Boca patties are GREAT! 4laugh Get the tomato basil flavor, those are delicious and you won't need to add any ketchup. Ketchup is high in sugar I think....also, I wouldn't suggest tv dinners. Even if they are lean cuisine or whatever, it's a waste of money because it's expensive for the small portion they serve, and it doesn't even taste good and they're unhealthy....cram packed with sodium, it's not worth it. For that price, you could buy a large package of lean chicken or a box of noodles and make your own fresh and healthy cuisine. Everything else sounds great though.

But I'm not good at cooking. XD I almost burned down the house last time I tried to cook. Are they really that bad?

You or your mom could stock up on ingredients and make your own tv dinners instead. It's cheaper in the long run that way too.

I can make some things but not a lot, my mom also works night so I'm left to fend for myself.

How do i know the calorie intake... I don't want to go over...

What you can do is say, make spaghetti and vegetables and freeze it in individual servings. Just look up the calories in the meal the same way you would for any other meal. And I think you ought to worry a little less about going over your calorie limit. If you're making a conscious effort to eat a healthy amount, and you happen to go over by a hundred or so calories, it's really not a big deal in the end.

Maybe this can be an experience to learn more about cooking, too.

For some people the ease and convenience of a tv dinner is worth the extra sodium. Just drink some extra water and try not to make ALL of your meals from processed food like that. Way better to have a Lean Cuisine than to sit there munching on junk food because you don't know what to eat for dinner.

My only input is to check the labels on whatever spaghetti sauce you buy. Some of them, even the plain tomato and veggie varieties, contain more fat than you'd expect.

It's actually a good idea to just read the label on everything so that you can make your own decisions.
