Sitting wide awake on the futon, the noble retainer was shaking with rage. His eyes were on the sleeping figure in the other corner of the room, on the one who had brought him here. The one who had caused this glorious mess.
Kyung pulled the blanket off and unsteadily got to his feet, wincing ever so slightly as a dull jolt of pain shot through his stomach. The area where Huang had punched was tender; a light green hue blossoming under his pale skin. In his battle earlier he had taken his jacket off and it seemed as though it was still lying on the ground at the cherry tree hill. If his father found that jacket, all hell would break loose in the Tae household. The thought amused him, but he had a more important matter to deal with at the moment. He took in a low breath as he stood up straight and let his eyes examine the room.
It was both unique and foreign. Certainly not a place Kyung was familiar with, but the overall layout was one he rather liked. It was almost like his own room except this one felt more confining. There was only one window and it was also the only source of light. He could feel an eerie calm washed over him as he stared at the oculus in the ceiling. There were doors to the side, but the noble retainer would refrain from trying to break out of the room for the moment. For one, he didn't know where he was and two, he had a good feeling that he was deep inside the bowels of a legion lair.
But, the simplest reason was he still had a bone to pick with the young man who had put on a facade of being his 'friend.' Looming over the sleeping legionnaire, Kyung knelt so that his eyes were at the same level as Huang's. What to do? He wanted to wake the boy up in a jolt without drawing attention.
Kyung's eyes narrowed ever so gently as his hand reached for Huang's neck. Choking would be a fitting punishment for this person. Leaning closer in, Kyung could also feel the warmth emanated by Huang's sleeping body. Slender fingers had just made contact with the Legionnaire's throat when the boy suddenly froze.
He was seeing doubles. Blinking furiously to clear his vision, he moved his hand to grab the legionnaire's neck when instead, the slender digits grabbed the wine colored scarf and gave it a violent tug.

"I wouldn't bother him yet..." Xiao walked in to see the patient that his brother had brought into his chambers currently death gripping Huang's scarf. It was kinda of amusing besides the fact that the other boy seemed to be faint. Xiao sighed as he came over and bent down to Kyung and Huang's level.
"This is the first time he has rested peacefully enough, even with a unknown person in the room." Xiao said with hush tones as he brushed Kyung's hands away from Huang before picking up his little brother and placing him on the makeshift bed he had made for Kyung.
"Since your up and about, i will keep him here till he awakens. Would you like to join me for tea in my dining chamber?" Xiao looked over to Kyung and frowned, the other boy didn't even seem in the best shape to keep himself upright but Xiao wouldn't enforce himself to keep the boy back in the bed, "Do you have a preference for tea? I will have to send out for the maid to get it..." Xiao sighed as he remember the limited staff he had kept around now. Ever since Huang brought this boy home, He had to thin out his mother's personal spies in his dorms. He looked to Huang again and felt his forehead, a slight fever but he always got those when going through stress.

The noble retainer was silent for a moment as he considered the stranger's invitation. Tea was appealing. However, given the current situation, it seemed inappropriate. Furthermore, there was also the matter that this man, who clearly had relation to Huang-Fu, might harbor malice. Though Xiao's demeanor was closer to that of a tired person, Kyung couldn't shake off the initial suspicion. Then again, living under a spiteful stepmother did that to a person though.
"... You're about as bad as he is." The cobalt Lunarian commented dryly. "I'm not sure you understand the situation right now. That person," Kyung pointed to Huang, "had the nerve to knock me unconscious and bring me here against my will. What gives you the impression that I'm here to social and have tea with you? For all I know, you might as well throw some cyanide in my drink and have me dead. It wouldn't be the first time."
Kyung was aware that the man in front of him didn't deserve the snippy attitude his was getting, but the boy's patience was shot. He was hungry, angry, but most of all, tired. His last session with the doctor had been only a 3 or so days ago, and the boy was still recovering from the loss of blood from his most recent bloodletting session. The boy let out a tired sigh. "Please just show me the way to the gates so that I may return home."
He didn't want tea. He wanted to be back home in his comfort zone where he didn't have to think about this mess that was brewing right in front of his eyes.

Huang shifted in the makeshift bed, his face tight with anguish as his dreams we're plagued with the past events, "Kyung..." was all he said as he slept fitfully. Xiao studied his brother with tired concern before looking to the other boy who must be named Kyung and listened to his rant.
"Actually I am a lot worst, if it wasn't for Huang begging me to keep you here safe, i would leave you to my mother's Noble hating guards." Xiao stated bluntly, while he did take Huang's request under his wing, Xiao didn't like that his brother had come to him, tired, scared and stressed, all at the hands of this boy. "His name is Huang-Fu, at least bother to call him by his name, I tire of him being referred to as nothing less then his own person." Xiao snapped before closing his eyes and rubbing his head. The boy had a sharp tongue and even sharper wits, but in truth the situation at hand was mostly Huang's fault. This boy would just have to wait it out, and then maybe Huang will regain himself enough to realize that the feelings he had for the other boy, would never come to fruition.
"As i said, I wish for Huang to at least sleep a bit." Xiao got up after one more check on his brother and looked over to Kyung, sighing. Both of them stood awkwardly for a bit before Xiao moved again, coming to stand in front of Kyung and offered him a sad tired smile.
"If i could let you leave, i would send you on your way with sympathy gifts and a armed escort." Xiao smile turned bitter, "But as it is now, I am not the head of the family, I am only the heir..." Xiao turned to look out his doors, "I am a heir that is a obsessive possession of my mother, for she keeps me watched and under scrutiny at all times. If I was to send you out now, She would have her guards capture you immediately and torture you, just for being here with me as a unknown person. And then if you talked, Heaven forbid you say your of the Noble's alliance, she would take Huang and do it to him and then kill you both." Xiao's eyes hardened, "So for now, for the protection of my little brother, you will remain here till i figure a way out." He strode out the door and called behind him.
"I will have my maid bring you some tea and some food, your a bit pale still and i am sure you wouldn't mind a meal even though we might put cyanide in it." Xiao's voice was sarcastic but amused as he left Kyung in the room with Huang again.

Kyung watching Huang's sleeping figure with a weary eye as the boy muttered his name. The noble retainer felt an overwhelming desire to kick the sleeping figure but instead, tucked the covers tighter around his form. Huang had risked many things to bring him to a safe place. Tucking him in from getting a cold was the last thing Kyung could do in return for the boy other than strangling him for putting the noble retainer into this mess in the first place.
"... Thank you." The words were soft, barely audible yet sincere. Xiao was not liable for his safety; the man had every right to throw him outside the room right this minute. The only thing restraining him from such an action was Kyung's relationship to Huang, or rather, Huang's obscene infatuation with the noble. Strange how a mere emotion could make pull the most impulsive decisions. It was both disgusting and impressive.
He watched as Xiao disappeared into the other room and took a seat beside Huang. His legs pulled close to his body, the boy observed the sleeping figure. It was strange. He felt anger and yet, it wasn't really anger directed towards Huang. It was anger directed towards himself, anger and frustration. He liked the intimacy that had come from his friendship with Huang. To know that there was someone who understood, it was a feeling that Kyung had experienced for the first time behind that tree. He had made his first real friend and the action had made him feel real. It made him feel less as burden on the Tae family, less a b*****d and more a person. And yet, this person had tried to take the feeling away from him.
He hated how this person had taken away his sense of emotional stability with a few words and a kiss. Ugh. He had been kissed by another boy. It was disgraceful. Kyung let out a heavy sigh and rested his chin on his arms. With nothing to do, the cobalt Lunarian could only continue to replay the kiss and embrace in his mind. Again, disgraceful and unacceptable.
As the boy's stomach growled lightly, Kyung let out another heavy sigh. The sooner he was back home, the better. He'd forget everything that happened today. Though, forgiving Huang.... that was another matter entirely.

Huang could feel himself drift from his dreams to a semi state of awareness. His brother was cutting the words to Kyung yet Huang didn't want that. Stop Xiao, Huang tried to call out. It was unfair to Kyung, what Huang wrought upon him. Then again, Huang was so selfish with the other boy, he only wanted him more and more. To be his friend, to be his love. It was so selfish of him, Haung sneered in his sleep as he thought of the first thing he had ever wanted and the first person he wanted to share it with so intently.
Jianyu, what should i do? Huang thought of his master who had helped him unlock this raging emotions inside him. His master was suppose to care for him, where was he in this confusion? As Huang grunted, fidgeting in the bed, his eyes begin to flutter before opening slowly. The covers were tucked closely to him and Kyung sat right next to him. It was a sight that he didn't think was real and his instinct told him to catch this dream before he left. His hand reached up to caress Kyung's cheek before sitting up.
"Why is it that your so close yet so far from me?" Huang was still stuck in his sleep daze as he took Kyung's arm in his and bringing him closer, pulling him under him so that Huang had Kyung pinned on the bed underneath him. His head bent down to kiss, their lips a breath away before he hesitated. Kyung felt real and that broke his little sleep daze, his eyes widening as he stared into the silver mirrors that were Kyungs.
"Kyung!" Huang hoarsely gave out a surprised squeak before getting off the boy and crawling away, "Sorry....I didn't mean to..." Huang looked down before looking around the room. He had fallen asleep and in doing so, had left Kyung vulnerable to the danger that could have been lurking. He almost hit his head on the wall in idiot anguish. As he was contemplating it, the maid Xiao had sent entered and depoisted food enough for four or five people. Huang was always amazed at how much she carried.
"Thanks Jyuan." Huang smiled at her as she curtsied, of the servants she was his personal favorite. She was always kind to him and his brother and was very loyal to both of them, though he wasn't sure why she called him master when he shared the same status as he did.
"As you may Lord and..." Jyuan bowed to Kyung as well, "Other Lord. Please enjoy the meal sent by his master himself." She bowed once more before exiting in a hurry. Huang stared at the food, hot and fresh, the scents soothed and awakened Huang even more before he looked at Kyung.
"If your hungry, you should eat..." Huang stared at the food again, careful not to let himself give away that he too was hungry. He wanted Kyung to relax and to enjoy the meal, and while Huang wanted to stay and be with him, he felt that maybe Kyung would want him gone. "I will just...wait till you finish." Huang turned to stare at the wall and concentrate on his excersises. His mind not to wander and his breathing to remain stable.

Deep in thought, it wasn't until Kyung suddenly found himself lying on the floor and looking up into Huang's dark wine colored eyes that the cobalt lunarian realized his captor had awoken. A brief flicker of satisfaction flitted through the boy's chest as Huang let out a surprised speak, apologizing hoarsely as he pulled away. At least Huang had enough sense not to provoke the noble retainer any futuer. Silent to the Legionnaire's apology, he pulled himself up into a sitting position and absently brushed a hand against the sore area on his stomach. It ached when he moved.
He looked up in mild apprehension as the door slid open. Coming in was a young maid, carrying more than enough food for the two of them. Or one actually. As much as he was indebted to Xiao for not stabbing him while Huang was asleep, eating food was a completely separate matter. The young man had a set diet of soft foods, porridge and soup. It was a health issue and not a personal choice. He had to admit though, the piping hot plates were calling out his name, enticing him to take a bite.
"I'm fine."
Almost immediately after the words had left the noble's mouth, Kyung's stomach growled softly. Silvery orbs looked up to match Huang's red own, giving the legionnaire a silent order not to say a thing. It was better to starve now and eat later than eat now and be sick later. Something he had experienced one too many times in the past as a young child, and it was something he had no energy for now.
"You should eat. And when you're done eating, you should take me back home."
Surprisingly enough, the words were not laced with anger or malice. They were gentle ones. It was startling how fragile the noble seemed right now; eye besotted with a black bruise, and another one starting to yellow at his stomach. Being half clothed did nothing to ease his pitiful appearance and neither did his slender physique.
Finding the silence unnerving, he looked around before muttering something. "I hate your room." Too bleak. A prison. It held no solace for him.

Huang turned his head over at Kyung and tilted it a bit to make it so he could see the other Lunarian in his peripheral view. He could hear the soft grumble of the other's stomach and sighed. It was unusual to have Huang actually try to reason with a Noble to eat, but if Kyung didn't digest something into his body, he would probably be worst off in the long run.
Though as his eyes met Kyungs, the look the other boy gave him was a chilled do not mention anything sort. So Huang kept his mouth shut for a second before scooting closer to Kyung. Little did Kyung know, that by giving Huang permission to eat that he was allowing Huang to sit near him, regardless if the boy desired home more then his pride at this point.
"I can't take you home, Unless you want us to be killed. I am sure if Xiao was in here, that he explained the situation." Huang reached for a plate and took the smallest amount of the food he could. He wasn't sure what Kyung would or could eat and left the array of steaming hot meats and vegetables there, He even left the piles of fruit that was Huang's favorite just so the boy would choose among the selection.
"If you do not want this food, Do you have something else? I can make you something more along the basic foods, Like soup or some kind of rice porridge." Huang took a small nibble of his meat and stared at Kyung. Hadn't Kyung mentioned on their visits to the tree that his body was sickly and that was why his father kept him barricaded in their estate? Would that mean Kyung had some sort of special diet? Huang pondered this before Kyung said a bland and bleak statement.
His eye's widened, with almost a owlish demeanor at Kyung before he snorted, and then rolled with laughter. It was so expected out of Kyung that Huang could do nothing but laugh at the mere thought. He had never laughed before, Huang thought almost instantly and stopped before looking down. That was his true laugh that wasn't forced or even faked. It was as if, He felt a moment of true companionship with Kyung.
"It was of Mother's design of course." Huang looked around his room, if he knew what Kyung was thinking, He would agree in a heartbeat. His room was not meant to be something of comfort and more often then not he was outside in his small garden space he was allowed. At least there he had fresh air and space to move freely around, walking around the pond if he needed or laying against the small tree that stood as cover. Huang didn't like his room at all, but it was his room none the less and he wouldn't think of it other than that.
Getting up though, he grabbed the tray of food and looked down to Kyung, "I still have the balm from the tree when i applied to your nose, It will help with the colorization of the bruises and give you some pain relief." Huang looked from the black eye and broken bruised nose to the new coloring bruise on Kyung's stomach and sighed. So much for not hitting the poor boy, Huang really needed to learn his strength. He could see from Kyung's discomfort as well that the boy wished to have his clothes back and Huang was more happy to oblige. Seeing Kyung half naked even bruised like he was, still sent a thrum of heat in Huang's blood and until Kyung trusted and came to feel the same, Huang needed to quell those urges.
"Your clothes are being washed, but will borrow a tunic or something of the sort to keep you covered. And if you would like, I will make you something easier to eat." Huang held the tray as he waited for Kyung to reply.

Sitting there, Kyung shifted uncomfortably when Huang moved closer. Even now, a small tremor of unease flashed through his chest as the Legionnaire drew closer. His body remembered the dual blows delivered by Huang and flinched at every movement the other lunarian made, anticipating another blow. It was safe to say in all his seventeen years of being, Huang had been the first person to strike Kyung with enough force to leave such an aftershock.
Kyung was silent at Huang's remark. Yes, he knew. He had indeed talked with Xiao earlier when Huang was still asleep. Yet, the desire to return home and rest in his bed was overwhelming. To sleep and put everything that happened today behind him, that was the only he could think of. He hated this new intimacy that had developed between the two, preferring the more at ease atmosphere from their day at the tree. That had been the first time Kyung had such a moment like that, sharing his day with a friend.
Letting out a heavy sigh, Kyung massaged his temples. A terrible, terrible day. "Since you asked, I wouldn't mind it if you could bring me something light. A rice porridge would diced vegetables would be good." Looking up to see the legionnaire chewing on some meat, his stomach let out a louder grumble of discontent.
His eyes narrowed ever so slightly in aggravation when Huang let out a laugh. He failed to see what was so funny about the comment. It was almost insulting towards the noble retainer. "That laughter was unnecessary." A small scowl formed. This relaxed air was unnerving him. It was the same atmosphere he felt whenever he walked into his father's room. He hated it.
"Your mother has quite the talent for signing a prison cell." He commented dryly. To Kyung, whose very existence was confined within the Tae estates, little things like the layout of his room gave him control. His room was designed to provide him escape from the hell that was his life. It was a refuge for the young man, a way to escape the life set for him by his father. If Kyung were to live in this room, the boy would probably go crazy within a day. As a thinker, Kyung did not do well in confinement.
".... I'm fine." His eyes had followed Huang's own to the light bruise forming on his stomach. "It doesn't hurt." As if to prove his point, he gently pressed the tips of his fingers against the discolored area. The corner of his lip twitched in mild discomfort but it a subtle gesture.
A small pause followed after Huang's comment. Looking up at Huang, Kyung gave a small nod of thanks. "You didn't have to wash it. But, thank you anyways." Sensing another moment of silence coming up, Kyung slowly got on his feet after Huang. ".... I talked with your brother. It was disappointing. I had imagined him to be like one of my half brothers. Certainly, that was not the case. Xiao is a much better person than I had imagined him to be."

Huang's eye's shifted dangerously close to desperation. Kyung had shied away from him, no he had grimaced away from him. Memory of Huang's mistreatment evident not only on his poor body, but it was ingrained into his memory. it shamed Huang so deeply that he moved away again. The distance hurt him, but he could see that Kyung didn't trust or need him near, which Huang could only try to understand.
Huang looked down at the tray he held as Kyung grew quiet. It was odd not to hear a crude remark about his imprisonment here but Huang wasn't going to call it on him and let that slide over. Though When Kyung spoke his eyes widened immediately.
"Ah yes, I can handle that." Huang gave a shy smile at Kyung, secretly pleased to be able to do something for the other boy before his face went back to its usual Stoic expression. "I will try to hurry so that you stomach will be at ease." Huang looked at the boy's stomach again and the bruise before blinking at Kyung.
"Ah Sorry." Huang shifted uncomfortably under Kyung's scowl before letting a small sad smile, "That was the first time that I have ever laughed in this room." Huang mumbled, He tried not to let another laughter escape at Kyung's comment about his mother. If only he knew just how much of this house, this room, this life was a prison for Huang maybe they could relate to each other. But Huang did not want to share that burden with Kyung, even if Kyung wanted to.
"If your sure, I wouldn't apply it this time." Huang shrugged, "It is always there if you need it, i can also bring hot or cold rags to work the muscle into relaxation. If you need something then let me know." Huang tilted his head.
"Of course I did, It was dirty, your not a prisoner here exactly and I am sure you would prefer the clean smell of laundry to the dirty." Huang shrugged again, "Xiao is...Xiao is a much better person then i thought as well. Besides him, I have one more brother and a sister both you are not overly fond of me. They inherit their dislike from our shared mother."
Huang turned to head out of the room with the tray, "I will return shortly with your food unless you are up to walking. While we cannot leave this estate nor house, It is big enough for you to walk around comfortable." Huang paused before looking over again, "The servants, Myself and Xiao will do nothing besides stop you from leaving. You have free reign here until i can find a way to get you back to your home." Huang exited and headed to the kitchen. Part of him wanted Kyung to keep him company and another to let him be, Because it was hard enough with the blood in his veins around the boy.

He felt conflicted. Sitting in here in this room with Huang, Kyung wanted to climb out the window and put everything behind him. Forget everything that happened, and pretend like nothing happened; rip a page out the old notebook and start on a blank page. And yet, he could not forgive Huang for what happened today. The Legionnaire had blatantly abused their friendship. Physically and emotionally drained, the boy's eyes were on the verge of closing shut. It wasn't something he would have dislike either; it would be one way to escape this nightmare of a situation. He didn't want Huang-fu the lover. He wanted Huang-fu the friend. The listener behind the tree.
All he wanted was a friend.
Forcing his eyes open, the Lunarian spoke slowly."Huang-Fu, I am going to say this once. For my sanity and emotional stability, I am going to pretend like none of this ever happened and the next time we meet, you will not bring up the events of this morning." A wall, he had just raised a wall between Huang and himself.
He was beginning to feel more and more sluggish with each passing moment. The world was slowing down around him, and though he saw Huang's mouth moving the sounds that came out he could not comprehend. Not wanting to see rude, the cobalt Lunarian merely nodded his head at what he judged to be appropriate times.
Seeing Huang-Fu rise, Kyung attempted to do so as well but stopped when he fumbled forward. Sitting back down, he gave Huagn-Fu an apologetic look. "It is probably best if I just wait for you here. Wouldn't want to accidentally cause commotion." Waving the Legionnaire to the kitchen, Kyung closed his eyes and laid out on the floor. It was a bit cold for his taste, but a little nap while Huang was in the kitchen wouldn't hurt. Right?

Huang stared blankly as Kyung and sighed. Something broke inside him but for now, he would remain strong to keep Kyung from seeing that while Huang stoic's expression showed nothing, inside his heart was racing and his mind was reeling. To forget this whole experience, It was as if saying that Kyung didn't want their meeting to have ever happened. It hurt him, cut so deeply that Huang was sure blood would flow from his heart if it could. Getting up though, He cocked his head, stoic expression eying the weaker of the two before speaking. While he could consider Kyung's feelings, the ache of forgetting something hurt Huang. Especially since every new emotion he felt was ingraining themselves to his entire being.
"As you wish then." Huang's voice was blank as he rose and left for the kitchen. He let his body return to autopilot as he brought the ingredients for the simple porridge that would help Kyung regain his strength while he was here. his body moved quickly, dicing the small amount of vegetables as he added it to the warmed porridge before pouring a cup of his brothers tea and added a small plate of toasted bread. Balancing the tray, he carried it back to his room where Kyung was.
Slipping in quietly, he looked for Kyung and almost tripped over the small boy's frame as it laid on the floor. He was asleep, his breath light as he slept on the cold wooden floor. Huang debated on what to do before grabbing a the more thicker of furs and laying it over the boy. While he was sure the ground was hard and cold, He felt that if he moved Kyung, it would only waken and anger the boy. Especially if he was this exhausted to sleep. Huang moved the tray away from Kyung's body in case he lashed out before sitting cross legged by the boy and staring.
For now, He would enjoy a memory of their peaceful moment. While Kyung was asleep, Huang was free to let his love for the boy overflow. Better to let it now, Huang thought to himself, than when Kyung is awake and hates my entire being. He sighed as he touched the boys cheek before sitting back and watching.

As Huang laid the heavier fur over him, Kyung turned on his side to face the legionnaire's direction. It was warm and had a pleasant smell to it. Slightly woody, but there was something else he couldn't name, maybe copper. But overall, the scent was one he usually found on Huang, something comforting in its own way. Huang carried the smell of death and strength, a contrast against the noble retainer's own faint smell of sunflowers.
As he felt something brush against his face, Kyung's pale hand reached out from under the cover and curled around Huang's own. It was a gentle grasp, the kind a person might use to keep another from leaving. In sleep, feelings were a lot less confusing. By the rough calloused palms, he could roughly tell it was Huang, his friend.
Lips forming into a light smile, Kyung muttered the boy's name before letting go of Huang's hand and turning again in his sleep to face the other side.

It took everything Huang could manage not to bend down and kiss Kyung so thoroughly after the moment of sleeping weakness. It hurt him so much, to know that the only time Kyung would truly let his guard down was when he was sleeping. The tender moment of just holding his hand before Kyung had rolled over had almost broken the resolve that Huang had formed. He so badly just wanted to take him, force Kyung to be his and only his. hide him from the world where he could invest his feelings and self into for them.
The longer he sat near, the more he wanted to touch him. His hand reached up and rubbed Kyung's cheek before he scooted back. He would not do anything to cause the boy to awaken and lash out. He would not take advantage of the small sleeping form, so comfy and innocent that he wanted to sully it.
No, no. He would do something productive and something to earn the boy's trust. Getting up, he cocked his head at Kyung before smiling sadly. "I truly love you Kyung, and I will right my wrongs here." Huang bowed his head before exiting the room. His mission was to find out just how tight the guards were around. Kyung wanted to be home, then Huang would oblige his love.
---
Xiao grumbled as he was forced by Huang to sit and watch Kyung again, like a Adult watching a sleeping baby in case anything went wrong. What was it with these boys that made it so difficult for them to just be normal? Kyung aside, Xiao worried more for his brother who was courageously and dangerously putting him self at risk, just to get the other boy home. it infuriated, confused and panicked Xiao to know his brother, once known for quick, descive actions was now sloppy, unable to think and confused over this Noble boy. Xiao so badly wanted to set the guards in here, remove the boy from their home, but in doing so, he knew the repercussions from the act would be double fold. Huang would hate him AND receive the punishment of bringing a noble in their estate. So here he sat, waiting for the boy to waken again with the tray of tea and porridge Huang had made, still warm as he continually got up to warm it himself.
"You should wake soon, Noble Kyung." Xiao cocked his head as he sipped his tea, "I grow weary of caring for children."
