Well mine actually just happened a few hours ago. We had just finished marching our complete show for the first time. After we left and went back up to the stands its starts to pour down rain! We ended up running back to the Band Hall dripping and soaking wet! Some how the rain held up before we performed so that was good lol! blaugh

Oh god our show last night went so well until the end.
We were just finishing and getting back into the stands when a tuba started having a seizure ;_; it was so scary.

the worst we have had happen was about 5 people almost passed out at the same competition. It was the htotes tpoint of the day and over 100 degrees. It was a small festiva so we had a clinic afterwords, so we had to stay on the field for half an hour after we performed. By the time we were going off, half the bansd was ready to collapse, and most did or almsot did.
the second worse was at another festival when one of our percussionist had a really bad athma attack as we were walking off the field and had to go to the hospital in an ambulance...that was scary

Compared to others this is small but the worst thing that happened to me is in the middle of a song one of my springs on my flute broke. I did not notice til my solo when the one note that would squeak i had to play it. ya... it sucked... D:

We had to perform in 100 degree weather once too. Luckily no one fainted, but you could tell everyone was dying out there. Our BD made fun of us later for being so out of shape and not being able to high step in the heat.
We also got rained on once during a game, and our (white) plumes turned brown from getting wet, and started to smell really bad...so we had to throw them away afterwards x_x

Tsubaki_The_Blossom We did a performance and when we all stood up someone with a tuba stood up and knocked his stand over which made like 5 other stand fell it was funny how it was dominoes but it wasn't funny when we had to pick up all the music One time after a concert we were standing to take a bow, and the freshman next to me knocked her chair down. I was trying so hard not to laugh, esspecially when she went to pick it up and our bd looked at her and shook his head slightyl.

My school never gets foreign exchange student but for the first time in Manhattan High history, we got a Japanese student who played trombone. During our run-ons before one of our games, my baritone section leader stepped on his slide and broke his leg...we have yet to have any other foreign students...

At least you didn't get your uniform dirty though, huh. That just reminded me I got sick at a game once...not as bad as you though. I think I had eaten something weird for lunch, and after pregame show my tummy didn't feel so good...By second quarter I was just sitting in the stands feeling miserable while everyone else was standing up and playing. I couldn't even play halftime, I just held my clarinet and tried not to barf on the field while marching. Also, I had been late to morning rehearsal. And it started raining during the game. And we lost. xD So it was not a good day for me in general.

A color guard came a little too close and hit my trombone. Hard. It took weeks to get the dent out of my slide....

I once got sick at an away game...luckily the barf staye din until after halftiem, although it was kinda emarassing to barf hile mingling with the other band. The parents made me go sit in the stands the rest of the time, and i still dint feel good afterwords...

We have a jail cell prop near the 30-45 yard lines. It has three ramps. One of the baritones (not me) steped onto the ramp during our first performance.
