Star woke up, feeling an urge to go further out today to hunt. She walked through the bush slowly, wondering if she would find something tasty today, She liked rabbit, but rabbit had no fat on it, so it really didn't taste too good. The wind blew by and caught a scent of another one of her own kind. She began to growl slowly, now walking into the scent to see if it was an enemy.

Onyx felt alone, He was lost, his family moved away and forgot about him, he started to cry. Where were is brothers and sisters, his mother and father. Did they not love him enough to take him with them? He curled up into a ball, wanting nothing but to die.

Amber smelled the boy as well, but was coming from the side left from Star, she then seen star. She stopped and stood still afraid to move. The female looked strong and powerful. She was approaching the male she had smelt. Upset, because she wanted to meet the male and become friends with her before anyone else. She quietly fallowed, staying down wind to not spook the female.

Star wondered why the male did not move, was he injured or dying? She moved more quickly, maybe she could help. She reached him and realized he was just a pup, why didn't she realize that from just the scent? She needs to work on her hunting skills. "Who are you boy, and why are you so close to my land?"

Amber was nervous, she needed more of her kind to become a pack, but couldn't find anyone. She left her home land to get away from the abuse of her parents. She was nothing to the pack, so she decided instead of turning into an outcast, she would find a new pack to join herself. She watched the cub not move when spoken to. If things got too bad, she would grab the pup and run like the wind. She was a very fast runner.

"Boy, answer me now, Who are you and where did you come from, and why are you alone?" She asked. What was wrong with this pup, is he sick? "Are you sick boy? Do you need help?"

The pup did not move. "I am not sick, I am abandoned, so kill me, I have no reason to live, I don't want to be alone."

Star began to growl and look angry. She did not like weak minded, who just let themselves die, you must stay strong no mater what. But before She could say anything, a yellow female jumped out from behind a bush.

"Don't hurt the pup! If you hurt the pup, you will have to kill me first!' She wasn't too strong, but she could try, even if she lost, at least she could say she did try.

Star stopped growling, looking directly into the blond females eyes. She knew this female was not even close to be strong enough for her. She smiled. "I was not going to hurt the boy, I was going to scold him for giving up, then take care of him. You are brave, are you alone?" She sniffed the air and could not sense any others around, but then again, the female was down wind.

"Yes I am alone, I am in search for a pack to join, but no luck so far." She felt weak, and defenseless, would she attack her now? The female was not being aggressive, so maybe she would be aloud to leave. "If you aren't going to hurt the pup, I will be on my way" She kept her eyes on the female, so the female knows she will not back down if attacked, even if she didn't have a chance. How could she be so pathetically weak.

"Do you wish to join mt pack, it is not formed yet, but I will train you in the hunt, teach you to fight and will protect you from enemies." She didn't ,mean to sound so needy, but she was in need of members.

Amber was unsure, but it has been long since she had her kind to talk to, so she gave in. "I will take you up on that offer, I have been separated from our kind for too long, even if you aren't a pack, at least it's a start. My name is Amber Wind, you may call me amber" She bowed her head submissively.

"My name is Shooting Star" She then turned back to the pup. "Get up young one, you are not alone anymore, we may not be family, but we can be friends." The boy did not move. "GET UP NOW YOUNG ONE, DON'T MAKE ME REGRET NOT DESTROYING YOU!"
