Bio: His father was the heir to the high priesthood of a Tree Elven goddess of beasts. When his time came to take his position, he refused, choosing instead to maintain his life with his wife and family. The goddess became furious and sent her underlings to kill him and his family. Zaefir, being merely seven and quite small compared to his peers, was able to escape harm by squeezing himself into a small space between houses. The rest of his family weren't so fortunate. Zaefir than began stealing food to survive, being left on his own. Later, his thieving became more advanced and he became a professional.

While her father appeared to be an upstanding member of the community, he dealt in more...unique business dealings. His most fortunate find was the Grey Bridge Gauntlet. Unfortunately, there were several people that weren't happy with his possession of it. He disappeared one night, leaving the gauntlet with his daughter. Sydelle has since taken up her father's position, with one change. She doesn't try to look like a good girl. Personality: In business she's ruthless and merciless. She uses the gauntlet often. Her hulking minion can always be seen nearby during business dealings. Her private life isn't much different. Her heart is practically made of ice. He wanted to fight for a living. He heard about a grand master not too far from where he lived. The master was the owner of a Dojo, the most respected one around. As soon as the day's lessons were finished, Astrenose rushed into the Dojo and demmanded to be trained. To everyone's shock, the master listened! He cancled all lessons and shut down the dojo and, Astrenose with him, took his boat out to see. No one knows exactly what happened, but when the two came back only two years later, Astrenose had become a fearsome fighter and his demeanor seemed much more calm. When people asked the master why he had gone to such great lengths to train the boy, the old man laughed and replied, "You would not believe the power this boy posseses. And his attitude reminded me of myself at that age!" Personality: He usually has a calm demeanor, but bellow the surface he's very energetic. This comes out from time to time. Appearance: People have often said that Torque resembles a bear. Not in the being furry sense, but his stance. Large, standing six foot seven, his shoulders are square an broad. His arms are heavily muscled, showing that he is one who has worked with his hands his entire life. His hair is brown and shaggy, often falling into his eyes which are an average grey color. His hands are large, completing the image of a bear by almost resembling paws. Rarely is there an ounce of fat upon his body, save during festival times. He prefers simple clothes, a white shirt and brown pants, meeting at the waist with a broad black belt which holds his sword. His boots are sturdy leather, but hardly ornamented. His face hardly makes women swoon over him, but he does not mind, for he is intent upon his work.
Bio: Torque was the son of a simple blacksmith. A man who loved his job and took pride in it. He was training his only son to follow in his footsteps when the accident happened. Having lost his mother to an illness long before he could remember, Torque was suddenly all alone in the world. His father was killed in a terrible accident at the forge, something that was no one's fault. The others in his village offered to care for the ten year old boy, but Torque felt that he needed to make his own way in the world. A band of mercenaries who were passing through offered to hire him on as an assistant to their own smith, who was growing travel weary with age, and the boy agreed to it. Two years into being their new smith, the other mercenaries decided to teach the boy about fighting. Having worked with swords and other weaponry before, Torque took to it as though he had been born to it. He could have gone far in the ranks of the mercenaries except for one thing. Torque was born mute, and therefore unable to voice commands. Even so he was accepted in the group. As it is with a group whose lifestyle deals in fighting, Torque's companions were whittled away one by one, until he knew no one in the mercenary troop anymore. Setting out on his own, he prefers to act as bodyguard for caravans and fixing the odd metal that goes awry.
Personality: Although he can cut a man in half with little display of emotion, Torque is rather sensitive. He hates wasting a life when a sharp rap on the head will suffice to put an enemy out of the battle. He is quite slow to anger, but once that fire is hot it burns like the fire in a forge. A long memory often makes him cautious about dealing with those he does not know. He has been picked on occasionally for his disability, and feels strongly that other children should not be teased as such so will stand up for them when he sees bullying. Quiet, he is more reflective than reactive.
Job: Mercenary/bodyguard
Miscilanious: The only thing fancy about Torque is his sword, something his father started and he finished. A large two handed double edged weapon which takes great strength to wield.

Appearance: Bartholomew is a rather large man in many respects, his gut being one of them. His hair is brown and receding, though he still has enough to remain dignified. His eyes, however, are young despite his age as they glint clear, glassy green. He wears now the apron of his trade at nearly all times over his normal cloths.
Bio: Passing through the middle of his life, Bartholomew is not as young as he used to be. Though, his youth was spent adventuring about the land, he has long ago retired. He still has the adventurer's spirit, however, he only lives it out now in the stories that he tells.
Personality: Bartholomew is a jovial, fun-loving story-teller. He loves life and enjoys every moment of it, only becomming serious when situation calls.
Job: He is a tavern-keeper and proprietor, as well as a free-lance stroy-teller.

Dengen Specialization: Bone Techniques.
Appearance: Alucard has black hair and blood red eyes. His fangs grow out of hunger and hatred. He has fox ears sitting on either side at the top of his head. Nine beautiful, long, red and black tails flow behind him. His rather long nails can lengthen into claws as his anger grows. He appears rather thin, but he is able to lift up to five hundred pounds.
Bio: Alucard has been hostile towards humans since he was four. His human friends called him a freak when they found out his race. School life was never the same for him. He was hated by his friends and so he hated them. He'd growl whenever they'd come close and push them away when they'd try to talk. He's been looking for a place to fit in.
Personality: He is merciless to anyone that dares enter his sight. His mind is clouded with insanity and hatred. Alucard will help people in need...for a price.
Job: Assassin
Miscilanious: He was born half vampire, half demon. His mother was a full vampire and his father was a fox demon. He is single and he is bisexual. He uses a long, slender blade made of onyx, steel, crushed rubies, poisons, and neurotoxins.

(I know I already have a character, but I just have writers block about what she will do.) Character Name: Jinxx Jeiamadjileiko Dengen Specialization: None Appearance:  Bio: Was found in a trash can in the inner city. She was found by a mob boss's wife, who took her in like her own. Jinxx had a twin, except they were exactly opposite. They were trained assasins, cleaning up the messes from the toughest gangs. They had a mental link almost. When Jinxx hurt someone, Jinxx felt a replica of their pain. When her twin got hurt, that person felt a replica of her pain. It was like her twin gave out mind waves, making other people hear her throughts, when Jinxx kinda... recieved? Jinxx developed her powers way later, after her twin died in a freak turf war. Jinxx was never the same, always silent. When she boarded the ship, this was the last thing she was going to do for her gang, then she would quit. She was sick of the gangs from her twins death. Personality: Silent and sarcastic. Is really just scared and confused inside, but covers it in her roughness. Job: Odd jobs, really just assassination Miscilanious: She has a curse on her where whatever direct physical pain she causes on her enemies, she feels an exact replica of their pain. For example, if she breaks a persons arm, her arm breaks as well. When she kills someone though, Jinxx will go into a coma. (Thus she resorts to non-direct ways of death for them.) She seems to be developing almost a mind reading capability, though she has no control over it.

Bio: Kris had lost everything. Friends, family, love, happiness, none was left. Why? Why did he then choose to follow the destroyers of his life? Was it to secretly have revenge? To find reasons? Because they were the only ones left? Even himself didn't know for sure. All he knew was that he needed to follow them. They accepted him eagerly, which surprised him. With them, he understood how to use Dengen, and became good at dust dengen after years of practice. He noticed he had more talent in the dark dust dengen than in the other elements. It was when he heard of Kurai Dengen that he understood. He finally knew why those poeple attacked his hometown. For their group of mercenaries, the souls of those villagers were corrupted, tainted by darkness, for they all were users of Kurai Dengen. But why wasn't he one? Why wasn't he instructed the dark arts? Did his parents actually want to protect him? And if so, why were all the villagers users of Kurai Dengen? He had to know, to get answers to his past. That's why he became a full-fledged member of that group, and started his own journey.
Personality: He is really often sarcastic and he uses mysterious sentences whenever he feels like it. Mostly calm and reserved, he can sometimes look a little scary. Even though he can be a bit arrogant, he also has a serious side. He can be very kind and attentionate to poeple he likes, as much as he can be evil for those he hates. Most of the time, he actualy uses his sarcasms to hide his true feelings, so knowing what he really thinks can be a very hard task.
Job: Mercenary (Kessai group)
Miscellaneous: When he is really irritated, he'll start eating something in the middle of the conversation, usually something easy and fast to eat. His eyepatch is a memento from his late girlfriend, which she made for him, but his eye isn't actually injured, and when he battles seriously, he'll take it off.

 Gaia Name: The Spirit of Winters End Character Name: Melene Age: Frozen at 19 due to the curse upon her. Dengen Specialization: Bone Techinque Bio: Abandoned at birth, Melene grew up alone. She learnt everything by herself, and never, not even once, came across anyone else who offered her help. She tried many differnet Dengen but the one she came to grips with was Bone based attacks. She has become immune to the pain she feels when attacking. Her main attack is illongating her spine and using it as a piercing whip. She has two forms due to an curse left on her by her parents once she was abandoned. Every time there is a thunder of lightning storm she goes still and falls to the ground, and becomes a monster. Her normal appearance is but a glamour, her between phase is only half of what the curse has done to her. Now she travels the world as an assasian who will work under anyone who offers her what she is looking for. Personality: Melene is silent and strong willed, never one to be confronted she will kill on sight if you piss her off that is. Her docile appearance is only a glamour chosen by her, she has two forms just to warn you. She is extremely protective of friends and also is a free spitit, she does what she pleases when she pleases. Job: thief, Assasian, Sniper. Appearance:
Bio: Sparrowt was raised by a group of traveling musicians known as the Rouken. These musicians used odd dengen capabilities, mached with the beat of their tunes in order to make a great show that could pay for the many supplies they would need. Their fame grew greatly, and soon they would be allowed to perform for the very king himself.
On the day they collected to perform, the tyrant king had taken over the throne. Although they were no more than entertainers, the tyrant king believed that they were loyal to the previous monarchy, since they were more than willing to entertain their royal family. In order to ensure his rule, these peaceful travelers were hung from the gallows. At the time Sparrowt was 8. The tragedy had changed something within him, and had allowed him a kindness to settle along side a clever trickster. From the time he had turned 14 and from that day fourth Sparrowt has been a mercinary, and a salesmen.
Personality: Authoritive, yet kind. He is intelligent and clever, but is too easily filled with pride when showing off his dengen, and musical cappabilities.
Job: Merchant of exotic dengen items
