Note: I'll only be accepting the first post to this, please. XD Can't stand the odd posting orders that tend to occur with three or more parties, and there's less of a likeliness of it dying with just two players. Chowilawu shivered a bit as the wind blew over the lake and through his mane and tail. The beads strung around his neck clicked together with the gusts. It wasn't cold enough for his breath to show in the air, but it was plenty cold compared to the previous weeks' high heat. Soon the leaves would turn to plenty of shades of red, orange and yellow, and the temperature would fall, the leaves going with it. His quiet hum was accentuated by the shivers, and the voice behind them trembles. "The wind is always more by the water, it seems..." He trailed off, not paying much attention to his surroundings. Only the water and the wind and the cold.

{{I'll take the bait. Sunshine could use more meetings. XD}} The wind picked up and ruffled her fur as she walked, teasing at the long strands of her mane. If it was chilly, she didn't notice, being used to cold much more severe than this. Sunshine walked slowly along the lake shore, placing her hooves carefully on the sands and looking around her with a trace of wonderment still. She hadn't been here long, and the changing of the seasons here in the lowlands was something she had never encountered. Up in the mountains, the changing of the seasons was relatively unnoticeable. It was bitter cold for most of the year, with a slight warming in the 'summer', the snows lessened somewhat and the winds might die down. But here, it was facinating how everything changed so dramatically.
She noticed the other male standing further down the shore and gave a faint smile. It would be hard not to notice him, seeing as how he was such a vibrant blue against the darker leaves and trees around him. Her ears flicked as she caught his words as they trailed by on the wind and the mare picked up her pace to reach him quicker. "Hello there!" She called as she approached, not wanting to startle the stallion by seeminly sneaking up on him.

((Sweet deal. =P))
Chowilawu shivered quietly, but looked around excitedly when he heard a voice. He'd always been more than friendly, and could manage to stir up a conversation about anything with anyone. The flutter would never admit it, but he was more often than not embarassed by this quality for reasons that would surely soon become obvious to anybody he spoke to. "H-h-hello, there, m-miss!" There you have it. Though on a day like today, his stutter could probably be mistaken for a shiver, it was very prominent. Regardless, as the words left him, a smile planted itself on his face and his wings fluttered ever so slightly. It seemed like ages sine he'd had interaction with anybody outside the teepee. Somebody new was bound to be fruitful.

Well, that was a good sign, that he didn't jump out of his skin when he finally noticed her. Frightening someone was never a good way to start an encounter. Smiling brightly, she stopped next to him and blinked, peering at his wings in astonishment. She's never seen wings like his before. "Such wonderful looking wings. Can you fly with those?" She asked curiously before she blinked and ducked her head. "Oh! Excuse my lack of manners. My name is Sunshine." The mare said, crystal eyes sparkling with humor as she looked back at the other male, head tilting to see if she could get his name as well.

The stallion smiled and nodded at the mare. "I c-c-certainly can, miss. B-both of my parents have s-s-s-some sort of like this." To prove their functionality, Chowilawu gave them a bit of a flutter and they lifted him from the ground. As soon as he'd begun to fly, he dropped back to the ground, his smile growing ever so slightly. "N-n-not a lack of manners at all, m-m-miss Sunshine. I've gone entire conversations w-w-without introductions." Nodding again, he added, "I'm Chowilawu. You can c-c-call me Cho, though. It's easier."

"How wonderful!" She said with almost childlike glee, unable to keep from staring as he fluttered his wings, watching his hooves leave the ground for a few moments before he settled back down to the earth. Flutters didn't exist up in the mountains since the climates were much too harsh, so it amazed her more than it likely should. But she didn't mind if her actions made her stand out. She was getting used to that ever since she'd arrived. "No introductions? But how would you know who you're talking to?" The mare pondered, frowning briefly before her smile returned. "It's a pleasure to meet you Cho. What brings you here along the lake?" She asked, turning her head and letting her eyes wander over the slightly choppy waters of the lake. She turned once more to look at him, her ears slanting back as another gust of wind blew over them, tugging at her mane and ruffling her thick coat.
{{Sorry for such a late reply. I completely forgot I'd picked this rp up. >>;;}}
