The male was on his way to find something. He wasn't exactly sure, but he knew it was in the forest. He would know it when he found it. With a shrug of the shoulders, he trotted into the forest.
Bruiser spied a rabbit along the path deep in the forest. He wasn't going to chase it, not at first, but it took off in front of him. He kept his head down as ran after the rabbit. It zigzagged a lot before finally jumping down into its hole. The fox sat next to the hole and started digging, his mind was set on the rabbit now. He turned his starry eye down at the hole and the rabbit kicked dirt into his face. "Why you little brat," he growled at it. After about an hour, Bruiser gave up on the so called meal. He was exhausted and hungry now. He sighed and looked around for some berries, not as filling but it was something at least.
"Well that wasn't what I was looking for."

Dakari held back a scornful snort.
He had been traveling through lands outside Cruor, looking for useful herbs for Aka and the carers. He made mental notes of several plants that smelled good, or were edible. He planned on bringing as much back as he could carry.
His search had been interrupted by the sound of something big tearing through the grass. A funny-colored fox came streaking into his line of view, after a brown bundle that appeared to be a rabbit. Judging from his sudden halt the rabbit had gone down it's burrow.
Whatever, not his problem. He had gone off and continued his search for plants. After noting several more locations he had decided to find a meal. He bagged a plump rabbit, a big male. In case another predator heard the sounds of his killing Dakari decided to find another place to eat.
By sheer coinsidence Dakari passed back by the spot where the fox was still waiting over the rabbit hole. He looked like he had dirt covering his face, and seemed to be muttering at the hole. After a moment he straightened up and stalked off. That was when Dakari snorted.
He followed after the male and found him poking through some bushes. Silly of him, there were snakes in this area. He dropped the rabbit on the ground. "Not much of a hunter, are ya."

Bruiser startled by the sound of another voice, got tangled in the bush. After he twisted some, he spotted the mostly white fox and smiled at him. "Who said I was hunting?" He looked down and noticed the rabbit, his mouth hung open at the thought of a nice plump juicy rabbit to eat.
He wiggled his way out of the bush and cocked his head at the other fox. Not one to sit still for very long, he began to tap his paw. "I am looking for something. Its in the forest and that's about all I know." It didn't hurt to say why he was there, besides nobody really taught him any different.

Dakari blinked. Once, twice. Three times. "You're looking for something. In the forest. Do you even know which forest, or even what you're looking for?" Despite the harsh words there was the tiniest stirring of pity in Dakari's heart. This fox seemed like just an overgrown kit. He couldn't tell with the bushy coat in the way, but Dakari was willing to bet this fox could stand for a few good meals judging from the way he stared at the rabbit.

Bruiser cocked his head. "Yup, I am looking for something. All I know is that when I find or see it, I will know that's what I was looking for."
He had the urge to keep moving, so he stood up and shook out his coat. "The feeling lead me here to this forest. So it has to be in here somewhere." His eyes kept looking down at the rabbit. That was a long chase after the rabbit and he hadn't eaten in a few hours. "By the way I am Bruiser. May I know who you are?"

"Name's Dakari." With a suffering sigh he turned and kicked the rabbit with his back foot. He had good aim; the body moved three feet in the direction of Bruiser. "Help yourself, I prefer younger meat anyway."
He wasn't sure if he wanted to waste his time digging out the rabbit burrow Bruiser had been so intent on. He could always find another meal on his way home, it wasn't like he was hurting for a meal or anything.

He watched as the rabbit moved towards him. "You sure? I can always scare something up to eat, Dakari."
Bruiser was happy either way. His tail waving in the air, maybe the fox was what he was to find. He shrugged his shoulders, it didn't really matter. He was on an adventure and it would bring him to what he was looking for. "Can I help you with anything? Maybe that is what I am doing here." His whole body wiggled with eagerness to do something, besides eating, which it was wanting first.

Dakari shrugged his shoulders. "So can I. Small game usually isn't too hard to rustle up around here." He turned his head to look at the male. Help him with something? Did Dakari need help with anything?
"I don't know," he answered honestly. "I think I was just wandering with no real plan or anything."

His eyes widened. "I think I was meant to find you. Maybe you can help me." His body shook with hope. He really didn't know how to hunt, most of the time his food came from surprising small rodents and they don't fill one up very well.

"Help you with what," Dakari asked, infusing his voice with disinterest and lethargy. The male usually tried to keep some sort of distance between himself and others with his sarcastic nature. Just cause he wasn't violent didn't mean he was naturally friendly or anything.
