  • Unusual Body Art/Parts: Goatee
  • Race: Human

Theme Song(s):
  • Magitek Research Facility- Nobuo Uematsu

Significant Trait: {In One or Two Words} Dutiful
Quotes:
  • "It's not the size of the blade that matters, except when theirs is twice as long. Then you're probably screwed."
  • "Welcome to Hef's Swords, Spears, Daggers and Other Assorted Pointy Things! How may I help you?"

Good/Evil: Good
Homeworld: World of Balance
Main Weapon: Steamhammer
Additional Equipment: Pair of tongs and small dagger strapped to his belt
Job Class: Blacksmith

Attack Abilities:
  • Burst Swing- Jets on opposite side of the hammer's swing open up and release a compressed burst of steam, allowing the hammer to accelerate and strike with a more concussive force.
  • Boiler- Hammer's jets release a condensed burst of steam, burning anything caught in its cloud (short range).

Support Abilities:
  • Warm Up- The power of Hef's steam attacks are based on how long he lets the boiler in the hammer charge up. Charging it up leaves him prone to attack, but can greatly increase the effectiveness of each.
  • Steam Room- Jets on both sides of the hammer open up and release a steady flow of steam, eventually causing a temporary fog to build up. This allows Hef and everyone else to move around out of sight.

Strengths: Immense physical strength; capable of making weapons with the right resources; knowledge of and some mechanical ability in field of steam powered machinery; resilient to heat.
Weaknesses: Very slow; limited intelligence; can't stand the cold.

Personality: Hefin is very into his business and making a profit, but is more casual than more business owners. When the day is done he doesn't mind going out for a celebration if he finished a particularly large order. He is also very protective about his daughter, and is starting to train her in how to use a weapon so that she can learn to defend herself.
Likes: His work; whiskey; battle.
Dislikes: The cold; mental stress; lack of business; Moogles.
Fears: Getting disabled in an arm; harm coming to his daughter; Gestahlian Empire finding him; deep water.

Family: Harietta Estalle (wife, deceased), Athene Estalle (daughter, 12)

Bio:

Hefin was originally a simple blacksmith who got contracted by the Gestahlian Empire to outfit their armies. While he showed more skill than most in his craftsmanship, he's incapable of making magically imbued weapons that the Moogles seem to make with ease. His wife Harietta died during childbirth, and he's been very protective of his daughter Athene since. When he learned of the Empire's true purpose to control the world through conquest, he tried to leave the world after completing the order, not wanting his baby to grow up in a world of war. However the Empire decided to make further use of him, and effectively enslaved him to assist in their development of magitek.

A few months later, Hefin managed to escape with Athene on a gummy ship while the Empire was pre-occupied with an attack on another kingdom. He decided to settle down on Traverse Town, and opened a new weapon shop. As attacks by Heartless increased, so did his customer base. Years have passed, and Hefin has been able to support himself and Athene very well. He still mourns the passing of his wife, but doesn't let it interfere with his day-to-day life.

Retaining some knowledge of the magitek and steam-powered machinery he worked on during his enslavement, Hefin has started making steam-powered weaponry to try and combat the rise of magical weaponry that his main competitors, the Moogles, seem to be making so easily. However, due to his limited knowledge, he has only been able to develop his personal weapon the Steamhammer, which is far too large for the average person to use.

  • Song- Artist

Significant Trait: Beastial
Quotes:
  • "Ahhhh, you look like a fine meal."
  • "I will not let my race become extinct."
  • "Feeling cold? Why not come closer..."

Good/Evil: Evil
Homeworld: ?
Main Weapon: Talons
Additional Equipment: N/A
Job Class: Monster

Attack Abilities:
  • Blizzard Mastery- Bleak has natural control over ice magic, to the extent that he can use all three levels with great skill.
  • Flash Freeze- Bleak's eyes emit a brilliant light, and anyone caught looking directly into his eyes will be encased in ice.
  • Frost Bite- Bleak sings his fangs into his victim and pumps his venom into their body, causing them to slowly freeze.

Support Abilities:
  • Ice Sculpture- Bleak can form a mimicry of a weapon through ice magic.
  • Cryogenic Sleep- Bleak encases himself in a block of ice and heals at a fast rate, but is left defenceless until he wakes.

Passive Abilities:
  • Whiteout- Bleak's skin turns white under snowy conditions, allowing him to blend in the environment.
  • Cryolisk's Venom- Bleak's saliva and blood contains a chemical agent that freezes whatever it comes in contact with.

Limit Breaks:
  • Fury Flurry- Bleak channels his anger and ice magic into his surroundings, causing a powerful snow storm to form. His enemies' vision is reduced and may freeze if unprepared.

Strengths: Superior ice control; incredible strength and speed; can immobilize a number of opponents at once.
Weaknesses: Lethally weak to fire; tends to rely on basic instincts; very brash.

Personality: Bleak is on the line that separates man from beast; he follows his natrual instincts for food and the survival of his race as any animal, but has the intelligence to be capable of thought and planning. When given the opportunity, he can be sadistic with his prey to the point of "playing" with them before finishing them off. He cares little that his meals tend to be capable of conscious thought, as they are all only food to him. As one of the few cryolisks left, he seeks to bring his race back from the brink.
Likes: Cold climates, toying with meals.
Dislikes: Extensive thought; prey escaping.
Fears: Fire.

Family: Unknown

Bio: Cryolisks used to be a populous race, inhabiting many planets. They were greatly feared, for they would attack villages and slaughter scores of the citizens. This would come to change when their prey reached the breaking point, and hunted down every cryolisk they could find. What used to be a race that brought nightmares to both children and adults became a memory, which too was forgotten. However the race was not entirely wiped out; there were still some that had escaped and have been lying in wait.

Bleak is one of these remaining cryolisks. However, he did not care for the solitude he had been forced to. He envisioned a return of his fellow beasts, and that THEY would become the dominant species. Managing to find other cryolisks on the planet he lived on, he attempted to rally them for an attack on the closest city. They refused however, remembering how their families had been killed. Bleak decided that he didn't need them, and set out on his own.

Bleak snuck into the city late at night and entered houses one by one, killing the families within. However the rest of the city eventually took note of this, and came together to drive him off. Bleak fought back but was wounded severely by an exceptional fighter. So he ran away from the city and back to his cave, where he put himself in a cryogenic sleep in order to be fully healed by the next day.

He had not expected that the city had sent out a search party with orders to destroy him. They had found his cave, with Bleak still in his deep sleep. Bleak had managed to luck out though; these humans were more concerned about money, and one of them knew a man who ran a monster arena. So while Bleak was still frozen and asleep, they delivered him to the arena owner and returned to the city saying they destroyed the monster.

Bleak fought for years there under both charms and chain, to prevent him from escaping or attacking the crowds. His resentment for others grew with each fight, but he waited for the day he would be able to escape. And that day had finally come: the owner had decided to take his show to a more profitable planet, and had each monster set up in a gummy carrier and set off to their destination.

Mid flight, Bleak had managed to break out from his bonds in the carrier's hold and killed the guards and pilot. This had not been the best plan, as the ship quickly started careening out of control, and had been pulled into a planet's gravitational pull. Bleak braced himself for the impact of the crash, and somehow managed to escape with relatively minor injuries. However, he found himself on a very odd planet...

ShadowOfIce
Name: Ayla Verdandi
Nickname/Alias:
Age: 199
Gender: Female

Appearance: User Image
  • Height: 4’5”
  • Weight: 78 lbs
  • Body Type: Petite. She’s small and frail, rather sickly looking.
  • Skin type: Pale, nearly white.
  • Eye Color: Murky Gray
  • Hair Color: Cyan
  • Hair Style: Her bright blue hair drifts down nearly to her waist, with three long bangs. Two drift down to her sides, and one right down the center between her eyes.
  • Clothing: Ayla has a somewhat gothic-lolita style in clothing, almost always garbed in frilly white cloths and the skirt reaching to her knees., often covered in easily seen blood stains she ends up with. But perhaps most disturbing is the noose she wears around her neck, the rope severed from its original knot, it doesn’t seem like she has ever removed it, and wears it like a necklace.
  • Unusual Body Art/Parts:
  • Race: Ageless human

Theme Song:
  • Broken Wings- Trinity Blood
  • A Valley In My Tears - Kimura Maki (Tsukuyomi -Moon Phase)

Significant Trait: Precision
Quotes:
  • “Never grow a wishbone where your backbone ought to be.”
  • “Though my needle and thread can fix nearly everything, it can not cure your stupidity.”
  • “Sometimes your best friend can be six feet under… and still speaking.”

Good/Evil: Lawful Neutral
Homeworld: Tsuvryen
Main Weapon: Contrary to what looks like the obvious, Ayla’s main weapon is not her bow, but instead, her magic needle. Ayla is essentially a ‘glass cannon’, possessing magical capabilities that are extremely powerful, but being no more than a frail girl in the end. Her needles and thread, as well as other mortician tools have capabilities in repairing and mending flesh and wounds like that of a cure spell, but in are only proficient outside a battlefield, as it becomes too hard to concentrate while fighting. However, with her knowledge of the body being as vast as it is, she’s good at finding the weak points to plunge her needle or bow in, or of course, use her dark, necrotic magic upon.
Additional Equipment: Ayla has a small shortbow she can use in combat when needed, deciding to fight from afar rather than upfront. What’s odd about this bow is how it is made entirely out of bone along the frame, and strung from another creature’s small intestine for the cord. For arrows, she actually concentrates her magic to fire a thin, white bolt made of her magical energies.
Ayla is known for carrying numerous ‘materials’ for her spells, often carrying a small bag of bones, embalming fluids, dried flesh and muscle, a few small jarred organs, and a few books. She usually puts the task of carrying all this up to her Servant, Orpheus though. However, she does keep a few bones along the lining of her skirt just in case.
Job Class: Mortician of the Dead

Attack Abilities:
  • Necrotic touch- Using the powers of unlife and darkness, Ayla can imbue her touch with negative energies, and rather than heal, she can harm a person, causing skin and tissue to break and burn away. However, this doesn’t work on heartless unfortunately, and only on living creatures.
  • Blizzard/(Blizzara- Every caster needs a basic spell in their arsenal that can often be relied on. Fire, thunder, or in Ayla’s case, Blizzard.

Support Abilities:
  • Stitch up- Using her magic needle and thread, Ayla is able to mend severe wounds with it. Acting like a Cura spell, the needle actually doesn’t hurt at all, even as she plunges it through a person’s flesh and sews up their wounds. As disturbing as it looks, it’s incredibly effective, even for internal wounds.
  • Bonecaller- Working with the dead often has a payoff. Being able to summon an undead from the grave, Ayla can provide herself with another servant. Though, the limitations of an undead are there. Powerful as they may be, they’re still slower, and very susceptible to light spells. Cure spells can also harm them, while darkness spells would heal them. The undead minion she can summon only lasts for a short time as well, usually the length of one battle. As well, due to more people dying from heartless rather than human causes, the sources of bodies have become surprisingly scarce too, and won’t always work for Ayla.
  • Fleshgrafter- Using the right sources, and having a willing patient, Ayla can actually graft on extra limbs or parts to a person. Though it can only last for a few hours since it’s dangerous to have on for too long, it can serve its uses, as… hideous as it can be. With her magic needle and thread, she can even alter a person’s appearance for a short amount of time.

Passive Abilities:
  • Scan- With her knowledge of the body, not just for humans, but most creatures in general, Ayla is well endowed in knowing how to kill, and what a target’s weak points are. Because of this, she’s able to tell just how long it takes before something will die, essentially knowing its exact life force
  • Servitos- The Servitos is an undead servant that has been bonded to the user for life, the two having an empathetic link even through the mind in their bond. In Ayla’s case, she has Orpheus. A Servitos, unlike other undead, retains its essence of knowledge and will it did in life, like having a second chance in life. More powerful and agile than normal undead, the Servitos functions not only as a fighter for Ayla, but can even aid her in surgeries, basic needs, or just keep her company.
  • Lich tongue- With the assistance of Orpheus, Ayla can speak with the undead, at least saying the most simple of phrases, questions, or commands to them.

Strengths: -Through studying her fathers work as a mortician, Ayla understands the bodies of all sorts of creatures. If it has a humanoid body, Ayla can understand it. Placing herself close to death and understanding how it’s simply a part of life, Ayla isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. In fact, it’s not uncommon that she stains her dresses with blood, seeing it to be the equivalent of just dirt, like blood is nothing to her. She knows how to not only use blood and bone for spells, but even to create things, perhaps bone armor, a blood boiling concoction, clothing made of flesh, her creations are disturbing but effective.

-Aylas is very accurate in her work. From her surgeries, to careful planning, even firing her bow, Ayla stresses precision more than anything else.

-Ayla’s also quite a smart girl. After having nearly two centuries to herself, mostly surrounded by books, she has learned about histories, religions, races, even proper conduct for a social situation. Although she is book smart, this leaves her to be a little naïve to some situations. But fortunately, she made sure to brush up on every topic she possibly could; even social interactions. However, reading about it, and actually experiencing it are two different things.

Weaknesses: -Ayla’s largest problem is her lack of interaction with the outside world. Because of this, even though she is booksmart, she can really take things out of context. Failing to understand things such as sarcasm, humor, and expressions, she may be able to talk with an intelligent and robust language, but she immediately locks up and questions any time she hears an expression or someone makes a sarcastic comment or insult. In fact, it’s not uncommon that she’ll cease the conversation altogether just to politely ask what the meaning of those words were.

-Since Ayla has sufficed for so long on an improper diet, sheltered herself from contact, and generally hasn’t left the castle much, Ayla is a very frail and rather weak girl when it comes to her physical strength. Though she is resilient and isn’t bothered by pain much, even known to cut herself at times, Ayla possess strength of just a weak child.

-Ayla is also an avid collector, but not at all in the good sense. With her fond obsession with death, Ayla has taken a fashion for collecting dead things of all kinds, and even carries around some with her. Though she prefers that which is preserved, like dry flesh, dehydrated organs, cleaned bones, or anything that wouldn’t make too much of a mess, she isn’t always picky. Because of this, she may have on her at times the necessities to build an undead, but she also tends to carry more than she could of just piles of dead things, enjoying and never feeling happier when she is this close to death. This also causes a big problem for her when it comes to finding the right item. It wouldn’t be uncommen for her to try and take out a potion or something to offer, only to pull out a skull. Not only do people find this disturbing, but there have been times where Alya would take a dead corpse over a magic item if she couldn’t physically carry both.

Personality: With a fond obsession with death and her ageless life, Ayla has become anything but normal. Having never interacted with others before, she takes conversations by the book, and is very literal with her meanings. She has a slow reaction to danger at times, and never really sees why things need to be rushed. After all, being ageless and spending her life raised by Orpheus, Ayla has an eternal patience, and has never acted to anger. As a matter of fact, she hardly seems to make many reactions at all. Dull in her emotions, she’s a very monotone, but occasionally curious girl when it comes to her surroundings. She is a girl who knows what she wants, and doesn’t get herself dragged into things that are not her business. Or at least, she tries to, because sometimes her curiosity about something she only read about does get the best of her when she sees it for the first time, and she forces herself into an interaction.

Somewhat of a loner time, never really socializing much, she tends to be the quiet one. However, if it came to speaking intellectually or even attempting a negotiation, her knowledge through all she learned over nearly two centuries of seclusion has lead her to gather a dictionary sized knowledge of words and social techniques, making her quite diplomatic if she needs to. However, she only steps out of her silence when she absolutely must, otherwise preferring to stay quiet and absorbed in her own thoughts, not afraid to help if she must, but preferring silence and solitude.

Likes: Ayla isn’t the type to express herself over liking something or not. In fact, the girl never even seems to smile. However, it’s obvious that the girl enjoys anything undead. Give her a brain in a jar, and she’ll be happy for days. She’s also an avid reader, often trying to learn all she can from them, having never seen most of what she read about, and simply knowing from the text. Most new things mystify and grab the girl’s curiosity too, so anything new or odd might catch her interest.
Dislikes: The living more than anything. That’s not to say she hates people, she just generally trusts the dead more than the living. Ayla also is a very private girl, and extremely dislikes it when someone invades her privacy or bothers her constantly. It’s amazing that she’s put up with Orpheus doing this for so long.
Fears: To be completely alone. Ayla likes to keep herself private, but always wants to have the company of at least one or two people. This is one of the main reasons she has Orpheus. Thankfully, with death being a thing that is unavoidable, she’s usually able to keep herself company with the undead.
Also, having never seen the ocean before, Ayla’s afraid of large bodies of water, having Aquaphobia to any water that’s deeper than her height of a mere four and a half feet. She still baths, but even then she’s very skittish around water in general.

Family: Mother: Shelene Verdandi. (Dead) Father: Chander Verdandi (Dead)

Bio: In the world of Tsuvryen, there lies a legend shrouded in mystery. What is truth, and what is fiction has become obscured in all the rumors, but there is one girl who walks that knows the whole truth of it. It is the legend of the Verdandi estate.

On the farther regions of Tsuvryen, there lies a castle far off from society where the Verdandi family used to live. Now, it is said to be haunted by the spirit of the Verdandi’s young daughter, Ayla, and the families nameless servant. There have been sightings of these two, and also undead skeletons who walk the halls of this gothic style castle. Any who enter never come back, said to become another servant to the lost soul of this dead girl. Some say the daughter went crazy, slaughtering the entire family before hanging herself. Others rumor that the mother and father killed her and hid the body, then abandoned the castle. Some just say it’s a hoax. And few even rumor that perhaps the entire family were slain and murdered from jealous people who wanted their wealth and secrets.

Hidden though is the truth, one that Ayla herself knows well enough, as she is in fact alive.

The Verdandi family, once a wealthy and prosperous family that sheltered themselves off from the world, had become corrupted overtime. Chander, Ayla’s father had discovered through his endless studies of necromancy the secret of living forever, but at a cost to his own sanity. His wife, Shelene, who was a powerful sorceress, and knowledgeable lorekeeper had aided him in finding this with her ancient knowledge and magic, and the two spent countless years finding the truth to eternal life.

No one of Tsuvryen knew of this dark secret the family held though. In fact, despite the somewhat disturbing customs of the Verdandi family, they were well liked, as they often shared their wealth and knowledge to the people, helping to support Valerat and its people.

But overtime, when the family gave birth to Ayla, things had rapidly changed. Her mother and father, having lived already for over a century from being ageless, begun to lose their grasps on reality. With cheating time and death, the two began to attempt discovering knew possibilities. Raising the dead, grafting body parts to creatures, learning both destruction and creation, the two were slowly becoming corrupted, neglecting their daughter as they left her to be taken care of by their undead servant; Orpheus. He too noticed their steady dive to darkness, and would shelter Ayla, leaving her blind to her parents corruption.

Eventually, the two had lost their lives. Shalene poisoning his body too much with dark powers, the corruption eating her from the inside out, while Chander was left with becoming less human, and more of a golem made up of countless different body parts, eventually dying as his body couldn’t handle the madman’s craft work.

Ayla has was left with only lies, as Orpheus told her that her parents never died, but went away, as they would eventually come back for her. And as young as Ayla was, she believed this, awaiting for what would never come, hoping one day they would come back for her.

Until then, Ayla started to study. She would raise herself from what her parents left behind, delving into the knowledge of the world outside the castles walls through her mothers books, learning about mortician work through her fathers rightful practices, but also learning about the darkside of magic and necromancy from her fathers wrongful ones as well. She studied obsessively on the same things that made her family lose their sanity, so Orpheus did his best to limit her, making sure she never went too far.

Never leaving the castle, raised only by Orpheus, Ayla had also gained the ageless ability her parents had, inheriting it. She never became as tainted as her family, but in the time of seclusion, Ayla’s mind had remained young, clearly not normal in the ways a person should be. Though smart, she is also very naïve to new things, but has still learned all she could about the world through the books and lore she read left by her mother. On the other hand, Ayla has taken a step closer to death from her father’s studies, even attempting to kill herself by hanging in order to see what lies beyond death, simply because she had become so fascinated with it. When that had failed when the rope snapped, she decided using bodies instead, searching for the dead in order to learn how to reanimate them, believing that life and death are just an ebb and flow that can one day be conquered. Because of this hobby, most of the castle has been decorated with dried bones, flesh, and failed attempts in resurrecting, causing no one to dare tread into the castle and calm the undead spirit of Ayla, unaware that the girl is in fact still alive.

Then… after nearly two centuries, understanding and grasping the fact that her parents were dead once Orpheus felt she was old enough to know the truth, things quickly changed for the two. It was the heartless. The Verdandi estate had become overrun by them. The people of Tsuvryen believed that they were running the heartless back when the darkness came down and winning the war was that a large amount of them took shelter, using the massive castle walls of the Verdandi estate as a home, invading it. So, Ayla and Orpheus were driven out, barely able to survive and sneak out from the creatures, abandoning the castle.

With no other option, Ayla had attempted a spell that her family had only written theories about. It took an entire day of chanting for the spell to work, attempting to use her powerful magic in a way she never had before, to transport herself and Orpheus somewhere else, perhaps to another world where the heartless would not find them. At the last hour though, Ayla was unable to finish the spell, when the heartless found them, and the two had been teleported somewhere completely off track. Ayla and Orpheus may have escaped the heartless, but they ended up in a world far different than they expected. Traverse Town…

ShadowOfIce
Name: Orpheus Entello
Nickname/Alias:
Age: 373. Spent 347 undead, another 25 alive before that
Gender: Male

Appearance: User Image

  • Height: 6’1”
  • Weight: 149
  • Body Type: Lean, thin but muscular.
  • Skin type: Stitched together flesh that’s different shades of gray, white, peach, and dark, but mostly pale.
  • Eye Color: None.
  • Hair Color: Gray
  • Hair Style: Long, unkempt, waist length. Two hang over his shoulders.
  • Clothing: Orpheus wears a long, black, side-button up coat. The sleeves are much longer, hiding his vicious claws underneath, and he wears a shawl over his shoulder and a black, wrinkled hat. Also, around his waist he has a thin golden band with three lockets.
  • Unusual Body Art/Parts: Due to his body being stitched and grafted together from separate parts, his flesh has obvious stitching, discolorations in his flesh, scars, and so on. Also, his hands underneath his cloak appear much larger along the fingertips. Ayla had grafted this onto Orpheus as his main form of a weapon, his claws hidden under the extra long sleeves of his cloak.
  • Race: Undead Half Elf.

Theme Song(s):
  • Too weird, Too normal- 42 Eternal
  • Wandering Ghosts- Dracula X Nocturne in the Moonlight

Significant Trait: Loyalty.
Quotes:
  • “Master says she would like you to go away… She also said you’re an idiot.”
  • “Master wants me to kill you now. But I wanna play a little first~!”
  • “Oh… eheh-heh… I-I can fix that. I’m a tailor. …Back when I was alive.”

Good/Evil: Chaotic Neutral
Homeworld: Tsuvryen
Main Weapon: Claws built into his hands/fingers.
Additional Equipment: Orpheus doesn’t really have much of his own. As long as he can live again and has Ayla, he doesn’t need anything. Orpheus is often stuck carrying Ayla’s gear, composed of undead parts, but he does have three lockets in a chain strapped around his waist. The photos being of his mother, father, and Ayla.
Job Class: Servitos

Attack Abilities:
  • Carnivorous bite- Ayla has provided her undead servant with sharper fangs as well. Through one of her surgeries, she gave Orpheus not only claws, but large fang like teeth for all his teeth.
  • Dragon’s breath- A vicious surprise, Ayla added in the same firey lung sacs small dragons in the Desolatus Inferni region to Orpheus. Though he can’t do it often as it would strain his undead body, Orpheus is able to occasionally spew out a deadly wave of fire on his enemies.

Passive Abilities:
  • Undead Traits- The life of an undead can be easygoing. As an undead, Orpheus has gained a few traits. His body is more resilient, and exhaustion is much harder to achieve. Poisons and toxins are harder to inflict on him, sleep is hardly ever needed, and he has become immune to most darkness spells. However, unlike a normal undead, Orpheus still has his soul, or rather, his heart still within him since he is a Servitos, and is still susceptible to Heartless.
  • Scent- Orpheus may not have eyes, but he relies on to other senses. His first is what Ayla grafted into him. Ridding Orpheus of his old, elven tongue, she replaced it with a serpent tongue, giving him the ability to detect things by tasting the air, heightening his senses.
  • Empathetic link- Between Orpheus and Ayla, the two have the ability to speak with one another wordlessly at a short range. Within 500 feet of another, the two can share their thoughts, and Ayla can even allow him to see through her eyes.

Strengths: Where as it’s also his greatest weakness, Orpheus being an undead is also his greatest strength. Being capable of taking more damage then most, having no fear of death, being immune to certain things, never needing to sleep, eat, or breath, it all comes with its plusses, and Orpheus embraces the power he has.

Where as most undead are walking meat shields who destroy all in their path, Orpheus chooses an approach with more finesse. He’s a much more agile Servitos, and prefers to compare everything he does to a ‘dance’ or an act, like a fight is all just on a stage and he is an actor. None the less, for an undead, he proves to be much quicker than you would expect, as fluent and fast as a normal half-elf despite having been dead before.

Weaknesses: Even when you’re ‘built’, your never perfect. In fact, for Orpheus, his weaknesses are the most obvious, and at the same time, some are well hidden.

For the most part, being resurrected back as an undead makes him far from being without a share of weaknesses. Certain spells that work to destroy and damage the undead still effect him as much as any other, and thus he has his own share of things to worry about. Light spells, rebuking, healing/cures, and so on actually damage him just as much as they would heal. As no longer just a half-elf and instead a walking corpse, there is many things he needs to be careful of. Never having to breath may be nice, but holding your breath inside the walls of a Holy church won’t help him at all as it slowly would kill him, and most holy relics are a bane to him.

Also, one odd trait that has hindered Orpheus many times before is his fascination with ‘cute things.’ Tiny creatures, cute girls, Nekos, plushies, and the list goes on. When Orpheus was alive and was starting in the clothing and textiles business of the family, he always enjoyed creating cute and frilly clothing, even having created Ayla’s.

Personality: Orpheus has proven to be a schemer at all times. Seen always wearing the Cheshire’s grin with his sharp fangs, it’s like he finds everything and everyone around him to be amusing, often laughing at even the most dull of things.

He is fully loyal to Alya, because how well her family before her treated him well, serving the family for over 300 years. But also because of a promise he made and how Alya treats him well, always promising her protection. That, and he finds it impossible to resist the adorable Lolita girl, sometimes even joking about wanting to wed her.

Though he is a constant joker, there are two interesting things about Orpheus’s personality that make him even more of a unique servant than most. In battle, he does not simply follow his commands, but he makes it into a game. Never silent in a fight, finding even the most bloody of battles to be nothing short of amusement to him as he laughs even when he’s harmed. The other things is his… ‘fascination’ with cute things. For an undead, Orpheus certainly shows a strange side as he obsesses over seeing things that are adorable, cute, and moe. Whether it’s a tiny creature he can’t help from petting, to seeing cute little girls and even his master who he can’t resist from wanting to ‘glomp.’ Overall, for a servant, Orpheus has a lot more personality than one would think, but perhaps that’s what makes him a Servitos, and not just some meager undead.
Likes: Orpheus is a party lover. As long as he’s able to be around other people and pull a few pranks or talk, he’s more than happy. He loves to be around others, causing mischief, or indulge on being with ‘cute things.’ Also, since in his life before death he was a tailor, Orpheus enjoys working alongside Ayla, especially for her surgeries, and even using some of her needles to stitch together clothing for her.
Dislikes: The Servitos seems to just not want to keep still. When there is absolutely nothing going on, Orpheus will complain about it to no end, especially when he’s ignored. As well, even though he was a religious person when he was alive, Orpheus has now learned to hate it all. Since most holy symbols harm him, or any form of light in general, he’s grown a strong disliking for now.
Fears: When you’re dead, you’ve learned to find yourself feeling invincible, things that would normally be dangerous or deadly becoming mere child splay. However, Orpheus’s second chance did make him realize how frightening death really is. Orpheus truly fears dying once again. He knows without Ayla, he wouldn’t be alive, as the two share a bond that keeps him alive like he is now. Thus, the Servitos is mortified by the thought of either dying again, or losing Ayla.

Family: Father: Tenabe Entello (Dead) Mother: Margret Entellow (Dead)

Bio: The life of Orpheus is certainly a tale long forgotten. Originally, his family was a prestigious group of elves who found themselves well respected by among other elves in the Tri'vvelry continent of Tsuvryen. The Orpheus family was mostly known or their work in textiles, clothing, armor, and apparel designings, and the Entello name became quite popular for clothing and iron or hide armors among the elves.

Over the years, the tradition of the Entello family was to keep their kind married among other elves, thus keeping their blood pure. However, when the current owner to the clothing company; Tenabe Entello, married a human woman named Margret and eventually gave birth to their half-elf son, Orpheus, the Entello family was brought great shame. The family broke apart over the forbidden love, and a strong hatred quickly grew over the years. Orpheus himself was sheltered from it at first, but it wasn’t until his family had been killed at the age of 20 –just when he was starting to learn the business- that he realized the faults of his family. Over the years, one by one the Entello family was killed by zealot racists, elves or humans who found their blood to be tainted, and even each other as the Entello family was quickly killed off. And before long, at the age of 25, Orpheus himself had been killed, putting the family name to extinction.

But for Orpheus, that was only the beginning.

The Entello family had wealthy support over the years to keep the business going, and the Verdandi family was their largest supporter. Choosing Orpheus, it was Chander Verdandi (Alya’s father) who resurrected him, as both an experiment, and to keep the dying Entello family alive… somewhat.

Orpheus had been brought back as more than just an undead though, but as a Servitos, fully aware of his existence, his past life, who he was; all of it. And he decided to repay them for his second chance by becoming a servant to them. He was accepted as a family member though as well, having a mother and father in a sense once again, but also people to give him meaning.

Over there years, when a series of events that lead to Ayla being left alone at the Verdandi estate occurred, Orpheus still continued his servitude. Not only as a servant, but keeping Ayla company as he watched her grow, even feeling a ping of love for the young girl like a servant to it’s master. For now and forever, Orpheus continues his servitude to the Verdandi family, or rather; to just Alya, and does so always with a smile, never forgetting that he is only alive now because of them.

Family: Wyatt's mother and father are both deceased.

Bio: Wyatt was born in a city near the castle of the ruler of Arez. Wyatt's parents died after he was born and Wyatt was left to the care of his grandfather. Wyatt's grandfather taught Wyatt the basics of swordmanship, took him to church to worship the god of their world, and even taught him things he world need to know like the history of Arez. Or at least as much as he could before he died. Wyatt's grandfather deid when Wyatt was 16.

After Wyatt's grandfather's death Wyatt decided to make use of his basic skills of sword fighting and joined the army of his world. However, he didn't have to go to war and fight other people of his world. He didn't have to, because all the people of the world was united as one country. In other words, they made peace with each other. However, they still needed protection from monsters of the world, so they still kept a army that split itself into small groups to go about and defend small towns and cities. So, Wyatt traveled to different parts of the world with a group of people. Everyone in his group had diffferent skills. In total there was four people in Wyatt's group. A white mage, black mage, bowswoman, and Wyatt.

After two years with the group Wyatt ended becoming friends with everyone in the group. Wyatt also, became interested in the magic of the black mage. After a short while Wyatt ended up asking the black mage about magic and wanted to learn how to use it. So, the black mage started teaching him some of the basic magic and Wyatt got the hang of it rather fast. However, his magic spells were not nearly as powerful as the black mage's spells. So, Wyatt decided to try to cast the spells on his weapon and use them in battle that way. He found that it was more to his advantage this way, so decided to focus mainly on combining the magic spells with his weapon when he was in battle.

After, another year went by Wyatt wanted to learn more spells, but unfortunatly he and the black mage would not have time for more training sessions. Because, now a new creature began to show up on Arez. The creatures names were heartless and they were stealing hearts from the people. Also, some people started using the power of darkness and became evil upon using it. These people started to attack the towns and cities of the world. Also, to make matters worse among these people was the king. The king himself had subcome to the darkness and was leading the dark followers of the world. After a few months went by the goal of the heartless was thought to be clear. They thought that the heartless were after the world's heart. Which was found to be inside the castle that the king used to live. After people began to find this out Wyatt's group decided they should head to the castle and try to seal the door to the heart somehow or at least make a barrier. Wyatt's group was not the only ones to think this. It seemed upon going to the castle other soldiers and towns folk alike was heading to the castle to seal the door shut. Upon entering the castle Wyatt's group noticed that the king and the dark followers was at the castle trying to help the heartless to destory the world's heart.

Upon discovering this the group attacked the heartless and the dark followers. They also, headed down to the door with other people to seal the door with magic. As soon as they got to the door the white mage and black mage of the group began using their magic with other magic users to seal the door. As the black mage and white mage did this Wyatt and the bowswoman together with other warriors did their best to hold off the heartless. After a few minutes all the mages noticed that for some reason their spells were not working, so they all agreed to make a barrier around the door. It took several hours, but all the mages there made the barrier. After the mages made the barrier Wyatt' group and many others left the castle. Well, actually fought their wayout, but you get the picture.

After Wyatt's group left the castle the white mage and black mage revealed something to Wyatt and the bowswoman. The two mages told them that while everyone was fighting all the mages although doing their best could not seal the door. Instead they made a barrier around the door and took four keys and made it so that you would need these keys in order to break the barrier. Also, they told them they had the keys. After they told them this they showed them the four keys. Each one was a different type of metal. One was brass, one was silver, one was steel, and one was gold. The group decided that each one of them would take a key and then hide from the king and the dark followers, because they were afraid that after a while the dark followers would find out that they would need these keys to break the barrier. After that the group split up and had not seen each other ever since.

After splitting up Wyatt went to what was left of the old city he lived in. In the old city he found people trying experiments on some objects that fell from the sky. Wyatt decided to help them, becuase he found out that these people were trying to build a ship to leave this world and find a more peaceful world. It took them a very long year, but they made the ship and left. the gummi ship lead Wyatt and the people on it to Traverse Town. When Wyatt got to Traverse Town he thought that he could keep the key away from the dark followers of his world, so he stayed. It has been three years now and all that Wyatt has been trying to do is stay alive and keep away from the evil king of his homeworld. Also, he has been trying to protect the people in Traverse Town from the heartless.

FaustianPact
User ImageName: Maximillion Alexander Faust II.
Nickname/Alias: Max, but only to his friends; Faust otherwise.
Age: Early to mid-twenties, 24?
Gender: Male.

Appearance
    Height: 5'10".
    Weight: 175lbs, yet little fat.
Body Type: Lithe and wiry, with toned rather than bulky muscle.
Skin type: Pale, as though he has seen the sun, but on rare occasions, or doesn't tan at all.
Eye Color: His hidden left eye is a sluggish blood red, whilst his right eye is a clear cerulean blue.
Hair Color: A faded steel grey, although already hairs of white, barely visible, have begun to show through.
Hair Style: Spiky and travel-stained, although carefully groomed and kept at a reasonable length. A length of hair runs over his left eye, obscuring it from view.

    Clothing
He clearly favors the color gray, as well as leathery tones, his most unique item being a dusty, well-worn dark gray hooded traveler's cloak, which looks well-maintained nonetheless; on his upper body is worn a white singlet, fitted to form, also well-worn and dusty, but, like his cloak, skillfully repaired and well-maintained; he wears fingerless gloves, of sturdy leather make and dyed a dusty brown. For lower body gear he wears simple workman's pants, with a leathery color and feel to them, beginning to wear at the knees, although his pants run the way of all of his other gear, maintained to an almost strict standard, but for usage reasons dusty and travel-worn. He also wears hard-wearing leather boots, of a khaki hue, obviously meant for heavy working, or, perhaps, travelling.

A length of rope serves as his belt, coiled many times around his waist before being fastened securely. The only visible accessories he wears are earrings in each ear, made of some lighter-hued metal like steel, both in the shape of a ball, connected via a thin bridge to a spike, facing towards the ground; also, if anyone is around when he removes his cloak, they will notice he wears what appears to be a steel locket, which is heavily engraved, embellished and spotless.

    Unusual Body Art/Parts
His only unusual feature - his singular blood-red eye - is extremely out of place with his otherwise deliberately regular and somber caste.

    Race: Human.

Theme Song(s)
    Via Purifico - Nobuo Uematsu
    Deep River - Utada Hikaru

Significant Trait: Unusually calm, and alarmingly straightforward.
Quotes
"Let me save you some time: cold."
"Am I going to tell you about me? No."

Good/Evil: Good, with neutral-ground tendencies in some areas.
Homeworld: Traverse Town; formerly Radiant Garden before the "Fall of the First".

Main Weapon
Forgiveness - Faust's blade, carried in a large sheath attached to his back. An enormous, double-edged zweihänder with a widened blade, Faust is nevertheless extremely skilled in its usage, capable of dealing an extreme amount of damage whilst wielding the weapon. It is honed to a razor-sharp edge, and, to the trained eye, seems to be made of a stranger material than most.

The word "Forgiveness" is etched into the blade near the crossguard, and the weapon itself is of an unusual hue: an extremely dark gray, almost black, the weapon is extremely heavy, far heavier than it admittedly large size belies. Other than this, the weapon possesses no outstanding features to the naked eye.

Additional Equipment
Atonement - Faust's revolver, carried in a holstered gunbelt strapped to his waist above his rope belt. A heavy-duty weapon, with a widened, extended barrel and enlarged chamber, holding eight rounds instead of six. Bulkier to use than a regular revolver, this personally modified weapon possesses increased damage and range. albeit increased recoil and lessened stability. Designed as a close-quarters weapon. Faust has honed the art of wielding this weapon to a fine art.

The word "Atonement" is etched into the barrel near the beginnings of the chamber body, and it possesses light engraving on the chamber body near the pistol grip, of various tribal designs. Faust's gunbelt is of sturdy leather make, hard-wearing, but carefully oiled and maintained; it has a number of spare round slots, which can hold a maximum of 32 spare rounds for his revolver. Asides from these details, it possesses no other remarkable features to the naked eye.

The Rope - A length of rope that in most cases serves as Faust's belt, this ingeniously enchanted length of rope serves Faust in an innumerable number of ways: as a grappling hook, an anchor, as 'cuffs, and more. Unbreakable, this rope is also far longer than its appearance belies. It also possesses the ability to wrap around and form an unbreakable fastening to almost any object upon Faust's mental command.

Stitched into the base of the rope is the phrase "I am The Rope". Other than this, The Rope possesses no outstanding features to the naked eye.

Job Class: Soldier/Machinist.

Attack Abilities
Breaker - Concentrating his power, Faust channels it into producing an enormous right-to-left slash, capable of breaking even extremely heavy or dense objects with ease. However, the stamina consumption of this technique is enormous, leaving Faust unable to use any other abilities, attack or defense, for a short time.
Focus Shot - Drawing "Atonement" in a single fluid motion, Faust fires a single round with pinpoint accuracy, despite distances, and with enormous focus. However, the energy transferred from Faust to the round overheats "Atonement", leaving it unable to be used further for a short time.
Counter - In battle Faust is an adept tactician, able to anticipate a lesser-skilled opponent's movements, and, in most such cases, counter their attacks by swiftly nullifying and launching a single attack of his own.

Support Abilities
I am The Rope - Using a mental command, Faust has the ability to unravel The Rope and fling it towards the target of his choice, fastening around it with an unbreakable bond. However, it can only be fastened to things that Faust either has viewed or is viewing currently, and cannot be used as an offensive aid.
Combat Aid - Faust has an extensive experience and knowledge of combat injuries and their treatments, and is thus able to heal both himself and companions who have been wounded in combat. However, this does not cover poisons, magical or spiritual damage, only physical. Also, despite its name, Combat Aid cannot be used during combat.
Stealth - Faust is an accomplished thief-taker, experience teaching him how to use the shadows and dark places to his advantage, shielding him from regular sight when used in such areas.

Passive Abilities
Observant - Faust has, through his experiences as a thief-taker, learnt to carefully observe his environment and see, not just look. This let him notice things that other people would usually miss, such as traps and secret passages - however, what he does not possess is innate knowledge of how to deal with such things.
Swift Draw - Faust is an extremely swift draw with both of his weapons, able to draw his revolver "Atonement" and fire off up to two shots, or draw his blade "Forgiveness" and slash once almost as a reflex action. Usually used when ambushed by enemies, it can nevertheless be applied to other situations also.

Limit Break(s):
Individual Limit Break: Fluid Dual Strike - Currently Faust's strongest attack, this technique involves Faust focusing upon an enemy his focus is razor-sharp, then exploding into a charge. Whether the enemy is more skilled or not is almost irrelevant, with Faust knocking aside his opponent's maneuver and countering with two split-second strikes crisscrossing an extremely wide area with pinpoint accuracy.

Combined with Forgiveness, this results in a devastating attack, dealing immense damage both internal and external. However, Faust's gathering focus involves him not being able to attack for almost a minute, and the resultant tunnel vision from his focus results in him not being able to view or counter anything approaching on his flanks.

Strengths: Intelligent, sensible, and insightful; also experienced in martial matters, in particular heavy weapon combat: he is capable of causing immense damage, far out of proportion to his size.
Weaknesses: Skeptical, withdrawn and slow to trust; decreased maneuverability and overall agility on the battlefield due to his preference for heavy weaponry.

Personality: At first glance, appears to be of a slightly suspicious and skeptical nature; is mostly quiet, and seems to keep his thoughts to himself. However, those who take the time to break through his initially unkind veneer discover a closet optimist, one who believes that there is always a way to solve anything, no matter the circumstances; and they would also make an extremely loyal friend, one who would, without question, sacrifice his life for theirs and trust them unquestioningly with his life.

Likes: Reading, learning, painting and carvings, and instrumental music.
Dislikes: Lawbreakers and criminals, overly curious people, and immaturity.
Fear(s): Being unable to protect things or people important in nature to him, such as friends.

Family
Father: Maximillion Alexander Faust I [Status: Unknown.]
    Mother: Alessia Ecthelion [Status: Deceased.]
    Ex-Partner: Seraphina Taeran [Status: Deceased.]

Bio: When pressed for details about his past, Faust simply remains silent for a time, then tells a simple and straightforward tale of him arriving in Traverse Town almost four years ago, seeking to carve a life out for himself. He tells of his trade, the bounty hunter profession, and how he is good enough at that, able to earn enough to live a reasonable, if unremarkable, existence. He also mentions that he is interested in a wide range of topics, ranging from leatherworking to needlework. The conversation over, he returns to his silent contemplation, leaving you oddly unsatisfied for answers.

However, those who take the time to befriend Faust, and break through his otherwise unfriendly and abrasive demeanor, would uncover his true story: born on the now non-existent world of Radiant Garden, Faust led an otherwise unremarkable existence in his youth, excelling in his studies, until he joined what passed for the on-world defense forces, commissioned as an officer. An unusual decision, it was nevertheless Faust's aspiration in life to don the grey uniform, and he plunged into his duties with a zeal and energy that surprised all he encountered.

Reported to be "an extremely optimistic, positive and keen officer", the defense forces are where Faust received his tuition in the martial arts of bladed and ranged combat, primarily with firearms. Taught by a certain Sergeant Vallon - an outspoken exponent of heavy weaponry - Faust was initially reluctant to learn, however he soon began to show an interest in the grace and concentration required to develop expertise with the gun and the blade, and in due time began to excel in these areas also.

A year passed, molding Faust into a confident, diligent and skilled officer. Then happened the "Fall of the First". Unable to defend against the onslaught of the Darkness, Faust was one of the few that escaped the destruction of the world, by fleeing on board one of the few gummi ships that managed to make it off-world. Traumatized by what could only be described as a massacre, and distraught by what he perceived - and still does perceive - as his inability to defend his world from the Darkness, Faust began to regress to the state in which he resides today.

Landing in Traverse Town, Faust wandered for months, lost and alone - until one day, he apprehended a criminal in the Back Alley. Retaining his intense dislike of criminals and lawbreakers from his experiences as a defense officer, he was nevertheless surprised when he was presented with a reward for the capture of the convict. Thus began Faust's forays into the profession of the bounty hunter, a profession at which he excelled, the potent combination of his militant experience and his inbred dislike for wrongdoers proving most effective.

Four years on, and Faust, deprived of most decent company due to his work, and provided solace only through books and music, has developed into a melancholy, withdrawn and anti-social individual, with a streak of neutrality that could only be described as indifference, or, perhaps, ruthlessness. His hard life of thief-taking has instilled in him an automatic distrust of strangers and suspicious circumstances, and as a result, he can appear clipped and to-the-point to all but his friends, of which he currently has very few.

Family: Mother (deceased), father (deceased), brother (missing and thought to be deceased,) Christie (sister)

Bio:
Trained in various forms of martial arts (including Kung Fu and Parkour) and swordplay, Dante quickly became one of the youngest promoted to guard the Royal Family. Trusted, Dante became close to the family and fell in love with the daughter. However, a lapse in judgment had Dante indisposed during several murders, including the Royal Mother. In retaliation, the Royal Father ordered for Dante’s parents to be taken, tortured and eventually fatally wounded. On their death beds, Dante’s parents infused their life forces into two vital pieces of equipment. His mother created the Angel –Guard to protect her son even in death. His father gave his life for the Meta – Guard so that his son could always protect the ones he loved.

Sample Post:
“You would make a lot more munny as the King’s guard,” Christie informed once again. “A lot more than I can pay you as a bus boy in my restaurant.”

“I’ll never be a guard again,” Dante tossed the last plate into the washer and turned it on. “That life is behind me…”

“Stop,” Christie sighed. “You can’t punish yourself forever. You fell in love.”

“And it cost me my family…”

Our family,” she retorted. “It’s not your fault a dictator sought retribution just because you were on a date with his daughter. You weren’t even on duty! He knew that!” She escorted her little brother out of the service entrance and out into the back alley.

“But I was on call,” he grabbed his jacket and walked out. “I should have never allowed her to turn off… my… ph – “ He looked up, marveling at the shower of meteors. He’d never seen so many at once.

“What are they?” Christie asked. “Doesn’t look like any meteor shower I’ve seen.”

Dante squinted, noting the multi-colored trails. Some even changed direction in mid-air. One headed straight for them.

“Look out!” Dante shouted as he donned his jacket and grabbed his sister. The metal bracelet on his left wrist emanated blue light and expanded, covering his entire arm in metal plates. The hunched down in a corner.

The impact wasn’t as great as they thought. In fact, besides a strange “boing” sound, there was nothing. He looked back, seeing a strange, wing-like object leaning against a wall as if it had been there all along. Nothing around it was disturbed, save a few pieces of littered paper strewn about in the wind.

“Go back inside,” Dante ordered, never taking his eyes off of the brightly colored object. “More could fall around here.” He approached with caution. Crouching down for a closer look, he reached out. The last thing he remembered was how squishy the mysterious object felt before a bright light blinded him.

The sleeves come down to her elbows and over most of her scar, and the shirt has a modest v-neck to it. A pair of wrist guards covers her black gloves. A long blood red scabbard is slung over her right shoulder and across her body. A long chain with a silver dragon wrapped around a sword hangs from her neck, usually hidden under the shirt.

Theme Song(s):
  • Full Moon- The Black Ghosts
  • Together - Avril Lavigne
  • Before the Dawn - Evanescence

Significant Trait: Independent, Bull Headed, Broken
Quotes:
  • “You don’t scare me, Heartless! Bring it on!”
  • “Don’t you dare start with me. I have a long sharp object, and I will hit you over the head with it.”
  • “My allegiance lies with no one, but I am no bounty hunter. I simply hunt Heartless, nothing more. If you need that, then I’m your girl.”

Good/Evil: Chaotic Good
Homeworld: Patr
Main Weapon: Daemon Hunter, a black claymore with an intricate blood red handle of a dragon. The wings act as the hand guard, and it tail acts as the handle itself, the end curling around a stone for the pummel. Its head arches up the blade for about five inches.
Additional Equipment: A shoulder guard over her left shoulder
Job Class: Rogue Knight

Attack Abilities:
  • Daemon’s Blood - Imbues her sword with what’s left of her holy magic, allowing her to hit enemies hard and with ease. The blade seems to glow blood red with this ability is active. She can only use this for a short time, for her magic is almost up.
  • Rage of a Knight- She goes berserk, and lets her temper and anger rule her attacks and what she does. She can be very dangerous when using this, and won’t hesitate to attack allies.

Support Abilities:
  • Dash- Allows her to sprint for a short period of time, and gives her added force into ther attacks.

Passive Abilities:
  • Monkey Grip- She can wield her claymore in one hand, but rarely does it for it decreases her attack power.

Weaknesses: Her temper, tall cute men, jumping head long into danger because something is taking too long, rushing

Personality: Quick to anger, and quicker to cry, Alex is one loose cannon. She doesn’t like to take orders from anyone but herself, and rarely allies herself with one group. Her temper is as sharp as her claymore, and her fist hits almost as hard. With the right people, she’s amiable and sweet as can be, but the minute she senses betrayal or a thief, there is no chance. She tends to stay off by herself because her temper is so bad. Beneath her tough façade is, however, a girl broken by heart ache and loss, and tormented by the darkness in her heart.
Likes: Fighting Heartless, chocolate
Dislikes: Paperwork, whiny girls, people who get in her way
Fears: Loosing herself to the darkness, bees,

Family: All deceased, except for an Aunt who went mad when the darkness attacked

Bio: Alex lived a normal life up until her eighteenth birthday. She was born to the two best people in the world, Remial, her black smith father, and Fern, her dragon rider mother. Times were hard in Patr with the War of the Dragons going on. It was always a possibility her mother wouldn’t come home from a battle, but that was to be expected. Her father taught her blacksmithing, and how to wield a blade while her mother was away, saying that if she got good enough when she was right age, she could join Fern on the battle field.

At sixteen, Alex enlisted into the ranks of the army. For two years, she fought alongside her friends and enemies, and underneath her mother, climbing ranks faster than most people did. By eighteen, she was a Dragon Knight, one of the elite fighters in the army. The war was unending it seemed, for no side had an advantage. She acquired a liking to claymores and two-and-a-half hands swords around this time.

And then everything changed. The day she turned eighteen, the Emperor employed a new attack against the rebel forces. Waves of dark beings with yellow eyes surged over the army, decimating their forces in minutes. Her mother and her dragon surged for the Emperor to stop the war once and for all, but she too found the same fate as the rest of her comrades. The shadows, known as Daemons, surged upwards, jumping higher than thought possible, and stole Fern’s heart. Alex somehow arrived un scathed by the shadows, but forever she was changed. Picking up her claymore, her fury and anger changing the blade into Daemon Hunter, she swore to destroy each and every one of the Daemons and not stop until they were all gone. While her actions true, her heart is now divided, and a part full of darkness hides with in it, threatening to take her over and destroy her. She fights, not for her dead family and friends, but out of fear of the darkness in her heart.
