After their hunt, Amber and star go around, looking for loners, so far all they found were themselves, this time would be different because Onyx would be coming with them, since he was growing out of pup age. So they all started to go west, into an old area that no-one has claimed as their own, because it was a passing, like road where everyone would use while going from one place to another. There were plenty of those, this one they chose because it was more even, easier for Onyx to keep up.

"So, how do you like this so far Onyx? we are pretty far from home and very far from where we found you, well Star found you before I did." She smiled looking side ways at the slowly going Onyx, jumping over things he should be going under.

Onyx attempted to jump a large log, failing, landing on his back. "Dammit, I can't get over the big ones yet." He whined, then tried to go under, but couldn't fit, he dug abit, still couldn't fit. "Dammit!" He finally goes all the way around it, running to catch up with Star and amber. "Wait for me!!"

"Onyx, calm down, we don't abandon our friends, you are always in ears distance. If you weren't we would head back for you." Star smiled at the now sprinting pup. "You will never be left behind, ever again, I rest my life on that."

Onyx looks up into stars Eyes and seen they looked like she was sincere, so he stopped being so paranoid. "Okay we;ll, I'm gonna look over there, so we are more spread out, Okay?" He looked at amber seeing she was smiling made him smile and he barked, because he was getting hyper.

"Sounds like a good Idea Onyx, be careful tho." She then went back to smelling all the scents that came to her, a pack had not come through, but she could smell a faint smell of female. "Must have been a loner around here..."

"Yes I smell her too, it smells like she gave birth around here, its very faint, she cleaned up well. And the scent is old, maybe 2 or 3 days old?" She looked towards Onyx to make sure he was looking well enough, and he was. He was going back and forth thoroughly. Star had a feeling Onyx was going to find something, she wanted to take over, but this is what must be done for him to grow up and learn. "Everyone, look for a pup, I think someone abandoned a baby, I have a feeling this mother wasn't very motherly at all."

"Really, another baby? this is strange time of year to be abandoning young ones. What is wrong with these mothers." She had no idea how a mother can abandon a baby so young. Don't they have hearts at all? Even her mother, the outcast never abandoned her.

"Some mothers have too many pups and abandon the weakest behind, because they can't feed them. That's why we look so often, just in case, so we keep the small ones from dying." The scent got stronger, this mother had cleaned up here as well.

"I smell something Star!! I think a baby is near." He looks around then see's some purple hair. "I found a baby Star!!!! I FOUND ONE!!" He ran to it, it was a she and she was very tiny, he put a paw on the little girl, she wasn't as warm as she should be, but he felt a heart beat. "She's cold Star..."

Star ran toward Onyx, seeing the little baby broke her heart, she was a lil pink and purple baby. "Out of the way Onyx, good job" She nudged the baby with her nose to see if she could wake it, the baby moved a bit then yawned, with a little shiver.

The little girl stirred, yawning more, then opened up her eyes. "h-hello, have you see my momma an brothrz?" The little on rolled onto her feet looking around. "They left me behind, why? Wherz momma?" She began to cry. "I mizz my momma!"

"Hush hush lil one, I will take over for your mom from now on, whats your name" She laid next to the lil girl, then pulling her closer into the warmth of her body. The mother must have cared, if she cleaned up this much, she must have loved her very much but couldn't take care of her.

"Roze quartz.... momma called me that" she fell into Stars body and felt the heat, it felt so good, so nice and warm, she stareted to feel tired. She was fighting to keep her eyes open now. Roze yawned and passed out in the nice warm heat from this new ....mom?
