So summer is over, and I'm pretty sure most of us are back to school. So maybe you'd like to share what your summer was like!
For my summer, I worked for this air quality study (they just did breathing tests on me), worked the rest of the summer at a coffee shop...oh and I also went to Ottawa for a week. It was fun visiting my stepdad's family. They also had a swimming pool, which we didn't. No one in our family trusts my four-year old brother around one alone for my parents to get one.
Anyway, that's pretty much it for me.

I finally got a wakeboard, which I've been wanting for a while. IT WAS SO FREAKING FUN!!! I'm still going to need to buy a wakeboard tower so I can get enough air for flips, but hey, it's fun even with out flips! >w>
I sat on my lazy a** and played Monster Hunter...I got off my lazy a** and swam daily...I got back on my lazy a** and watched anime...and then finally, I got off my lazy a** again and drew comics.
Actually, I did a ton of drawing this summer. I think my artwork's improved a ton just over the past few months!

hmm that sounds like a nice relaxing summer. smile
I had a VERY busy summer.
Started off with a 10 day trip to Nicaragua. Did a community service program there. I taught some kids high school kids english. And while I was there I stayed with a middle class Nicaraguan family.
The day after I got back from Nicaragua I went on a plane to China. The plane ride was long, something like 15hrs each way, but it was worth it. I was in China for 2 weeks. Was just there as a tourist. Was very interesting learning about the culture, history, and art.
Then 2 days after I got back from China I went to a 1 week engineering program to see if i'd like engineering. I was kind of disappointed by the program. But I guess it was still a good experience to have.
And 1 day after that program I went to another engineering program for 2 weeks. This program was much better than the first and was a lot of fun as well as interesting. =)
After that I got back home, and just when there could have been a chance to relax I had to start working on the common college application. xp (im a senior in high school now--still can't believe it)
Then I went for a 3 day family reunion. It was for my grandma's 80th birthday. For some reason she chose to have it at a place with no internet and no cell phone usage. O_O I managed to survive having to stay with my relatives for 3 days. lol
And on my way back from that I visited some colleges. Yay...so much fun... -.- ...this first trimester in school is gonna suck. :/
Well, over all my summer was pretty awesome, so yea. smile Though I kept wishing to have some down time like u guys- daydreamer and pieprsn.

Visited my extended family in Taiwan. Spent time in a boarding school there and attended a basketball camp. My basketball skills still stink and then I returned to the US.
