Being older, without the shield of Usagi's experience and protection, it was easier to feel the urgency and secrecy that went with being a senshi. The dog didn't help. Neither did the fact that somewhere in Perry Westerman's almost prescient mind, he thought it would be a fantastic idea to plant a small vegetable garden outside the window of the spare bedroom. Coming and going out the front door was almost impossible, and getting back in her first-story window was not exactly easy. Couldn't crush the peppers, couldn't leave footprints in the dirt. Definitely couldn't wake up the dog!
However, it was absolutely imperative that Super Sailor Chibimoon make her presence known. So far she'd done little more than dust youma. It seemed almost as if the senshi and Negaverse were avoiding her entirely, or simply she was that unlucky? It was lonelier than ever to be back on the side of Good, when everyone you possibly could have wanted to see was dead, missing, or avoiding you. Though if Chibiusa was forced to be honest with herself, as more and more she was, the pink-haired teenager would say that she was avoiding some of them herself. Such as Princess Chronos and Helios, both of whom she knew how to find but did not care to go to that side of town. No, Chibimoon gave Crystal Academy a wide berth.
Coralie Williams made it easily out of her window and was smart enough to hoof it a few blocks away before pulling the shiny gold and pink compact from her pocket and smiling down at it. Some things were a familiar comfort, at least. "Moon Crisis Power, Make Up!" Held aloft it spewed forth an almost disgusting amount of pink light, feathers, and sparkles before fading to reveal the first and last Senshi of Crystal Tokyo. It was also a powerful transformation, and would act like a siren call to anyone in the area. Hopefully, something other than a youma bit her lure tonight!

Sidra Winters paced the downtown core, her cream coat buttoned tight, a scarf around her neck; she was patrolling, but it was cold, and she was a touch more conspicuous as Sailor Nova than she was as Sidra Winters. Her shoes were sensible and made little noise on the poured cement-- though it was very late, it was still very noisy in Destiny City.
Noise pollution was up 200%, according to the local news media, and the reasons for this were obvious-- the sheer amount of Senshi and Negaverse, as well as the few Cavaliers, meant that patrolling was rarely as quiet as it once been.
Sidra could almost consider it the good old days, back when she was just out of puberty and fighting against ill-formed monsters, back when the Negaverse was still new-born and simply testing out their strength. It was back when good was good and bad was bad, the simple black and white thought process that made everything easy. Everything was still in harsh tones, though there was a steady tinge of grey shading her thoughts. She hated dwelling on her past, especially nowadays when she was trying to move forward, but it was hard still to ignore the fact that she had switched sides more than Ninotchka.
She was about to high tail it home, coveting her warm bed in her warm room in her warm home, when she was suddenly poleaxed by a familiar and yet different power surge- It was coming from the North, she could feel it - her feet were running on their own - it couldn't be, it just couldn't be--
And then she was there, and a power that she had felt before was in a body with features that she did not recognize, in a girl that she had never seen before, and something felt different-- this was not the princess that she had met in the past, and that was right, wasn't it?
Or maybe not. Something inside of her rebelled against the idea that this puzzle piece fit inside the hole in her heart; it was the right shape, but the wrong size, and did not fill every corner the way she knew it must.
This girl had pale pink hair (but didn't that mean less than nothing, considering they had all been reborn? Their Princess might very well be a Prince, though Astraea rebelled against that so badly that she had almost hawked a hairball when one of the Senshi had suggested it at the last meeting. Nova thought it might have been Sailor Foramen, who seemed to rub Astraea the wrong way every time she opened her mouth) and cherry red eyes, and though the power signature was strong, it wasn't entirely right. It wasn't false though, which was what Sidra had first feared, worried that the Negaverse had somehow managed to disguise the signature of the Corrupteds.
Sidra finally noticed that she was standing in front of the Senshi in her civilian clothing, and blushed furiously-- she felt naked. Her pen was in her pocket, her hand was around it, and she merely whispered her transformation-- her signature was strong, and distinctive enough that the Negaverse had no problem tracking her down in their assassination attempts. It was not as strong as this one, not even close, but Sailor Nova was past caring about being the biggest bomb in the city. She'd rather not be anymore, she was next to useless; she hadn't even used her upgraded attack, worried that it may be too much for her to handle-- it had happened before.
"I'm Sailor Nova, Senshi of Stars... who are you?"

If the staring girl with vaguely familiar pigtails hadn't gotten Chibimoon's attention, the surge of power that hearkened a transformation certainly had. Though it might not have been as powerful as her own transformation, backed as it was by something that Astraea would have called a 'Great Crystal', it was certainly radiating with light and power. Senshi of Stars? A heavy title for anyone, but it seemed like this girl wore it fairly well. Nonetheless, wariness lurked behind the smile that blossomed over the pink senshi's face, dropping with little embarrassment into an old pose that she'd learned at her mother's knee.
"Sailor Soldier of Love and Justice, Sailor Chibimoon!" The fingers forming a vee across her eyes closed into a salute and the silence stretched for a moment before hesitantly, she spoke again. "Nice to be meeting you, Sailor Nova." Those cherry eyes darted around for a moment before shoulders squared like a decision had been made.
It was almost annoying to listen to her own thoughts at times, Chibimoon often dwelled on the fact that making your own decisions was hard. Especially when you knew no one, barely spoke the language, and had periodically tried to kill the people you were now working with. It never actually went over well, being a turncoat. "Have you heard of me? Maybe my ma....Sailor Moon. Have you heard of her? From her?" Mama had almost escaped her lips, but the connection did not yet have to be made. It brought up too many questions, too many things that needed answering that she wasn't comfortable speaking of. After all, who would be willing to believe that she was the daughter of the Moon Princess and Earth Prince, from the future?! Especially a future that no longer existed, with no Puu to back her up.
Yes, it sucked making your own decisions thoroughly. This whole thing was awkward, and almost painful to ask questions and try to confirm what she had all but learned on her own from Beryl. But there was a chance that evil lied, because evil almost always lied. There was not much hope, yet hope was all Chibimoon had left.

Sailor Nova smiled weakly at the choreographed movements, slightly flustered by the showy assurances. Her usual poses were "hands on hips" or "run like hell". The pigtails were a giveaway, and at the back of her mind, a part of Nova questioned her reasoning for changing her hair to echo the girl in front of her, and her mother. It had been done without a conscious thought, nor was there any self reflection at the time; the only person who noticed had been Astraea, who merely raised her eyebrows.
And though nothing much was happening, the earth moved, and suddenly Nova was pulling the other girl in for a hug. This was crossing the line, she knew that, but it felt right, and obvious, like someone else was urging her on, movements once learned and forgotten and just starting to shine through once more.
"I am sorry we meet again under such circumstances," Nova whispered quietly, though she hadn't a clue why.
She did feel fuller, more real, than she had felt in a very long while. It was clear that the hole in her heart had consumed her for a very long time-- why it was now that she realized this, and wanted to continue living just as she was eluded her.

The warmth was so familiar and so very welcoming that the feeling very nearly drove the princess to her knees as arms came tight around Sailor Nova with no hesitation. The voice in her ear was overlaid with another that had been heard not so very long ago, after a trip into the past that had been wholly unexpected and almost entirely forgotten in the face of grief.
-----
Everyone's star seeds had melted into the Galaxy Cauldron in front of their eyes as Galaxia so casually waved a golden hand and destroyed ten lives. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune. Saturn...oh Hotaru! Puu! And finally the painful twisting in Chibimoon's chest that was the removal of her father's life from the timeline. King Endymion was no more, and his child would now never be born.
Even as the pain had ripped through the Chibi senshi, her hands had started fade along with her body as she called out to Sailor Moon, arms outstretched. 'Sailor Moon! Mama!' The second word had echoed only in her head, and then there was only the gentle drifting in a golden world, with a white-haired woman looking so very similar to the red-haired child she had found with Sailor Moon.
'I am sorry we had to meet like this, but do not be afraid.' A light hand reached out to touch Chibimoon's cheek with a smile that was full of sadness and joy all at once. 'Sailor Moon has sent Chaos back into this place, the Galaxy Cauldron.' The staff in her hand turned radiant with an intense light, and a great portal emerged to show below the princess her family and friends; Usagi in the arms of Mamoru. Safe. 'They will return to their home, and you will return to yours. Things will be as they were, and you will see them again in the 30th Century.' There had been no introduction, but there hadn't needed to be one.
Later, Small Lady would learn from her Amazoness Quartet that it was Sailor Cosmos who had met her, who had sent her home to be reaffirmed into the timeline. Had told her what Chibi Chibi had said before making the transformation into a beautiful woman and Sailor Moon's sacrifice.
----
It was those words now that came from Chibimoon's lips as she clung and spoke almost brokenly. "As long as stars are born, the battle will never end. You were right, Cosmos. Nova." Arms clutched tightly as something familiar finally broke through into this strange world, something that wasn't new or tainted or changed. "Oh I am so happy you are here!" Tears would have been expected, the brokenhearted sobbing of a lost child, but instead there was only a fierce happiness radiating through her. It was right, it was good, and now they could get things done! Pulling back only slightly, the smaller teen beamed, unaware entirely of what Nova had been through. "I am happy to meet you, because of the circumstances!" And that was that, for Small Lady!

The nature of the events that had happened to her during the past year, and the years prior, fell in to place with a simplicity and grace that Nova was grateful for. All of those questions of "why me?" were answered; her trip to the moon finally satisfied. Nova was not aware of all of her memories, though she was certain that, in time, they would come back to her. For the moment, she was certainly glad that she had come across the Small Lady, even if she was not so small, but always such a Lady.
"I wish it were not so," Nova whispered, her voice softly awed with her sudden realization.
There was no transformation, nothing like the showy affair that Astraea had thrown at Charonite. It felt right though; Nova felt she ought to heal her inside before thrusting herself in to the spotlight. Because that is what would clearly happen, and the outcome was an idea that she loathed. She had never been very accomplished at controlling her power, and now to be thrust in to all the powers and responsibilities that came with being Cosmos? It would all be too much; and all would depend on her again, and again, she would disappoint them. Perhaps not because of faintness of heart, as last time, but still, she would be a failure. This time, she lacked the essential power that made her Sailor Cosmos-- Lambda power... and her crystal.
"Please do not tell anyone," Nova pulled back with a jerk, terror suddenly blooming in her eyes, "at least not yet, please promise."
Nova clutched at Chibimoon's hand, and brought it to her chest.
"Please," Nova implored, searching Chibimoon's eyes, "it would not be right-- who would believe it?"
Nova did not want to own up about the crystal.

Fingers twisted at Nova's chest and linked pinkies, as solemn and unbreakable a promise as the girl could think up in the heat of the moment. "I promise." Promises were something that were always serious and were not made unless they were going to be kept, a trait that had always stuck with the Rabbit, no matter who had a grip on her soul at that point in time. Personally, she thought that they all would have believed it, and it would have put Nova in danger. If she didn't know about her power before this moment, it meant that she had little to no control over it. Bad things happened when you couldn't control yourself, and Chibimoon had no way at all to put a check on something as great as Cosmos.
No, it was very much a good thing that this stay a secret for now! The smile hadn't at all vanished in the face of Nova's impassioned plea but had softened with the promise, became reassuring and comforting for all that Nova was the older of the two. "I do not want many to know about me as well. It is probably very obvious, because I am Chibimoon....but. I am not strong." It was a quiet statement, shameful and not something she would have told just anyone. Cosmos was someone that she was familiar with, even the slightest bit. She would understand.
"I should not exist, my power is very strange. I use Sailor Moon's attack. But my crystal is...not like it should be." There was something off about her power every time she tried to use it, touch it, make it bend to her will in the exercises that had been daily routine in the future. "We can take care of each other now." Everything had been pushed away, and replaced with this simple statement. Nova knew the city, knew the situation. Chibimoon knew about being a senshi, about the power that Nova had no idea how to control or contain. They could lean on each other, and make each other stronger.
Or at the very least, try to salvage what were two very odd existences.
"Promise?"

"You have to," Nova gripped her pinky to Chibimoon's but grabbed her shoulder with her free arm, "though, I will admit, we are in very similar situations. But the simple fact of the matter is that you ARE known, Luna does know who you are, and to hide would be to hide your very birthright."
Nova let go of Chibimoon's shoulder after recognizing that she was squeezing it a bit too hard. It did not come as a shock to her that Small Lady wanted similar things to her; she agreed that leaders were not created just by birth but also by their actions. Everyone had the power of choice, but Chibimoon had history, and her mother had been very, very important. It was always hard living up to someone as great as that.
"It's important that you lead, we have so few leaders-- there are some starting to go off in their own groups and it's nice to see people really trying to be united, but no one is yet. And right now, we can handle not being a single unit. But when darker days come-- and you know they will come-- what will we be able to do, divided as we are? Not much, I can tell you that. I don't recall everything in my past, not yet, but I do know this: Our greatest gifts are our ability to stand together, friendship, love. My friends were picked off, one by one, in the past, and even now those I once loved are gone. It weakens us, losing those that mean the most, and I for one don't want it to happen again."
Nova paused, and went on.
"The only reason I ask you to keep what I am a secret, is for the simple fact that you know exactly what I am. If I could become ChibiChibi again without hurting my family for the upteenth time, I would do it in a second. But as Cosmos? Astraea knows what that means, you know she'd latch on to it in a second if only she knew. I'd be an instant target, an instant leader, and woefully under-prepared-- it is the same, isn't it."
Sitting down on a bench, Nova put her head in her hands.
"I'm asking you to take your rightful place, and to shut up about mine, and that's wrong. I just can't do anything about what is going on, and I mean. I couldn't do what I had come to do from the future..."

Walking over to place a light hand on the young woman's shoulder, Chibimoon's heart ached and swelled at the same time. It was interesting to realize that you were looking at a mirror of your emotions in another person, to see what others usually saw in you, and to analyze that way. Her hair was so similar to that of the Tsukino Usagi, making the image in the pink-haired senshi's mind that much more seamless. Sailor Nova looked tortured, agonized, bewildered, but wanting so badly to help. Chibimoon opened her mouth for a moment, closed it, and sighed with a bit of resignation. "You are more than I." It was a simple truth, undeniable to the very core. Small Lady was a Moon Princess, true, but she was not a great power as Cosmos - as Nova, was. Or would be?
Everything was confused, and upside down. No real words of wisdom could spring to mind that had any translation, so venturing forth again, the princess tried her mother tongue. "Do you understand me?" Simple Japanese, garnering a nod of dawning comprehension from Nova. Apparently, her memories had given her more knowledge than either of the girls had anticipated, all to the better! The comforting hand that had been placed suddenly was removed to clutch its mate, fingers knitting and wringing with nervous motions.
"You have to understand that I wasn't ready for this! Mama wasn't ever going to die, and Papa wasn't either, why should I have ever had to rule? I had the Amazons, but we never had to really fight. Who would fight with Mama and Papa after Demando?" No one had. The Death Phantom, her beloved Wiseman, had been the last real threat to Crystal Tokyo that Small Lady had ever seen. Whatever had destroyed the timeline and sent her here from that glorious future had not been an enemy of that place. "I don't really know what I'm doing! I trained with Sailor Moon and the others, but I was never a leader! I never even met Beryl!" Nehelenia, certainly. Mistress 9, well. Somewhat. Galaxia she had seen so briefly, a battle that hadn't been her own but that Chibimoon had insisted on joining.
Moving restlessly, the tails of her streamed out along with the glimmering bow for a tiny, elegant display of passionate emotion. "If I do this, I might doom everyone! They're going to remember that I was Black Lady! What if they attack me? I don't want to be attacked! What if I'm no good at leading them? What if I make things easier for Beryl? What if..." Realizing that she had all but shouting these questions in alien Japanese to poor Nova, Chibi lowered her voice and quietly reached a hand up to touch the brooch in the center of her chest.
For love. For justice. In the name of the Moon.
Speaking again quietly in English, her shoulders slumped and straightened, slowly. "If I do this, you will help? I cannot do it alone, and I do not know Astraea. Is she really Luna?" Red eyes grew thoughtful. "If I can. The...Zodiacs?" The word was unfamiliar and clumsy on her tongue. "Chronos can help." Or so she desperately hoped. There had been no feeling of a great crystal's power in the city since Black Lady had awoken again as Chibimoon, but it did not mean that the Princess of the Zodiac did not have her full power.
Sitting on the bench next to Nova, the Princess of Crystal Tokyo sighed heavily. "If I do not, no one will. That is not good. Mama would be very angry with me, if I turn away now." And that was the truth of it; she was the daughter of two great rulers, and must always, always make them proud. It was all that Chibiusa had ever wanted, was to be a lady. A true lady. No lady ever turned her back on someone in need, and she had seen in more than one way that she was needed.

"Everything ends," Nova spoke softly, entreating the other girl to sit beside her, "especially when we least expect it. This was never supposed to happen, this wage of terror on the earth. I come from the future as well-- you remember me, from the cauldron? I had made a promise to myself to stop what would happen. If it all ended well, I would not have come, right? It is a sad thought, and very sad memories. That future does not exist anymore. And I'm sorry that yours does not as well."
Speaking in another language was odd, like remembering a faint memory. The more she spoke, the more she remembered, and the more it felt like a lie to claim that she did not know all things she had experienced. Maybe she did remember them all, but her time alive was vast, and did not matter in the grand scheme of things. So many had she lost, so much she had failed at, and she was leery to share her pain. But this young child felt her pain, and far more deeply than she now did. How do you tell someone that in time, it would get better when you had lived as long as you did? All you had was time.
"I knew of your mother, the great Sailor Moon. She was known throughout the universe, hailed as a great leader, on the level of Galaxia, even Kakyuu. Princess of a star system, a princess full of grace of spirit and beauty of heart. Those of the dark want to put out those lights, throw the worlds in to Chaos."
Nova stopped suddenly, her phone vibrating. She took a moment to text back, and turned her attention to Sailor Chibi Moon once again.
"Neither am I a leader, only a star born with more power than she knew what to do with. And this led to corruption and pain and despair and then my ultimate death; my star could not die, not yet, and I was sent back. And though our fellow Senshi knew of my transgression, I have not yet met any opposition. I doubt they will react any differently to you, especially with Luna backing you up."

There was a light smile playing around the corners of the teenager's mouth as she thought of one person that would back her up, and who had never shut her out of their heart. "Helios will not let them hurt me, she will help too." It was obvious that Chibimoon's heart, at least, had never changed. It was that heart that had constricted, twisted, all while swelling with pride at the mention of her beautiful, kind, powerful mother. Everyone had loved Sailor Moon, wars had been started over her countless times because of that love.
"I think Chaos cheated. There is no other way to beat mama." It was a stone-cold fact, something that could not be argued with in the girl's mind. No one had ever truly beat Sailor Moon, and no one would ever legitimately, fairly beat the Moon Princess. When you were the brightest light, you could illuminate any darkness. Now Nova was that bright light, and it was easy to feel the desperate need to make things right and defeat the darkness pulsing off of her. But she couldn't do it alone, and if the nasty Queen got a hold of her again....no, that wouldn't do.
Sailor Moon had sacrificed herself, her life, and her friends' trust so many times in order to do what was right, and make sure that no one else got hurt. How could she do anything less than what Usagi had done? Mama and Papa would be proud of her, and it would start now.
Taking Nova's hand again lightly, the chibi senshi nodded. "If you are too bright, they will try to drown out your light. We cannot let them do that. I will protect you, and step up so that they think it is me. Even if they try to take me into the dark, I have been there before, and can leave it again." It was a small matter of pride for this princess, that she could walk both in the light and the dark at will. Well...with a little help, but where there was a will, there was a way!
"You should take me to Luna."

Nova made no attempt to argue with Chibiusa, regarding Chaos cheating-- it was just as true as anything else that could be said of that monster. It was hard, looking at one who felt such excruciating pain in her heart, away from her home, her friends, her family, and knowing not what she could do to help. All they could do was keep moving on, and hope that more cauldron souls returned from their long journey. So many on this planet, far too many; it did not make sense why they were all here, on this tiny, insignificant planet. For sure, it had been the place of a great many battles, but so had many others. What of Kinmoku, what of Mau? What of the planets and star systems of those she had met? Just what had happened?
That, and only that, was a large, white blur; the rest of her memories stood out in gory, lurid detail.
"There are many bright stars here-- and you're one of them. Let's not discuss who shall be protecting whom, shall we? I'd like to be able to protect you when the moment comes; there is no place for pride in this battle. As to Luna..." Nova flipped open her phone again (a purple Motahrollah with stickers all over it), "she's on her way-- she'll prolly weep. She's weepy-weep over anything from the past. She sobs when we watch Ghost, she's mental. Have you ever seen a cat cry? They are alarmingly quiet. They don't ugly cry. It's--" Nova didn't finish her sentence, as a cat skittered from behind the bushes, and stopped dead, trembling in front of the two of them.
"Have you two completely gone mad. Have you lost it. We need to GO, this is mental," Astraea was as bristly as ever it seemed; also, she was wearing a teeny tiny sweater that said "Princess" on it, "scatter; meet up at Nova's, DE-HENSHIN on the way but don't go directly there, or we're totally ********. God."
Astraea ran under the bench, and Nova cracked a grin at Chibimoon.
"Better give me your cell number, I'll text you my addy. Astraea's right though-- this is crazy dangerous. Unless we want to get our woop on. And I'm sort of all wooped out to be honest."

Plucking the phone with ease from Nova's fingers, the number was programmed in the purple, sticker-adorned piece of technology with ease. Fighting with the guardian cats was a waste of time and Chibimoon knew it - she hadn't even been able to win against Diana, except on rare occasions. The sweater gave her mind a bit of a blink, but not as much as the word 'woop'. What in the world was 'getting your woop on' and why was it bad? Well, that was something she could ask Nova when there wasn't currently an agitated silver cat yelling at her and fluffing her fur out like there was an angry tom nearby.
Throwing off a quick and snappy salute, Chibi laughed truly for the first time since coming into contact with the Senshi of Stars. "It is dangerous, but danger is how we live. But I will go that way, you can go this way, and I will wait for you." Almost out of nowhere materialized the bright pink phone with the little moon and pearl charm, held up as the teen all but melted into the shadows. It was no mean feat for a girl all in white and pink, but she hadn't haunted them for months without learning how to make herself hidden in any circumstances.
She wasn't more than three blocks away when Chibimoon vanished, and Coralie Williams walked into the Shufflepuck Cafe for a late-night hot chocolate. Hopefully Nova would get to her soon, and her home wasn't too far away. Otherwise she'd have to henshin up again!

Powering down, Nova walked briskly up the street, and rounded the corner, her shoulders tense; she had never been able to lie easily about her emotions, and she felt very much like something bad was about to happen.
But nothing bad did happen, even as she walked up to the window of Shufflepuck, waved at Allie and mimed pointing at her watch. They were silent as Nova led them up the street, Nova shushing Allie as if the Negaverse had suddenly become Big Brother or had somehow tapped in to the Government. And who was to say they hadn't? Better to be safe than sorry.
The apartment that Nova shared with her family was occupied, even at that time of night, by her entire family. Apparently, the family that kept up together, stayed alive together. It would have been simpler to lie; it might even have protected them, but it was too late for that now. Allowing them to clap her on the shoulder (her father), hugged tightly by her mother and sister, Sidra finally sat down with a sigh, and grabbed a soda from the fridge.
"I had to tell them everything," Sidra admitted, speaking in the language that Allie most recognized, "I had died, you see; I was in purgatory for awhile, hanging around with your grandmother, right? And then suddenly, I couldn't hang their anymore, she said that it wasn't right, I was affecting things in ways that she was unsure about. So I was sent back-- and my parents, who had either accepted my death or had become consumed by my missing status-- had to deal with the idea of me putting myself in danger all over again. Your parents must have forbade you to go out on missions multiple times, right? It sort of sucks."
They were soon joined by an elegantly dressed young lady, similar but yet not quite the luna that Chibimoon had once known.
"I have missed you, small lady," Astraea-Luna whispered, for once not yelling or calling people dicks or insulting their mothers (god forbid).

Coralie blinked several times at Sidra's family, smiling shyly while the familial affections were exchanged all around. The explanation made sense, though it removed the smile from her face and it seemed like there was a whole lot less to be happy about in the end. It wasn't wholly extraordinary that Nova, as Cosmos, had been reborn almost immediately after spending some time wherever it was that Queen Serenity of the Silver Millennium resided. After all, stranger things had happened to Coralie. Existing right now was topping the list though. There was, however, another one of those laughs at the mention of going out on missions. "Missions? I lived in Crystal Tokyo! Everything I did was simulated, once I returned to the 30th Century. I fought Jupiter, Uranus, sometimes Mars. I am so rusty it's not even funny! I haven't had a battle since...well. You know." Since Galaxia, when things had gone very wrong for the senshi in this world.
Any other senshi, especially Castor, would have been shocked by the quiet demeanor of Astraea-Luna. Allie, however, had no frame of reference and simply stared for a long moment. Then, she did something that would probably have embarrassed the grey cat in any other circumstance. She gave a low cry, and threw her arms around the gold and black-gowned woman, clinging tightly. "Luna. Luna I am so sorry. I am so so sorry." It had to be said to someone. By proxy, it was going to be Luna.
