Karis was in her home, her wonderful sand home. She loved how the rooms were coming together. She had the normal ones complete. Everything was made out of sand. She walked out with her pail and sat it down in the sand. She stretched her legs out and walked into the water and started swimming a bit. The cool water splashed against her fur.

Leana had recently discovered the beach and bounded down happily, kicking up sand and searching for pretty seashells. She plopped down just at the edge of the dry sand, looking out at the water, her eyes going wide when she saw what appeared to be a fox out there. She stood up, trying to get a better look, "Hey you!! What are you doing???"

Karis looked up from swimming. "Oh hi there." She said happily. "Well i am swimming, enjoying this lovely morning. What are you doing?" She beamed happily.

Leana cocked her head questioningly, "But you can't see the end, aren't you afraid of disappearing??" She kept glancing at the horizon line where the water just kept going.

Karis giggled a bit, "Of course not, Scout and Splash are constantly watching me when I'm in the water. If i get hurt or something happens, they are right at my side to rescue me. The water does go far but I know i am safe." She paused and looked at her, "Why don't you dip your paws in the water and enjoy it?" She smiled sweetly as the sun rose to a new position.

Leana got up, still watching the water, "Scout and splash??" She scooted closer to the water and dipped her paw in when a wave came close, wrinkling her nose with a small giggle before she splashed into the water, staying where she could still touch the sand, but splashing happily.

Karis giggled, "Yes my two sea friends. A mother and her son, dolphins. I rescued Scout when trappers and sharks wanted him for his fat." She looked at the sky.. "Lunch time...Would you like some lunch before I go deep sea hunting for seashells?"
