Physical Description:
- Touoku has pale yellow colored irises and green hair that is so dark it almost looks black. His hair is fairly long and able to touch his shoulders. The long spiked locks that fall in front of his face are just pushed away from blocking his vision, giving his bangs three major sections. The rest of his hair is a slightly messy styled array of long and short thorns with a slight curve to them. His body is thin and made up mostly of large muscles, thus providing his body with great strength and a slightly better than average top speed for his rank. If his skin tone were a drink it would look as though it was made with two parts cream and one part coffee. No real scarring appears on his flesh that is visible. A few nicks and other thin lines from various scratches can be seen in various places underneath his clothing. His hands in particular are fairly rough and have some faded tiny scars on them from his days learning how to carve images into wood and bone. Link to mug shot concept
- As for clothing, Touoku wears a standard shinigami uniform that he has edited in a few ways. He has removed the right arm sleeve entirely, along with the upper half of that side of the gi. A white stripe has been added down the sleeve in a similar fashion to the academy uniform gi. Underneath his remaining gi he wears a sleeveless gray, skin tight shirt that can be seen where half of his chest would normally be exposed by his current editations. His white haori covers his uniform in a way that parallels the gi, the left arm and back covered with the rest left hanging off his body and tied down to him with a sash of white that holds his weapon to his hips and over the long cloak of white.
- Human world clothing, should he ever get the opportunity to wear, would mostly be any sort of t-shirt that piques his interest, shredded jeans, and a black and white sweatshirt with a hood, and a pair of comfortable sneakers.
Personality:
Touoku views the world as one large complex piece of art in motion, though in great need of added color or more variety in its now dull palette. In such mindset the people of this large sculpture must each have at least one quality about them that is truly a form of art in their own right; poetry, music, martial arts, graceful motion, or even the most astounding hue of eye color can be an example of this strange view. Hollow however are seen as stains, or smears ruining the quality of the art in the world. The rare few that are defined as artists of some skill or physical art in their actions or unique qualities gain respect and the opportunity to see him be open to them. Those without art in them are usually not living up to their potential and thus should be ashamed; Touoku gains cold and distant tones in his action and speech near them. Personally he attempts to make all of his tasks and entire life into a form of art, resulting in him pushing himself too far and occasionally not taking time to notice those near him for who they are. Over all he can be defined as a slight narcissist, viewing himself as a greater artist above others. When it comes to his peers he takes an unneeded amount of caution to avoid conflict, usually in a cold or discreet fashion. When his anger or just plain narcissist comes out he will usually make sharp theatrical, proverbial, or art references in his comebacks and insults. Hidden beneath the cold shell he wraps around himself thickly is able to be a more more happy. To him, the task at hand is what is must be performed with artistic flair. For example if his opponent is not an overly weak hollow he will place the body in one or more melodramatic poses to “perfect” the beauty of their death after his gorgeous execution of the target before carving the new image of carnage into wood or possibly a bone of the victim with his knife for future appreciation.
*Zanpakutou:
Zanpakutou Spirit: Matsume (demon claw) Takes the form of a large quadruped beast with scarlet fur and yellow eyes filled with malice. While there is many resemblances to a wolf, such as the skull structure, tail, and paw shape, Matsume is not in any way just another wolf. He is about five times larger than any normal wolf and has bone like spikes protruding down half of his spine and tail; however, the tail has two sets of spikes along the sides rather than the upper side, starting small at the center of his spine and becoming a set of long sword like blades at the end of his tail. Above his frontal leg shoulders, there are bone spikes that start growth up and outward from his body, but then bend to be paralleled to his body and become flat, sharp blades. Along the back of each of his lower legs, a blade of bone protrudes to match the ones above his back. Along his head there is a single jagged blade of bone serving as a form of long horn. He wears a steel band of spiked metal around his throat that is dyed black by the dry blood upon it. His fangs and claws are a bit longer than even a wolf like creature of his size normally should have. He sees his only purpose for existing is to slaughter all who stand in his/his master’s path until the goal is satisfied. He gets aroused at the sight of blood and enjoys the delicious taste of it. He and Touoku argue at times because of how the shinigami always acts, always making art and being overly perfectionist on just about any subject. Although he does have a sick sense of humor that hysterically applauds the dramatized death scenes Touoku makes out of the corpses of his formidable opponents before carving that image and saving it for eternity. He rarely ever will show himself out in the human world, but if he does he will take the same form as normal, just five times smaller for space conservation.
Inner World: Touoku’s inner world looks like a post apocalyptic city. Tall buildings that are shattered images of their former selves litter the areas of this new land that has now been coated in dry sand and rock that has the stench of blood coming from it. Upon inspection of the sand, rocks, and even the buildings, one will see the traces of large amounts of blood that once flowed through here like water and has now dried into the foundation of the world. Overall the land shift looks as though a vast amount of desert sand and dirt was dumped in this place and then tossed into the place like a salad, only to be smoothed over by the wind. This deserted wasteland contains large open spaces occasionally, mostly where houses and other smaller buildings. The sky is always dark with black and gray clouds thickly enveloping the world here, the light that can be seen glowing through the clouds is not the white light of a sun, but a flaming blood red. Plant life is not seen anywhere in this depressing portrait of a world that could very well be predicting the close or distant future for humanity.
*Sealed Form: Touoku’s sword is slightly short in length, clearly longer than a wakizashi, yet shorter than most katana that most seem to use at a length of 70 cm.(2.3 ft.). The blade is plain in this state, with no special marking on the slightly curved silver blade. The tsuba is a plain circular dist that looks smooth and seamless, yet upon touching it one finds that the texture of it feels like very rough sandpaper all around it. The hilt wrapping is a orange-red color that matches the color of Touoku’s reiatsu, only lacking the same luster that the raw energy contains. The sheath for his weapon is a dull black color that could almost pass for gray. He carts this weapon around behind his back, it hangs loosely to him on the belt of white material that is attached to the far ends of his sheath, letting the grip of his weapon be within easy reach of his left hand at all times.
*Shikai Name/Release Phrase: “Ravage, Matsume” (demon claw)
*Shikai Description:
Once the release phrase is called out, Touoku’s sheath and weapon transform. The case that once held a blade now is a straight tube that is thinner than its prior form and has an opening on both sides that allows the new weapon set to be accessible to each hand when stowed away. His katana is engulfed in a crystallized likeness of Touoku’s reiatsu. Instantly the crystal will shatter and reveal the new weapons, a set of jutte.(Link for those who don’t know what a jutte is) The binding of each handle is silk that is the same red orange of shikai, and it continues into a five inch tassel made of a single length of a silk ribbon that threads once through the pommel ring. The length of the main shaft is 18 inches and appears to be smooth metal. Closer inspection of the shaft reveals countless microscopic blades protrude from the main shaft, making it appear smooth, though very deadly. These micro blades cut in such a way that the wound looks more like it was torn deeply open by asphalt rather than cut clean. However, the flat circular tip of the main shaft and the sharp-tipped smaller shaft has no micro blades on them.
Shikai Powers/Attacks:
- The micro blades or the ribbon tassel of the two jutte can start to let anyone or combination of the three of the following chemicals for use on a person’s body. An anticoagulant to prevent blood clotting of all cut for four posts unless medical attention is gained, an anesthetic that can make pain of the blades feel greatly lessened to the point that it feels like an impact from a blunt object rather than blades that will last for a single post, and finally a coagulation chemical that can clot bleeding and prevent blood loss from minor cuts and other minor wounds. All three of these chemicals react instantaneously upon contact with a target.
- Touoku is able to send a kidou into his weapon and do either one of two things with it. 1.) Let the effect of the spell (usually a hadou) be added to the weapon for the next few posts depending on how much reiatsu he wishes to continue feeding it. 2.) He could alternatively store a kidou spell (either bakudo hadou) and all of the energy needed to activate and release it inside of the weapon with no signs indicating the spell is inside, making it look as though he failed at making the simple spell work This spell is then released at the will of Touoku without saying the name of the spell again, however, this makes all spells used this way have very low range. Touoku can use two different spells in two different ways, one per in jutte at the same time if he so pleases.
Bankai Name/Release Phrase: Koumatsume” (Violent demon claw)
*Bankai Description: Koumatsume is a set of 70 cm long jutte that are solid black metal, the tassel being the only other color on it now, with the main shaft of micro blades now being rectangular prisms that have sword-like cutting edges formed by the edges of the shape. The smaller hook has changed to become a right angle protrusion from the main shaft to leave a sharp rectangle of space in between it and the bladed black spire. This smaller black addition is needle like at the tip and incredibly sharp. The ribbons on the hilt of the jutte are now wider and have a cubic black design running down the center.
Bankai Powers/Attacks:
- Koumatsume grants Touoku a large reiatsu burst since this is a bankai after all.
- The same abilities from shikai are kept, but have a much longer lasting effect.(3 posts now not 1) An excitant is added to the anti coagulant that increased the heart rate and blood pressure of those under its influence to increase the amount of blood that will be naturally pumped out of the wound.
- The anti coagulant has a new form that acts as a thick syrup like substance that works at both cleaning a wound, halting the bleeding, and promoting natural healing.

- A flip knife with ivory handle for his major hobby, whittling.
- A small paper notebook with a pen inside of it, used for writing various things, mainly poems and other various messages.
*Skills:
-He is very talented at carving images in wood, ice, and other various similar substances except stone. He mainly uses this talent as a hobby as it has no exceptionally great combative use, other than the fact it has lead him to become ambidextrous after years of training in his art form.
-The usage of words and creating rhyme schemes for poems is another skill Touoku has learned since his childhood as a spirit.

Biography/History: Biography/History: As a human, Touoku was a child that was obsessed with online video gaming. Years of his continual questing for the best items and killing new players that asked him for anything form of annoying question lead him to become a complete recluse until the age of 19 when his death occurred. His death was by a mage casting a brand new spell that came out in the expansion of the game, along with his own counter to the archers raining arrows on him. The flashing lights and high quality graphics on his large HD monitor basically caused a seizure instantly, however, since he was living in Japan on his own at the time his body was not recovered until his rotting flesh drew the attention of his entire complex.
Touoku was welcomed into the soul society after his depressing death both on and offline as a young child. The district he randomly “respawned” in was one that granted him a fairly decent starting package for his new life. He had a single adoptive father who created artwork for the royal families. Touoku was to study under him and create wonderful paintings that would please those willing to purchase the artwork; yet he retained no talent with a brush, preferring his knife and carving talents. This skill of his would never sell he was told, and after he was forced to try and fail on epic proportions with painting calming images with a brush for 30 years he left his home in the dead of night and searched for a new way of life.Another 20 years passed as he scoured for his niche in the afterlife. His current career path was decided when he witnessed a female shinigami kill a hollow in a single swipe of her sword. The graceful beauty of her merciless action greatly inspired Touoku to create artwork out of such act that usually was considered ugly or vulgar. This lead to him joining the shinigami academy and soon to be entering a squad.
