Gender: Female
Age: Fourteen
Faction/Race Monster - Gorgon
Personality: Being the youngest sister of a gorgon trio, Adelle tends to be an underwhelming presence when viewed around her more vibrant siblings. Quiet and seemingly withdrawn, she prefers solitude to large groups, and will avoid "polite" social interaction whenever possible. However, this tendency should not be mistaken for timidity, as she is capable of aggressive behavior, and highly intolerant of anyone who seeks to destroy her peace. If she finds violence is warranted, she isn't above dispatching it, and regularly bites off more than she can chew in the process. She is particularly defensive of her sisters and the few friends she's acquired, but her skewed sense of morality has been known to compel her to step into fights in which she has no stake. As such, she holds an intense dislike toward bullies and loudmouths, finds class clowns a waste of time, and is generally scathing toward people who don't know better than to leave her uninterrupted at crucial moments.
Typically blunt with her wording when addressed, Adelle rarely stops to consider how she must appear to others. If some poor sap can stand to be around her for more than a few minutes without pushing any of her various buttons, they may eventually be elevated to a friendly status, or at least to the point where she'll keep an eye on them.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Adelle doesn't want to end up being the runt who barks too loud and has nothing to back it up with. If this school can provide a scare-worthy curriculum, she may as well give it a shot. Also, her other two sisters were attending, and they needed someone to look out for them, right?
FEAR: Adelle can sink her hands into the earth and call up any latent ore to coat her skin. This material will shape wicked claws that can be used to tear into an opponent, much like her brass-clawed ancestors were capable of doing. Because it is unrefined, the resulting construction is brittle, and can only take so many collisions before flaking apart.
Natural Ability: Although the stone gaze is an inherent ability concerning the gorgon race, Adelle hasn't quite managed to perfect it yet. Instead, she has the ability to temporarily stun a victim through eye-contact, which typically lasts for less than a minute. The effects are largely displayed through disorientation, rather than a full freeze, and the time it takes to overcome it depends on who is on the receiving end. The professor gave a small snort as she fed the application form to the Bin. And so it began, once again. This had better not result in the same amount of property damage that the last generation of sibling's had caused. Otherwise she'd have Doctor Hyde's...hide.
"BAH!"
