he have things? Does he have such a compulsion that if he sees something he has to have it right then and there?He's gotten in trouble at home for having a really dirty/cluttered room before, but nothing worse than that. XD It's not really a compulsion and he won't go so far as to steal things, but if something crosses his path that he likes and doesn't seem to belong to someone, he'll take it. Like a rock he happens to find on the school grounds that has an interesting pattern, he'll take it and put it in a drawer in his room. For the most part, he's a packrat. He has a hard time throwing anything away in the case that he might need it in the future or it has any level of "sentimental value". :: Will his natural ability improve as he grows, or will he always be unable to be exact? As he currently is, can he give an approximate time? Does he know the person whom it will happen to?It'll grow over time, maybe to the point of full on "I know what's going to happen to you and when," but that will be a while into the future. It'll probably progress as getting a better idea of what generally is going to happen (Doom, trouble, pain, etc.) rather than just something bad, then a better idea of when, kinda like him getting used to the feelings and what they mean exactly. He cannot give an approximate time/day, but he can tell if it's soonish or in the far future. He knows who it will happen too, because he'll get the feeling when he's around that person. Getting the feeling in a crowd tells him nothing. XD :: QUESTION

No, not really. But I am here to give you crit! Enjoy!
We're getting a lot of "my family didn't like me" characters recently (Raizel, Tomo, Chuppi to name a few), so what makes yours any different? He seems the type to want to overachieve, but does he really only want his parents approval? Is there some hidden meaning behind most of the reasons why his parents were cruel, or did he just have the luck to be born in the "Parents Hate Me" club? I'm not saying to change your character at all, but perhaps just this angle? He can still be a smart-a** overachiever, but maybe for a different reason? For example maybe he's the favorite son, and needs to stay that way? It keeps the aspect of his personality in tact, but changes the background to be a bit more unique.Disregard, apparently I read a sentence wrong and can't tell the difference between words.

I'm actually having a hard time figuring out things to crit on! You've created a well-rounded character, explained his strengths and faults nicely, described hobbies and interests without having to stop the flow of what you're saying to do so. Very nicely done. heart Any questions I really had Rown already asked for me so. XD So I guess this is mostly just praise, haha.
I like the duality in being the pampered "baby" of the family but being shadowed by those same expectations. I find it very realistic and commend you on that. Things in families aren't so cut and dry because of our own insecurities. biggrin
SO UHM.. yes. Not really any critiques here but just a hearty "good job" and "congrats"! heart

The Bin's body bulged out strangely, and Ginger was feeling a bit concerned, "Bin, my love, if you gotsta let et out, jess let et out. A lil bit'o a belch never did a one any 'arm!"
The Bin shook, it could feel something rising it him, something terrible.
"O now, don't ya be stubborn my lad!" And with a fair bot of force, the lunchlady gave the bin a helpful slap on the back. The bin's could only hold out for so long, and not at all against Ginger's strength.
It would later be known as the Belch that Crossed the World. Sadly, Hellma's windows did not survive. Neither did the unfortunate gnome that happened to be cleaning them.
