On September 11th, 2001, a terrorist attack on the world trade center's twin towers sent the United states spiralling into panic. Thousands died, many more suffered long-term from the effects of the disaster. Nine years have passed since that day, nine years since the deaths of so many.
Every year, we observe the passing of this day, every year it becomes a little further-removed, as peace is slowly found, as truths and realities are accepted, and come-to-terms with.
To honor and represent this day, I colored a sleeping eaglet to represent the peace of a nation that nine years past had been thrown into turmoil unlike what had been seen in decades.
The rules for entering this raffle are simple. Post the name of the person you would like to enter for, whether it be for yourself or for another person. You may not enter for yourself or another multiple times, you may proxy for no more than two people. One post per ticket please.
