Hair can be a big deal, particularly on Gaia where some pretty outrageous things were possible. Personally, Patton wasn't much fond of bothering with all of that hooing and hawing, particularly over something as simple as her hair, but today she apparently had to be concerned with it.
It seemed Patton's attention had been much too absorbed in what she was doing and not in where certain parts of her body were, and an accident had occurred in her lab. Namely, she'd gotten her long hair caught in a machine and had had to lob off a very large chunk of it in a very messy fashion to keep from getting all of it ripped out by the machine's turbines. The cutting had been so messy and so ragged that her mother had decided only a professional could get Patton's hair properly cut and styled in a manner that would both not make her look ridiculous and keep it out of her way.
Because of this, the girl and her sister were presently in front of a Salon and Patton was looking nervously in the window through her goggles, her mess of hair hidden under a black baseball cap. Pogo, along for moral support, was also wearing a black cap and some sunglasses, but that was more because she tended to confuse and blind the hell out of people with her looks. That and matching Patton was fun! The girls were also both in black t-shirts, blue jeans, sneakers and plain brown jackets. However, unlike her twin, the one had rainbow fur visible in patches, large purple wings, and funny eye markings visible under her glasses.
Patton sighed, looking to Pogo before looking at the salon again. Did she really have to do this?

Manami's trio of tails were swishing behind him, at least for the moment he was a him but it was something that could change at any moment. The orange colored fox was a rather cute thing, was always grinning over something, and his eyes were called 'fox eyes'. The only feature she wasn't a fan of on himself, not that he would ever admit it due to his pride, but it made stealing the eye color of other people difficult. It was his 'tell'. What was always the same no longer the shape he took on.
He was walking along a short time in front of his father, smiling all the way, ears twitching, smiling, and he turned to look over his shoulder, "Look! Look this is the place!" He called out, waving an arm. He'd been interested in hair for a while now since it was the easiest thing to change. He didn't want to change his hair through the means of cutting or dying, instead he wanted to get his hands on some of the books and magazines that they had laying around there that showed many styles of hair. Manami wanted some of those books, wanted to see if they would sell some to him or if they could order him some. If so it would give him endless amounts of styles that he could shift his hair into.
He paused into the window of the place, watching the women and two men who were working there before his tails started to wag faster. As he made his plans he turned to look toward the ones who were nearby to him, starred for a moment, and then he gave a gasping sound, "Pogo!" He cried, lunging forward to pounce on the rainbow colored girl he'd met before in the park. One of his favorite people due to the way she could take herself apart and because she was just so... rainbow!

The girl looked down before grinning brightly. "Manami! Heeeey! How've you been?" she cooed, hugging the tot and petting the soft fuzzy tails. Mana had been really nice to meet!
Patton was surprised and jumped a bit at someone suddenly tackling the person next to her. It was weird and very off putting. Carefully, she stepped a little away before speaking, "Excuse me but, who and what are you?" she asked, adjusting her goggles a bit as she spoke.
The rainbow girl snorted at that, "Patttttttton, this is my friend! Manami! Mana, this is my sister Patton."

If Manami were a cat it was likely that he would be purring at this point as his friend stroked his tails in such a nice manner, one that made Manami that much more snuggly. One ear turned toward Patton before his head followed to look over at the brown haired girl for a long moment. The fox was silently taking in every detail of this new girl though there weren't to many, and instantly Manami was interested. This Patton person was... nothing to write home about but that could be rather useful if you were trying not to be noticed after you did something bad, couldn't it?
Instantly Mana's trio of tail set to wagging in a manner that showed his mood had become that much better due to this fateful meeting, or at least he would call it fateful, "Hello there, Patton! Manami is quite glad to meet you! He thinks that you have a very interesting sort of look!" He chirped, grinning from ear to ear.

Pogo giggled, cuddling Manami and stroking his ears a bit too. "Mana, you think everyone's interesting." she teased, amused by the fox boy and his antics. She may not know where his brain may be going, but anyone who decreed Patton had an interesting look was definitely up to something. Not that Pogo thought Patton was too boring or anything, but Patton wasn't what most would call very interesting to look ta.
The brunette nodded a little, adjusting her goggles. "It is nice to meet you." she stated before turning around to look at the salon window again and sighing.
Pogo giggled and whispered to her companion, "Patton's shyyy. And she's kinda upset today."

Manami nodded his head, tails swishing, "Yes! Manami believes that everyone is quite interesting, they all have things about them that Manami finds to be great!" He chirped. After all the more people he was around the more traits he was able to study and the more she was able to take for himself.
Slowly the fox turned to look over at the brunette that seemed to be gazing into the salon, sighing away, ad then Pogo filled him in that the girl was feeling upset as well as suffering from shyness, "Ohh. That must be hard, is there anything Manami can do to perk up Patton?" He asked, not often looking to play the hero but at the moment he didn't mind trying his hand at it if it meant being allowed to stay around these two for longer. The longer the better.
"Is Patton going to get a hair cut?" he asked of the brunette, "Manami was thinking that he would try to find some of their books to study, books about various hair styles are books Manami wants for himself." They were like a catalog of things for him to steal for himself hair wise.

Pogo scratched Manami's ears and laughed a little bit. "You're fun like that, Mana." she agreed, a bright smile on her face.
At the question about whether or not he could cheer up Patton, the girl herself responded. "That won't be necessary. I am merely a little perturbed because of an accident in my workshop earlier that resulted in my present need for a haircut."
Her rainbow sister nodded, "Patton's hair got caught in a machine and she had to lob off part of it. We came here so she could get the rest of it off so it's out of the way and doesn't look bad."
Manami's talking about giving himself different hairstyles drew Patton's attention once more. "You intend to change your hair that often?" she inquired, not entirely sure if cutting and growing so much hair as a tot was really good for it.
Pogo giggled, "Manami can change fooooorm. Show Patton, Mana!"

"Oh my gosh! Really? Manami would be so scared if his hair got caught in something!" He would be quite upset as well since that would mean losing some of his beautiful self to some terrible machine menace. Then again thinking about it the only dangerous machines that they had at home was the micrwave and perhaps the DVD player, he got the feeling the machine Patton fought with was more dangerous if it could lob off hair.
At the question Manami nodded his head, "Manami changes daily at least! His hair, skin, even his gender can change to suit what Manami's mood is that day." He explained, quite proud of himself and his powers clearly. He looked over at Pogo for a moment then nodded, "Of course! Manami would be only to happy to show Patton what he is capable of." He closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating, and then shifted from his own from to that of Shizuko his winged, blue colored brother, "Ta-dah! This Manami's as his brother Shizuko! Shi has wings on his back whereas Manami has three tails!"
He was a touch jealous of those wings as it was something that he didn't have but he would have been more upset if it were Ama that had the wings. Ama was a brat after all and at least Shi belonged to Manami, the proof being when he had written his name on Shizuko in marker claiming him.

Patton looked down at the now different child. "Fascinating. You can mimic anyone then? Or just your family?" she inquired, looking suddenly quite a bit more interested in the little fox.
Pogo snickered and rolled her eyes, "That's Pat. She looooooooves askin questions when you show her somethin cool. Who else can you be, Mana?"
