i personally prefer the Japanese voices because they made Allen sound too mature XD and Kanda's voice is a bit low... O.o lol

I would totally reccomend the english dub. And, I am so tired of hearing that the dubbed version of D.Gray-man sucks! To be honest, I luv the dubbed version! And I mean come on! Do you guys really think that Funimation can match the voices exactly in english! scream The voice actors did their best job to portray the characters as best as they could and I think that every dubbed voice suited every character. So stop comparing them to the Japanese versions! So what! stressed I mean, come on, they're not that bad! I mean, just because they sound different from the Japanese version doesn't make it bad. smile And besides, I think they did great and I respect everyone's opinion, but sweatdrop I think you guys should really appreciate how hard Funimation and the voice actors had to work just so we could have an english dub smile

I think it depends on to which version you hear first. To me I heard the english dub first, then when i ran out of english dub episodes and was stuck watching the japanese dub, it took me along time to get used to the japanese voices. So either one is good in my opinion! 3nodding

Same thing happened to me when i was watching One Piece and Bleach. With the exception of those 2 I dislike switching between English and Japanese voices so I stick with what I started watching it in.
