Clothing: UH, put simply, check out the refs? Though to be honest, his outfit doesn't have to be the vest + whatever else he's wearing. I'm also okay with his Trinity Soul or winter clothes (both are linked in the refs!)
About (Personality/History/etc): Akihiko is pretty much a dork. In the game he's from, he's the cool and collected upperclassman -- or so it seems from first glance. He's the captain of the boxing team so he tends to have a flock of girls following him too. Despite how popular he is, he's a pretty insecure guy. The reason he doesn't bother asking any girls out is either because 1) They're part of his fangirl flock and he doesn't like them or 2) He's
too shy. He really doesn't know how to approach girls, so it's pretty sad (AND HILARIOUS) when he likes someone.
And a brief bit about his past: he was raised in an orphanage with his little sister, Miki, and his best friend, Shinjiro. Unfortunately, a fire broke out and -- while he and Shinjiro were both safe -- he lost Miki to the incident. Since then, he's kind of had this hero complex, and he is extremely protective of those he's close to.
Powers: Some kind of electric-based power, and maybe increased strength?
Reason for being in the asylum: :U I'm hoping this is kosher, but I wanted to say that he volunteered himself for experimentation willingly, expecting that he would get punted into the asylum as a result. The reason he wants to be in the asylum? He heard a rumor that his little sister and/or his best friend, Shinjiro, might have been taken there.
