I miss drawing like no fkn joke. Sketching on paper just doesn't even compare with my love of drawing on the computer, not even close. My time without a tablet has been horrid ;-; I'm so glad that I will have one soon. (Gorr ordered it and they said it'd get here in 7-10 business days a couple days ago) ffffffff I am going to drown myself in drawing time D; <3
andand I don't know if anyone else does this but I do it all the flippin time! Draw something that I think looks great at the time but then like a few days/few weeks later see it and go "Oh god wth is that? SRSLY? Learn to draw newb D: <" yeahhhhhh I've had that happening a lot lately -death glaring at my and Gorr's roleplay posts- >.> I will be so relieved to redraw some of the pictures I'm ew'ing at ;-; Plus I wanna play dress-up all over Silas's booty >.> Since Den is buying him new clothes anyway D; Just had to rant a bit D;
TABLET I MISS YOUUUUUU D: <3 hatehatehate not being able to do my artz ;-;

Oh my god I am so the exact freaking opposite. The beautiful love of creation in the realm of traditional media makes my tablet feel like fingerpainting.

BeyondAlgo Oh my god I am so the exact freaking opposite. The beautiful love of creation in the realm of traditional media makes my tablet feel like fingerpainting. I used to feel that way like I started out on nothing but realism and I did paintings all the time but then I started testing the waters on the digital realm and now my tablet is like a part of me. Hate not having it.

Painting is nice, I loved it in my art classes in high-school but now a days, 9 times out of 10 I would pick digital media's. They may not be 'down-to-earth' or the like but they're new, and I'm constantly learning and there is just so much that can be done with them. Not that you don't get that with traditional medias, I just enjoy it more in the digital world.
x3
Happy to know that Gorr is on her way now with my new baby ;-; <3

FFFFFFFFFF YAAAAAY. 8DDD
I used to not use a tablet at all. .-. I experimented once or twice at first with my old one, then like years later I got overly inspired by all the cool art I was seeing on DA and finally got to go out and get a new one that actually worked with my new computer. XD NowIdrawmoreonthecomptuerthanwithapencil. ;;;; Unless I'm out in class or something and need to doodle SOMETHING. Because paying attention in class is totally what I do. Mmhmm. Yup. Ffffffffff yes play dress up with Silas. 8D [/shanked]

I use a tablet mostly for convinenceeeeeee It is true, traditional is a lot more difficult skill wise then digital, its sometimes more enticing to experiment digitally because of the limitless possibilities as opposed to say, limited uses of pastels.

Traditional is tricky. D: Like if you're coloring you have to carefully think through how you're going to layer everything since you can't fix it once you put something down. XD I had trouble with that a few times.

I think once I get over being star-struck over digital medias I'll paint as well, but lately I've been so strictly digital. Constantly impressed with what can be done with it.
I have my tablet nowwwww the driver gave me issues >.> but now its up and running 8D
