THING! was not your average toddler. For one thing, it was neither male, nor female, lacking the parts for either. It was a plush child with soft almost fuzzy white skin, long hair, and soft antlery things atop its head. Thing almost constantly wore the long purple scarf it'd arrived in, but had recently taken to also wearing a plain black jumper it'd gotten from Lily. The child didn't particularly identify as female, but the hand-me-downs from the girl could be altered a bit, so skirts became shorts and dresses became odd jumpers like this one.
One thing that THING! wouldn't and couldn't wear was shoes. The tot just didn't have the feet for it, and that was okay. However, the prices on shoes was something that sometimes confounded the top. They were such a simple and boring article of clothing - why would anyone spend 15000 gold on just one pair of them?
That was what THING! was attempting to figure out today, standing in front of a store window, blank expression on its pale face. The tot had sneaked out of the apartment early in the morning and walked a few blocks down to look in the stores and window shop. Today, it seemed, a particular shop had a set of bright pink dancing shoes on display with a 350,000 gold pricetag on them. Which would be why THING! had yet to move on and was standing there, blank expression on its face and completely mesmerized.

Despite the recent changes in his body he still retained all of his same powers, the most useful one being that he was still able to float. It might be a testament to the fact that he could be a touch lazy, to float everywhere instead of walking. It was what he was doing now, floating along a few inches above the ground, a bright smile on his face, looking as always quite happy. No matter what happened the boy was almost always a cheerful creature, made even more so when he was lucky enough to get his hands on some sweets.
Currently he was munching on some cookies that he'd bought with the change he earned and found while in the park. It seemed that a lot of people who didn't mind sharing their coins when someone was cute enough or helpful enough, Ryuu was both. Not to mention that he was getting good at dancing for his dinner, literally in fact. To add to the dragon's dance was the fact that he was surrounded by glittering stars, a whole cloud of them. It was something that seemed to draw in more people to watching him and sharing with him. It was like he gave off a warm aura that drew people to him, for the moment though there was only one person he was looking for and that was his wayward father.
The glittering dragon went flying on by THING! at first but found himself slowing down, turning, and looking toward her because she was just... interesting looking. He tilted his head to one side then floated backwards toward her, eyes wide with curiosity and reached one hand out toward her, as though wanting to touch her to see if she felt as soft as she looked.

The little one had noticed the dragon boy floating by, but had left him alone for the most part. It wasn't till Ryuusei stopped and tried to touch its skin did THING! react, "Hello there."
The tot stared up at him for a few moments before finally commenting something, "You're very sparkly. What's your name?"

Ryuu gave a sound of delight when his hand touched THING! finding that she felt a bit like the stuffed animals that he'd seen in stores before. How wonderful!
"You feel really soft!" He chirped, giving his best smile, his star ended tail setting to swishing behind him as though he were a happy puppy. He had never met anyone who felt this soft before, the closest to what this girl felt like was Tyyne who had a soft, furry feel to her but not quite as squishy and plush, "Yes, my stars are very shiny! Then again so are my new antennae." He lifted a hand to poke at one of them. They were something new that came in along with the other changes.
He allowed himself to lower down to the ground to stand on his own feet and as he stood there his cloud of stars set to gathering around him, swirling around him seemingly of their own volition, "My name is Ryuusei, how about you?"

The tot nodded, "Of course I do. I'm a plushie - soft and snuggly." it seemed the most normal thing in the world to say, as if there were plushies wandering about all over the city. "You're very sparkly all over." the Curio added, not skipping a beat.
"Ryuusei. Nice." it nodded, filing away the information for later, "I'm THING!." How exactly the tot pronounced the capital letters and exclamation points in its name without leaving the bland monotone was anyone's guess, but this was THING!, after all. A child whose name was perfectly suited to being written in capital letters and with an !.

Ryuu's tail set to swishing behind him at a quick pace, so cute that the blue star on the end of it seemed to become nothing but a blur, "You're neat!" He chirped, finding this little girl to be quite interesting and the fact that she said she was a plushie only made him think that much highly of her. Despite his age, or at least the age level he was supposed to be on, Ryuusei thought the idea of a plushie was wonderful! He'd never had one before himself since he lived a rather gypsy like life style at the moment. Once he finally settled down he wanted a whole mountain of stuffed animals!
"Your name is THING!?" He asked as though making sure that he'd heard her correctly before he gave a little laugh and a smile, "That is such a unique name, how cool!" It didn't take to much at all to amaze and delight the dragon boy, even something so simple as THING!'s name had him impressed.

The tot stared at him for a few moments, observing that Ryuusei might just be like a less active and loud version of Lucifel. He was as amused and delighted by such simple things, the same way she was, and he seemed to talk funny despite being older than Thing itself.
"So what were you doing out today?" it decided to change the subject, rather than musing about whether or not Ryuusei was like it's "sister/mother" thing. "Thing was looking at stuff."

"Nothing specific, just floating around." He said with a smile, he didn't really have much in direction when he went out. He just hoped to find people to talk with, interesting people, and from time to time he would grant wishes for those people that asked for things from him. Not that he could tell THING! that because of the rules that came along with his wish granting, he wasn't allowed to tell people that he could do such a thing because that way his powers couldn't taken advantage of.
"Its a nice day so I thought I might head to the park, have you ever been there before THING!? Its a lot of fun to play there." He said, tail swishing at just the thought of the park. It was one of his favorite places to go now that he was old enough and big enough to play on most of the toys unlike when he was a tiny dragon and wasn't able to do so.

"Yes. Went with Lily and Fel and Tori. It was okay." it stated calmly, gesturing vaguely as it saw other people do at important parties. "I can't go there today though. Have to stay near the 'partment and not get lost or go too far. Gotta go inside later on so Mommy doesn't get mad that I left."
Cocking its head to the side, the tot decided to inquire more into the other's appearance. "You're sparkly, you float, you have stars, and you have a tail and pointy bits. What are you?" Because that wasn't anything THING! was familiar with at all.

He found himself wondering who the three people were that were mentioned by THING! but decided that if he were lucky he might meet them one day. For now he was happy with meeting with this particular person since THING! was rather interesting if you asked Ryuusei.
He couldn't help but to give a giggle at the description that was used in reference to him. He looked at all of his shiny bits before smiling, "I'm a dragon!" He said, tail wagging. He sure didn't look like any normal or scary dragon out there. Instead he was a cute one, one covered in sparkles, and surrounded by a cloud of stars. He lifted a hand up play with one star before smiling. It would seem as though along with the glitter came a sweet and easily excitable disposition.

THING! cocked its head to the side before nodding slowly. "Okay. You can be a dragon." it decided, even if Ryuusei didn't look like a proper dragon at all. But if the star boy said he was a dragon then he was a dragon! That was the important part! Being what you wanted to be, right? "Do you like being a dragon?" Because that was the next logical question of course.
THING!'s disposition and way of thinking were as odd and wonky as the strange toy it had come from. Some things were taken literally and some things completely bizarrely. It was a rather strange combination, to be sure. As it was thinking of what to say next, a flock of geese flew overhead, heading south for the winter. "Those are Geese. Do you like geese?"

Ryuusei seemed to think about that one for a long moment before nodding his head, "I think that I do like being a dragon." He said, he wasn't the dangerous, scary sort that went around taking over kingdoms but then again he didn't think that it would be very fun being that kind. Seemed like you would just make people mad doing that sort of thing... but he could be wrong.
Turning his head to look up at the Geese that she pointed out, watching them fly by, "Geese!" He murmured, watching them as they went, "Yeah, they are fun to feed bread to at the park... though they seem to like to bite when people are mean to them." He'd seen more then one little kid chased by them for trying to tug out their feathers. He did feel bad for them but he really thought that there must be a better way then biting and chasing to get people to be nicer to you... then again since they couldn't talk they were at a distinct disadvantage.

"That's good. Are you the type that likes princesses?" THING!'s question was of a perfectly practical nature - after all, it knew some things about dragons and one never did get to discuss things with them. "Or Maidens."
"Wouldn't you bite someone mean to you? It gets messages across easy."
