This is a PRP between Zeeke and Sato Shibuya. No posting unless invited to do so. Thanks.
--------------------------------------- Sato had been contemplating going on an adventure for a while, the wild was calling her and although she loved her sister and father dearly she felt that there was something missing. Part of her knew she didn't want love, she watched every day as her father Ehren thought with the betrayal he felt towards their mother- she had simply disappeared one day while pregnant. He had been lucky though, fate had been kind and sent a skinwalker his way, the beast had stole Sato and her sister as baskets and thanks to her fathers bravery he had saved them- eventhough he didn't know they where even his, such realisation only happened as they grew. He recognised the symbol on her chest as it echoed that on his face, and her sister Arabelle had inherited the markings of their mother. In many ways Sato and Arabelle where like ying and yang, her sister was very pure of heart and in Sato's opinion far to much of a goody goody. Sato on the other hand was stubborn, and although she prided herself on kindness and rightousness she knew it was often outshone by her other side. Either way Sato was happy with herself, she was a confident young mare after all. She knew she was hot, with a killer body of sleek lean muscles, she was not blind to the stares of those who crossed her path... but she wanted more. Needed more. Needed... something? She just didn't know what! That was why she had left, snuck out to be more percise. She hadn't had the heart to tell her father, fearing it would break his heart to see her go. Sato knew she would return one day, just not which day it would be. Maybe once she had travelled for a while, answered the call of the wild she would be happy to live with her father in his cave again? Who knew. Sato was a great believer in fate, she knew that they would see her on the right path. That was of course until she found herself in her current situation. She had been walking around the edge of the forest, fearing its unknown depths in the dark of night when she had lost her footing and landed strangely on her right wing and through the ground to land in a heap at the bottom of a hole. It was embarassing, and already Sato was cursing her own stubborness about flying at night. Standing to her feet she tried her best to stretch her wing, it stung painfully and although she couldn't see it in the dull darkness of the whole she knew it was broken. Just great. She wanted to scream and shot and.... and.... and ATTACK SOMETHING!! Her anger was like a beast inside her, and although she knew there was no one but herself to blaim for her current situation she couldn't help but think she had become a fool for the fates, maybe they where bored and just wanted something to laugh at? She let out a thick breath before looking up, she could see the stars and the tops of several trees, she could almost make out the edge of the hole she had stumbled into but not much of the walls that surrounded her. Great, just great. Placing her hooves on the wall of the hole she tried everything she could think of to get out. She pulled, she dugged, she tried to wedge herself and manover herself up.... but nothing worked. Short of her flying out of here there was no way she could get out on her own. "Drats." She cursed, as she tried to stretch her broken wing out. That just caused her to yelp in pain before she caught herself. Nope.... it was definatly not going to be any help, and the last thing she needed right now was to draw attention to her situation. The world was not safe at night, under the blanket of darkness the most evil and vendictive of all the creatures of the world lived and played, she didn't want to become a toy for one of them. Again and again she tried to escape. Each time she become more and more covered in dirt and worms and flies. When this was all over she would need a bath... a nice long soak. Slowly she lowered herself to her feet, adjusting her tried and painful wing. Just a little rest.... just a little....

NOTE
Quote: Zeeke cannot turn in to a human and when he does so through the RP just use your imagination. He is a horse, manages to escape, has a moment with Sato AS A HORSE and runs away with her AS A HORSE. NOT HUMAN. Sorry, a mistake made through the old species description being vague. Sorry. Zeeke honestly should of seen what was coming. The first time he stayed out later than usual, risking the speech that his parents or in fact Neria was gonna give him would result in him not returning at all. His four graceful wings spread out, drifting in cool beats throughout the air over the forest of claws and teeth. Where the Shadowmoon clan await at bay for their most important battle yet. He looked over them, the thoughts of Evan's training flooded his mind. How did such a little runt become that popular? He was older than him and much more talented. He grunted. He was NOT jealous. Or maybe he was. His spotlight had been swiftly stripped from under his feet, the red carpet only glowing where the emo pony walked. Ugh. His idea of keeping his problems deep down had resulted in staying away as much as possible for some alone time. He shook his head. They had their work to do, a herd to maintain since everyone was now at their peak for trying for children and he, was still a child himself in a way. He hadn't had those thoughts. There was too many games to play and win, too much fun to be had... Really, was that all his life was? Teeth gritted, he lowered and as his decent almost clasped his hooves upon the ground. The sounds of struggling called out in to the night. His ears perked in alarm, sweeping for the voice. It was a woman. Ah this was entertaining. He landed with gentle taps, his wings fluttered out in one last stretch with bell chimes fleeing with them. They retracted to his sides and allowed him to walk towards the muffles and the desperate cries. "Now who do we have here?" He asked aloud, rolling his eyes as they slipped down the hole towards a... ASTONISHINGLY BEAUTIFUL KIRIN!? Now, out of all his days, he had never come across nor seen something as beautiful as full of life as he was being dawned with now however, it was pitiful. A butterfly in venus fly trap he thought with a slightly amused expression. He lowered his head, staring down with the two sealed black pools. "Awww how did you get down there petal? You poooooor thing." He teased, grinning much like a Cheshire. "I really should help you. Shouldn't I? Hmmm... Tempting buuuut-" He paused, eying the dark silhouette.

Sato had stopped struggling by the time a voice reached her, looking up she saw a face of white and pure black eyes. Doing her best not to react she simply blushed a little. There was something almost alluring about those eyes, yet at the same time she was afraid of them -surely such eyes would only be present on a creature born of the night?
She shivered slightly from the cold and pulled herself up in one strong yet elegant movement, ignoring the pain that shot though her from her broken wing, she wanted to wince and cry out in pain but she wouldn't make herself an even better target. She looked up at the face again, it was strange how the white of his face -and it was obviously a HE from the way he spoke and appeared, stronge jaw and of course those alluring yet menacing eyes- seemed to remind her of the moon. Especially with the night sky and the stars surrounding him, she found herself wondering what his whole body would be like? Would he be covered in yummy muscles? Or.... NO! She stopped herself thinking like that. What breed was he? He had wings on his head.... but they seemed different some how. She knew Angeni's had wings on their head, but surely one of their kind wouldn't simple watch and torture her so?
Sato had always been a stubborn creature, believing that she was strong enough to create her own path and to get herself out of trouble. It had worked so far but.... she just couldn't say it, not even to herself. She did not need help, she had to convience herself of that fact. Even covered in dirt and feeling utterly out of her depth -in more ways than one- she spoke with a determined glint in her eye and a courage in her voice that she didn't fully feel. "No thank you. I can do it... you can just go back to..." she paused for a moment and tilted her head, "...well whatever it is you do."
"AND!" She started almost as an afterthought since she was so worked up about being stuck with a broken wing, "My name is not petal." As she tried yet again to pull herself free, to climb, and dig, and use her teeth to pull and tug on any roots that she could see - she grumbled slightly to herself saying things like 'I am not a pooooor thing..... men.... they think they know everything.... why did I have to fall down a hole? *grumblegrumble*' Her words where all mumbled, low and soft. So much so it was unlikely her guest could hear them.
Once again her efforts seemed pointless. She was covered in dirt -such a horrible thing- and felt utterly exhausted and dirty. She sighed softly and turned around in an effort to see anything she could use that could help her get free. She could make out the white roots of several plants but as she had learnt already they where too shallow and she pulled them free easily.
It seemed hopeless.

Ha! Such a stubborn little mare she was. How she refused to let help aid her, or how she pushed aside his little teasing to push herself with self motivation just to prove him wrong. He digged that she wasn't the shy, coy little girl. Too polite and innocent. She had fire, something he could be entertained by and have a little bit of fun with at the same time. He lifted himself to a proud stand and circled the hole like a shark, waiting for the moment to strike, when it's meal would be most satisfying.
"Sorry no can do, miss feisty." He retorted, protesting.
"Aww but petal suits you soooo well, babe." He continued to tease. "I guess I have a few names to go through guessing yet though." With a chuckle, he kept an eye out for vicious, threatening presences and the shadows that remained in the shade of the surrounding trees. He would keep her safe even if she didn't need to know that.
She continued to fight away at the hole, trying to gt out of it but he noticed in the dim light of her struggles, that she was winged and that something else was bothering her. He became a little concerned over her and guilt tugged at him somewhere inside. Even if he wanted to, he couldn't leave her alone in the night. Not now. How did she come across the natural trap?
All these questions were pushed to one side as he paused in his circling and stopped to look down once more.
"You sure? You could be there allll night at this rate. If that's... The best attempt you got?"

Miss Fiesty? Well that was one she had never been called before, she supposed it was tolerable... yet wrong on so many levels. She grunted, rather unlady like but she was far to pained and stuck to care much right now, the fact that dirt was clinging to her made her feel anything but a lady. She looked up at him and sighed softly, if only she was the one up there. She sighed once more and walked around the hole again. Looking for something different. Maybe a tree had sprouted in the ten seconds it had taken her to turn her back. Of course that would never happen, she could always wish though. Maybe while she was at it she should wish for a tree to grow and knock her would-be-saviour out. May give her some peace to think.
Deciding that arguing with him was actually keeping her calm -not that she would ever let him know that- she quiped; "Well I am not a flower, so petal doesn't suit me. If you like it so much I shall call you it from now on though... how does that sound Petal" She said the word Petal with as much malice and anger she could muster, which was probably not very much under the circumstances. "I am going to ignore the babe comment." She mumbled softly before sighing again and trying once more to climb out. Front hooves raised high into the edge of the hole as she tried will all her might to move. Nothing happened... of course! This was turning into a nightmare. Her wing continued to throb with pain and all she wanted to do was soak her tired muscles. She should have flown... why didn't she? It suddenly seemed silly her little self-ban about flying at night. Could have saved her one hell of a disaster.
Grinding her teeth she plopped back to the bottom of the hole, she closed her eyes for a moment in an effort to compose herself. If she could just think.... surely she could get herself out of this mess.
After a while she said, "As for my name, you will never guess it. I would bet you anything on that." Afterall her name was Japanese like her fathers, a language few seemed to know here. Her name meant sugar... but being called Sugar would annoy so much she would probably scream.
Once again she tried to fight her way out of the hole, but with each attempt she realised she was simply wearing herself out. Dangerous for two reasons, if she was stuck here she would be easy prey, if she got out of here she would be easy prey. Either way she will be doomed. Great. She cursed lightly under her breath before looking up at the stranger who spoke once again, before she even thought of the answer she spoke, "Well, if I am boring you so feel free to leave at any time." Ok, so it may not have been such a good idea to say that -after all he hadn't harmed her or killed her.... unless he just wanted to play with his meal first.
How had she managed to get herself into such a mess?

With little to no resistance, the ivory stallion laugh at her 'petal' comment. "Who knows, maybe I'm the kind of guy that likes being called, wierd girlie pet names." Though really, that would get annoying in his opinion, she wouldn't be let on and for now it was just a game. Always a game...
That's when he noticed the edges in the soft hues of the moonlight. Upon the grooves that her hooves had made, were other marks. Scratches. He grit his teeth behind the sealed lips. Not allowing his distaste to reach the already unsettled kirin beauty. His constant irritating her/ flirtatious arguing would keep her distracted long enough for him to work out a solution before the real predator came back for it's delicacy. With a stern gulp, he was ready to continue. He could of left her but then, what kind of charming, young, handsome stallion would he be?
Shifting the massive grin to torment her further. "I could leave you, all alone but you would miss me too much sweetheart. You would regret the moment I left and be longing for me forever more. The mysterious midnight stranger." He chuckled, flicking his sights to the surroundings. There were a few stray sticks, rocks and terrain used for bedding but nothing that screamed useful and he couldn't leave her. There would be only one thing he could do, without rendering her a floundering chicken for dinner.
"Orly? I mean you could tell me your name, or I can call you nice booty, sex on legs, princess pookykins-" He stared down the bottom, remaining insanely still.
"Did you hear that!?" He whispered, lowering his head in an alarmed demeanor.

Sato felt her heart pounding in her chest, what was wrong with her -except her obvious situation, exhaustion and well.. HELL like situation she had found herself in. "I think Petal suits you, maybe a little too much." She smiled sweetly at him before continuing, "...I actually thought you where a girl. You are right? Far to pretty to be a boy." She teased and tormented as good as she got, even if she was starting to get tired. Maybe she should just conceed defeat and ask for his aid.... or not.
He kept looking away and that made her nervous, what could he see up there? Was he simply waiting for someone to join him so that they could finish her off? Or was someone else there? Someone that even this smart-mouthed stallion feared? Her heart skipped a beat.
Then he spoke to her again, and although she didn't want to think about it her heart actually fluttered and skipped a beat as he turned back towards her and spoke. She didn't know what to say, and so just laughed. It was a sweet, exhausted laugh, but a laugh none the less. "Keep dreaming Petal."
Then his onslaught of names began. She chocked back a sound of distasted, nice booty? Sex on legs? Princess Pookykins? What in the world was a Pookykins? She grunted a little and then sighed in defeat. She needed his help. Maybe she should just ask and get it over with.... but she couldn't bring herself to. Instead she said, "Call me what you want. My name is Sato... Sato Shibuya... not that it matters anymore."
Then she went still, there was something in his tone. Something in the wind. And now that he mentioned it she was sure she had heard something not too far away... a twig had snapped. Not exactly surprising in the dark but still important. This had been such a bad idea. She should have stayed at home with her father and sister. She nodded softly to him and whispers in reply, "Yes...." she gulped softly, "...get out of here." She would not be responsible for his life. And although she was still unsure about him, something deep within her told her that he was not a killer. If anything he had been trying to protect her, now it was her turn. Her life for his.

"Keep talking~" He uttered under his breath at all of her remarks. Petal? Was she really calling him that now? He sighed inwardly and then when she finally spoke, after his freaking her out had all kicked in and she was on edge his heart sunk. Like a shattering glass. She had heard something? Now that she mentioned it, he listened closely to the wind, to the world around them for the sounds of motion when there was nothing. Nada, it was silent. Creepily silent. Eerie.
Nori. It was the only thing he came to a conclusion with. Scratches, the alternating grooves, the silence. A predator of precision which toys with it's food and lives on preys fear. Even he would hate to admit it but he could never face him and win. This was his forest and anyone intruding didn't live to see daylight.
He shook his head and turned to face her. He had never felt such a feeling, to be totally willing to throw your life away for someone else.
At least now, he knew her name.
"I'm staying..." He protested. "From whatever may be here, or whatever will happen. I won't let you be harmed." He spoke softly, a genuine smile offered to her then, like a changed man he threw his head up and laughed. "Right babe, I was only kidding with you nothings here. I didn't hear anything." If only he was that sure of himself.

"I have nothing to say..." she mumbled softly and tried her desperate attempts to escape once more, again and again she was unable to get out. She felt tears burn her eyes, she wanted to cry, to scream, to stomp... but she couldn't bring herself to let go enough to do so. Instead she gave up her struggle and looked to the ground for a moment. Then after several moments, when it was obvious he wasn't going anywhere she spoke again. "You are a terrible liar Petal."
Then, before he could reply she added. "Please... help me get out of here before whatever is up there decides to make a midnight snack of us both." It was the hardest thing she had ever done, go against what she wanted, go against everything she believed... yet here she was, begging for help. How pathetic. She sucked.
Taking in a deep breath she looked up at him again, her eyes slightly wet with tears and her heart pounding deep within her chest.
Deciding she prefered him with his attitude she said, "So petal... what is your name? Or do you want me to call you petal forever? Not that it makes a difference to me.... I just may start seeing you in a whole different light if you prefer Petal."

Zeeke realized how much of a sucker he was for big, watery, pleading puppy dog eyes as she stood there helpless looking at him with mercy; a light blush on his cheeks. If it wasn't for the situation he would of been extremely in paradise right now, adding in with a few extra words and scenes, but alike non the less!
"M-my names Zeeke." He smiled before shaking his head to dismiss all of the terrible ideas that filled it and made a head motion for her to move towards the side. He was gonna jump down, the original plan and help her climb straight out of it. It should run smoothly, after all he didn't show off and train doing stunts all day for nothing! He had never tried anything in a small enclosed space with no way out either before. He sighed, then taking a deep breathe he walked forward, spreading out his four wings trying to let them guide his fall so he didn't hit the bottom in a tangled mess.
The sides scratched them, tattered them and hurt his muscles but when he landed with a thud, his attention and gaze swiftly moved to close the distance between them.
"Hey there pretty lady." He greeted, a smile on his lips. "Did fate bring us together or are you a devil in disguise?" chuckling, he lowered himself to a crouch.
"Jump on my back, I'll lift you up so you can climb out and escape." It sounded easier than it was but as always he was acting before thinking.

Zeeke? It suited him. Strangely. She didn't know what it meant, and made a note to ask him later... maybe. It would depend if they actually managed to get out of this mess. Something she was trying very hard not to think about. Though one thing kept cropping into her mind again and again, why was he still here? Why was he helping her? Did he expect something of her....? She tried to push that away.
Then he jumped down into her little hole of hell, she watched him her mouth a gasp. Shock evident on her features, "What are you doing? Are you crazy?" She hissed at him, backing away slightly. She couldn't see much in the dark, and as he had jumped above her all she had seen was a shadow of darkness... and wings? Maybe? AGH! Why did she care? What difference would it make? Then his words struck her like a hoof to the chest and she let out a heavy breath before looking at the shadow that was now his face, she could just make out his outline, and a few features.... nose... mouth... but not his strangely alluring eyes. Too black that they blended perfectly to the darkness of her hole. Great, now she was calling it her hole. What next?
"Are you always so...." she hesitated for a moment to pick the right word, "....charming?" Right now she felt anything but pretty, covered in dirt with a broken wing that was stinging and aching as a constant reminder to her stupidity. She was only glad that the darkness hid her blush.
Then he said the most... riddiculous thing, so much so that she snorted a laugh at him before she controlled herself and coughed softly. "Excuse me?" Had she just heard correctly? What was his thinking? "I will hurt you, you silly man." Why was she so against hurting him? Surely just getting out of this bloody hole was worth a little pain? Right? Drats... she was tired and losing it.

"Crazy? I've never thought about it." He smirked until he turned his head to see her side. Her wing, it was mangled and deformed but the other was fine, graceful and sleek. Had she injured it in the fall? Even worse, broken it? Ouch. That could be a problem. He was hoping they would stabilize her since that has a good inflict with balance. He stared up at her and could only offer her a warm smile.
"Start calling me your guardian angel and maybe I'll start to believe it." He laughed lightly. Why was he being this way towards her? His entire being felt like it was being restrained. Conflicted against being such a usual jerk. He didn't know her or how to react to this sudden change but so far, it looked like it was comforting her with this new found mixture of attitude and he was somehow really glad.
Silly man? His ears flattened and he pouted. "Do you have a better idea princess?" He raised his brow at her, surprised she wouldn't be rushing to get out of this mess. What was she so afraid of?

"I don't imagine a crazy person would know they where crazy? Wouldn't they just think it was all normal?" She smiled softly and then giggled slightly. Nerves probably. Why in the world was she nervous? Drats this whole situation was going from bad to worst.
She couldn't help but smile at him, despite the fact she was trapped and had had to beg for his aid in a situation she had foolishly got herself into. How stupid was she? Did she seriously feel the need for more punishment? Afterall she was not under any delusions that this stallion was likely a player, with his charm and attitude. Most likely a looker too... otherwise why keep up the bad boy act? Instead of speaking her mind, and to distract herself she spoke playfully. "Well act like a guardian angel Petal and get me out of this hole and maybe I will." I can be very grateful. She didn't dare say it, but something whispered inside of her and she couldn't help but think it. Seriously, what was wrong with her? She was embarrased at herself. She had let this stallion get under her skin... and worst than that, she didn't even know him or what he looked like. All she knew was that he was fun to play with.
"Don't call me princess, you're not my father." She snapped without really meaning to. Instead of looking at him she turned away and looked around, now they where both in this hole there appeared to be very little room. So much so she could feel his warm breath rasping against her skin, could feel the brief ripples in the air with each movement he made. She was aware just how aware she was of his presence, it was like he was all around her. Scent and all. And she couldn't think past it, it was like a drug.... she liked it.
Trying to ignore her own insanity she looked back at him, with a broken wing she wasn't going to be able to do much. So yet again she had to trust him, had to put her faith in his plan and ability. She really was in hell. "I..." she started, biting her lip slightly from her nerves, "...guess we should try your plan. You never know, it may work."

"Maybe not." He grinned as he listened to her. "Perhaps I am just crazy but I think that's why you like me so much." He teased, playfully as he watched her. Waiting for her to make a move. 'She's stalling.' He thought, with wonder. Why would she? He had no idea what she was thinking, she was a strange one yet everything about her so far had a flare of cuteness.
He had to restrain a blush. He had never ever blushed so much in his life. Not around a girl anyway...
When she snapped, his eyes widened slightly and he blinked, staring at her, eyebrows knitting together. "W-whoa, sorry. Did I strike a nerve there?" He just smirked and shook his head lightly before turning his cautious gaze to the entrance of the hole, it was still quiet but a few rustles sounded here and there, causing his ears to flicker and his body pause on the spot.
"I guess you should." Well what else was she gonna do? He rolled his eyes slightly. It's like getting ready, girls take forever when guys don't really care. When she finally agreed to climb up on him, he lowered himself further until she had climbed up, watching the struggle he tried to be as careful as he could, out stretching his wings to help her keep her balance. Then he lifted. It was all up to her to get herself out now.
He hoped there was nothing up the top waiting to strike, if there was he would have to move quickly to be on the safe side. Maybe he was her guardian angel? After all, he had come across here and heard her just at the right time and his mother always said their kind has a way of being guided through life and destiny. Though he stopped thinking about it when he remembered what the next thing his mother spoke of.
"Be careful." He uttered to her softly, looking behind his shoulder at her.

Sato looked away from him as he spoke to her, she was embarrassed that she had snapped at him, but for some reason she had never liked anyone other than her father Ehren calling her that. Strange. "Sorry..." she whispered, she really didn't like being so... well, moody. But this was a despressing situation and the pain was starting to become unbarable.
Moving on swiftly she set herself to the task at hand, "If I hurt you tell me...." she wanted to say more, but what? Thank you for saving me, I though I was dead? If I hurt you I will just have to kick you harder for calling me princess? Playful, arrogant, other? GAH! Why was she thinking about it so much?
Deciding it was best to just concentrate on the task at hand she carefully placed one hoof on his back, being extremely careful of his wings. He definatly had wings, she just couldn't see them properly in the light and wasn't entirely sure how many he had. Slowly she pulled herself up so that all four hooves where on his back and rump, she tried to distribute her weight evenly so that she didn't knock him off balance or injure him. She spread her good wing out to help balance herself and did her best to possition her other one to and stretch it so she could help balance some more. It stung like a b***h, she wanted to scream and cry but wouldn't do that. Not after she had made a fool of herself already.
As he started to raise her up she felt herself wobble suddenly, she adjusted her good wing in an effort to catch her balance. "Oops...." she said softly, she was sure she had clipped his wing with her hoof when she was wobbling. Clumsy fool. Slowly but surely she started to see the rim of the hole, it wasn't too far above her and she noticed it would not be too hard to get up. "...hold still." She mumbled as she started to raise her self up one hoof at a time. She looked around, her front legs now out of the hole while her rear legs where still on him. She just wanted to check there was no one there, check there was no imidiate danger. She could still hear the faint crackling of leaves and the snapping of twigs every now and then. Her ears twitched nervously picking up all the sounds she could.
Once she decided it was clear she pulled herself up, trying to resist using him as a spring and pushing down on him. It was hard work pulling with her front legs but she managed it after a moments struggle. She closed her eyes, enjoying the breeze and the freedom. It felt... nice. Remembering her hero she looked into the hole and smiled softly, "so hot shot.... can you get yourself out? Or do you need a good woman to help you?" She winked playfully. Either way she knew he would have to do it quickly, whatever was stalking this spot was getting closer, she was sure of it.
