We may be just a small fan club now, but I'd like to see this wonderful potential of a guild turn into a Dragon Quest Paradise where a user can find anything they need for any game!
So far, the biggest thing coming to my mind is calling characters your own (mainly for identification). This idea comes from two guilds I am in: Fire Emblem Forever (http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/id.15057) and The Sailor Moon Guild (http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/id.9511). Keep in mind, if requesting an extra forum, it costs a good 2,500 gold and it usually comes out of my pocket, but in the name of Dragon Quest, 2,500 gold is smaller than the amount of gold King Lorik gives The Descendant of Roto to begin his quest!

Someone could start an RP. Not like a crossover, necessarily, but a lot of folks here have played DQIX. Why not do something with the created characters as original characters?
I always wondered what the main characters had to other main characters when they went into each others games. What if we roleplayed grotto busting, and made up our own quests and scenarios and stuff? Maybe Different things could be going on in different worlds.
I'm not sure how many of y'all like forum roleplay, but I could manage it. My mind is flowing with ideas right now.
Of course, I'd only do it if there are people willing to take part in it.

I'd be willing to try RP'ing despite never RP'ing before, I think it would be a great idea as there is a vast number of RP'ers out there. I'm also sure that as this guild grows, there ought to be a couple people who will be like me and want to give RP'ing a try.
I've also decided to make up my mind on the character thread, it may take awhile to come up with the list, but I'll at least get the vital characters in the main series down at first and add on as I go.

We've got a couple people around, so I'm gonna start outlining my DQIX RP idea. I'll post the initial threads and some guidelines in Littering the litter, and if it takes off, I'll buy an RP forum. -donates gold to guild-
It doesn't have to be the only RP floating around, of course. But I think it would make an excellent ongoing RP.
