» † » S t a g e sA n dR e l e a s e s « † « {→ S h i k a i } To attain seating in any division one must obtain Shikai. To obtain it, you are required to have been in at least one [1] real fight in the Roleplay. Not spars, not fight training, real fights that may end in your death. You must also train for a total of sixteen [16] paragraphs to find the name of your zanpakto and release its Shikai form. To assist with this, due to the high number of paragraph requirements, one out of every four [1/4] of your paragraphs in battle count towards your training requirement.
{→ B a n k a i } As with Shikai, no player may start with Bankai. To be considered for Captain seating in any division one must obtain Bankai. To obtain it, you are required to have been in at least two [2] real fights in the Roleplay. Not spars, not fight training, real fights that may end in your death. You must also train for a total of twenty-eight [28] paragraphs to find the name of your zanpakto's second form and meet the Zanpakto's *requirements to release this form. To assist with this, due to the high number of paragraph requirements, one out of every four [1/4] of your paragraphs in battle count towards your training requirement. {*Special Note*} → The requirement of your zanpakto's Bankai Release must be delivered via PM to one of the Acceptance Moderators prior to the beginning of your training. This is to ensure that the training method is valid, or in other words "difficult", as attaining this form is supposed to be difficult. To further help with this you may choose to have a member of the NPC Team to play as your zanpakto spirit.
{→ P e r f e c tB a n k a i } Perfect Bankai is the finished, and most perfect form of your zanpakto. Just what exactly the form takes is dependent on the Shinigami and their Zanpakto spirits, but it has to do with the first two forms. To train to obtain it one must already have achieved, and mastered, Bankai. The requirements, therefore, are larger and more difficult than the prior two. To obtain it, you are required to have been in at least four [2] real fights in the Roleplay. Not spars, not fight training, real fights that may end in your death. You must also train for a total of fourty-five [45] paragraphs to find the name of your zanpakto's third and final form and meet the Zanpakto's *requirements to release this form. To assist with this, due to the high number of paragraph requirements, one out of every four [1/4] of your paragraphs in battle count towards your training requirement. {*Special Note*} → The requirement of your zanpakto's Perfect Bankai Release must be delivered via PM to one of the Acceptance Moderators prior to the beginning of your training. This is to ensure that the training method is valid, or in other words "difficult", as attaining this form is supposed to be difficult. Due to the level or raw power associated with this release form your Zanpakto spirit must be played by an NPC/Battle Moderator.

Joushou-Taicho are Ascended Captains, showing that they have ascended in strength, and supposedly in spirit, from the basic Taicho (Captains) of Soul Society. They are the strongest in terms of raw power in the Soul Society, and while the Sou-Taicho of Soul Society is often considered a member of their rank it is not always the case. Joushou-Taicho have access to all parts of Soul Society, including all forbidden zones, and they are a part of no Division and yet are a part of all of them. This includes Central 46, where others have no say nor step unless the Central 46 command it to be so. Due to the large amount of prestige you get for attaining this stage of Shinigami life, your words are given considerable weight in the Central 46 and all matters of Shinigami life. Rumor has it that all members of this rank are part of the Zero Division. • Shikai »»» ~ Mastered ~ • Bankai »»» ~ Mastered ~ • Perfect Bankai »»» ~ Mastered ~
{→ S - R a n k // T a i c h o }
You are the Captain, the leader of your Division and a high functionary in the Soul Society hierarchy. You hold council with the Sou-Taicho and you are responsible for the lives of all in Soul Society. You are the last line of defense, the highest members of the Court Guard Squads. There are only thirteen [13] Taicho at any time in the Soul Society, and each bears a job of their own to do that they are, at all times, required to perform. • Shikai »»» ~ Mastered ~ • Bankai »»» ~ Mastered ~ • Perfect Bankai »»» ~ In Progress ~
{→ A - R a n k // F u k u - T a i c h o }
You are a Lieutenant, the second in command of your division. Your loyalty is absolute, the lives of those in your division your primary concern. You are the right hand man/woman who helps your Captain/Taicho perform his duties, or run errands, depending on the personality of your superior. Unfortunately it falls to you to exemplify the expected characteristics of your division, despite being the second in command, and all of Soul Society will look to you as the exemplification of your division. If you are lazy, then your division will bear the stereotype of being lazy. Your power is great compared to those lower in seat than you are, but you are not equal to a Taicho.
{→ B - R a n k // F o u r t h - F i f t h S e a t }
The fourth and fifth seats are the Fuku-taicho to the Fuku-Taicho, often assisting in important matters such as rounding up members for meetings, delivering personal messages to other Fuku-taicho, and all around being the lackeys of the Fuku-taicho. These seats are also reserved for the only other members that personally assist the Taicho and Fuku-taicho in the duties of the division, often being two of the few who know the inner workings of this duty. They oversee the Sixth through Eighth seats, and often train those same seats in the rudimentary levels of their shikai and the duties they are to perform should they attain the next seat above them.
{→ C - R a n k // S i x t h - E i g h t h S e a t }
Sixth through eighth seats are a bit on the odd side, somewhere between official and unseated in the hierarchy of the division. These are the members who, when higher seats are unable to, or simply unwilling to, train the unseated members in standard combat and in standard Kidou. At the end of the day it is these seats that decide if the unseated are rightfully chosen in their division, and to recommend to their Taicho a transfer to another division should another division better suit the unseated member.
{→ D - R a n k // U n s e a t e d }
Unseated Members are the grunts of any division, the standard soldier that often is used up, or dies, in the anime/manga. This does not mean your mission is to die, no, your mission is to train and grow stronger, to attain a Seat in another division or the one you have chosen. You are the next generation of Shinigami, of Soul Reaper, and it is up to you to set the groundwork for those who come after you. While the weakest fully fledged Shinigami, your opportunities are great and your lifestyle choices many. Choose wisely.
{→ E - R a n k // A c a d e m y S t u d e n t }
You are the Academy Student, the lowest of the low. You were just picked out of the Districts as someone with the potential to be a Shinigami. Training in the Academy will not be easy, not by a long shot, especially with an ailing, decrepit instructor who is blind and near-deaf. But upon graduation you are allowed to choose a division to join, contrary to the old ways of getting chosen, at which point you are trained by the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Seats of your division. But that is for later. For now something far more important is at hand, something that may make you, or break you: your education as a Shinigami.

Kidō Kidō ("demon way", or "spirit way" sometimes translated as Demon Arts, or "Spells") is the technique that Shinigami use to focus their Spiritual Energy into a wide variety of magic spells that can serve many purposes, such as healing, defense, or combat. It is one of the four basic Shinigami combat forms.
The Kidō Corps is a branch of Soul Society's military which excels in the mastery of Kidō. Kido Mechanics Each spell is graded on a scale from 1 to 110, the latter being the most powerful and the most difficult to perform. The scale is a measure of difficulty, as there can be multiple spells which share the same level. To use Kidō, a Shinigami must recite the specific incantation for the spell, which is often long and requires a few seconds to speak.
The power of a spell relies on the power of the user, as even a low-level spell can be utterly devastating when utilized by a high-class Shinigami.
Kidō can also be used for practical purposes as well. A kidō spell can be used to light a dark hallway if the spell is tweaked in the right way.Kidō Reiatsu Requirements Each use of Kidō requires a certain number of points to be deducted from your reiatsu point pool. These are listed below:
Kidou 101-110 ~~> 500 points Kidou 81-100 ~~> 450 points Kidou 71-80 ~~>350 points Kidou 61-70 ~~>200 points Kidou 31-60 ~~> 150 points Kidou 1-30 ~~> 100 pointsKidō Types There are three main types of Kidō: binding spells, destruction spells, and healing spells.
--->Bakudō ("Way of Binding"): These are a broad category of defensive spells which block/repel attacks or freezes enemies in place. --->Hadō ("Way of Destruction"): These are offensive spells which harm an enemy or cause damage to objects. --->Healing spells: These do not have known names, numbers, or incantations to cast, and simply heal the target. As the user holds his/her hands above the patient's wounds, his/her palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing. The mechanics of this healing technique involves the replenishment of the patient's Reiatsu first, before the body's Reiatsu works with the healer's Reiatsu in order to heal the patient's body.Kidō Combat Though Kidō is commonly used by Shinigami in combat, it has several weaknesses that make it difficult to use for that purpose. All of the spells have fairly long incantations and require concentration; because of this, the person using the Kidō leaves themselves open to attack during the duration of the incantation.
In addition, if an opponent is familiar with Kidō, there is the possibility of them identifying the spell by its incantation before it can even be used. However, highly skilled Kidō users can use various techniques to counter these weaknesses, such as Eishōhaki, Kōjutsu Eishō and Nijū Eishō ("Double Incantation"), which involves mixing the incantations of two or more Kidō spells together to save time and confuse ones' opponent.
A rarer use of Kidō is mixing various spells (such as Bakudō and Hadō together) for unique effects, which is the mark of a skilled user.
Kidō is commonly seen used in instances of surprise attacks, rather then all-out assaults, being most effective when one's opponent doesn't see it coming. Kidō is also usable with just the spell name and no incantation or spell number.

Rikujōkōrō (Six Rods Prison of Light) Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. Ryubi no Jōmon (The Gate of Dragon Tail) The technique works by creating over a dozen pillars which are arranged by hand gestures, making them form a gigantic shield or door-like barrier between the caster and the opponent. Non-Spells The only people able to use Shunko are:
2nd Division Captain - Perfect Shunko 2nd Division Lieutenant - Imperfect Shunko
No others, without express permission from Lanfaer or Mana, may have Shunko at any time! Shunkō (Flash Cry): An advanced secret battle technique that combines the grappling technique of Hakuda and the incantation technique of Kidō. It is an ultra-powerful technique in which one drives Kidō into one's arms and legs. The Kidō itself can also be controlled and fired at opponents from the body. The keisen uniform has no back or sleeves because the fabric will rip apart when the user's back and arms are filled with Kidō. It could be said that Shunkō is a secret technique used by the Corps Commander of the Executive Militia. The uniform worn when punishment is carried out is specifically geared for Shunkō. Hanki (Reverse Demon): An ability which nullifies an opponent's Kidō by hitting it with another one of perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even neutralize an opponent's movements.
