Seireitei

The grand festival of Seireitei has begun. It is June 11th and the day is sunny. This festival contains many side attractions, but the main event being a giant spar between any and all whom want to participate. While this is going on however, many other games and events are available to partake in. The festival is being held at the beautiful area of the Eastern mountains of the Rukongai, home to many of the most marvelous ruins of Seireitei, which also contains the traditional festival grounds. The setting is high in the mountains, which is all the eye can see far beyond. Booths and stalls are set up all along the mountain side, the sparing arena is located at t
he top of the mountain, closed in by ancient stone walls.

The ninth division captain, Majin Ulrich, after finishing almost all of his paper work and handling all the interviews an meetings, was able to take a break from his work and participate in the soul society's yearly grand festival. The minute he stepped foot into the perimeter of the festival the first thing on his mind was where he could find the nearest booth that would serve meat. He stopped when he felt a rubber ball bounce off the back of his head. He turned to see two children come and pick the ball up. He didn't necessarily give them a glare, but instead a mean look that would get the point across to the two. Soon after the two kids left he resumed his hunt for a nearby barbecue stand.

Yuudai Iwate

Jūbantai Fukutaichou

I've Traveled far to meet with you...

Yuudai had heard about the festival that was now taking place in Seireitei, it was early in the morning and he wasn't interested in the hustle and bustle of what he knew would be full of peasants selling and bargaining off sovereigns and trinkets for money. Peddlers and scammers would be hard at work trying to take advantage of any and all who were gullible enough to fall for their tricks of the trade. Yuudai was doing a morning patrol along the Northern end of Rukongai, he found a few thugs, but he decided they weren't worth his time, petty thieves stealing from those not strong enough to defend themselves, they were killing, and unless they were, he only gave a shrug and an uninterested attitude toward the situation, he really didn't care all that much. It was now mid-day and Yuudai was bored. Usually by this time he was arguing with fellow shinigami, or making crude comments towards others. But, everyone, seemed to have vanished, at first he was slightly curious, stopping from time to time looking down alleyway and streets, with a raised eyebrow he wondered, before growing bored. He jumped upon a roof and sat down. Yuudai began thinking about the grand festival and how everyone must be enjoying it.

Yuudai was pleasantly resting atop a building located directly in front of the stair leading up to the court of pure souls, he wasn't on watch duty, but there were lots of problems here, thugs and all constantly trying to get in, he liked to watch fighting, but he prefered to be in them, shinigami or thugs, it didn't really matter who attacked him, he'd still attack. Yuudai, not by want, was almost forced to come to the festival grounds, as Seireitei was completely drained of any living creatures due to it, and as such, he couldn't get into any interesting fights or arguments, so, he want to wherever he could get that chance. As Yuudai disregarded all the old women and elderly men beckoning him to come by and buy something at their shop, he was figuring out where he was going in this maze of people. Yuudai was not one for purchasing meaningless items, and all what he saw was absolute crap. Yuudai stopped in the middle of a busy intersection, where people were walking all over, barely missing bumping into him. He placed his hand gently on his sword, rocking it back and forth, wondering in which direction he should continue, he looked down two directions, one was filled with more booths, and eventually led to the edge of the cliff, the other led to the top of the mountains and to the grand spar pit. He walked up the path, the ground upon which he walked was clean and well kept, but the buildings around him, which seemed to have been there for centuries, were falling apart and rubble was pilled at their bases. Yuudai noticed a small cluster of birds huddled together around the top of a large stone pillar, that might have been apart of a larger building at one time. Yuudai watched them for a moment, it was a family, the mother and father were sitting steadfast above their eggs, watching and protecting. The nest was slightly ripped on the left, the wind was gently blowing away the bits of straw and paper that they used to make it. Yuudai found this rather amusing, for the reason that, no matter how strong these small creatures thought they were, there was an infinite amount of stronger forces that could easily wipe their existence away, Yuudai felt that way too about Seireitei. He continued on his way, after giving a nod to the two parent birds.

As Yuudai approached the top of the mountains, he noticed that there were tons of people in the stands, talking, as the main event had yet to take place, or any signs of it beginning were not evident. Yuudai strolled through the arch which led to the the grounds, after entering he stopped and looked around, the sky seemed larger from where he stood in the giant coliseum, it was a clear day indeed, there wasn't a cloud in sight, though it wasn't an overly hot day, which he liked. He walked further in, noticing a few large boulders in his way, this looked like a very interesting place to do battle, he decided that he would take part in the events soon to follow. He put a hand through his long odd hair and brushed it back, after a gust of wind blew it up and made it messy. He entered into the bleachers, passing a few woman who seemed nervous at his approach, he only smiled and waved, he was curious to see where his captain might be, or if he was even around the festival area, he couldn't sense him anywhere, but he wondered if he might show up for this fighting event, he hadn't spent much with his new captain, but he wasn't one for sentimental, and to him, trivial nonsense. So, Yuudai didn't put too much care into what his Captain was doing. Yuudai sat down in a chair nearest the top of the stadium stands, he sat back, placing his feet on the stone bench in front of him, resting back, and placing his hands behind his head, he relaxed, not falling asleep, but waiting to see when this sparring event would take place, he was urging for a fight, he couldn't wait.

...and you've completely disappointed me, I shall kill you

Linuen Frost
Third Seat, Seventh Division

"YES! TAKE THAT!" Linuen yelled at the top of his lungs.

The people around him clapped and applauded as they watched him in awe. Linuen greatly enjoyed this opportunity and tried his best to look cool and somehow, awesome. He smiled at the nearest girl, who blushed furiously at his warm smile, and winked at her (the girl hyperventilated as she walked away). Then, he grabbed his prize winnings from the stall owner (who grumbled madly under his breath) and walked off with a big smile on his face. He swore that he would be telling this story to his captain, Shizuka, with great enthusiasm. Maybe exaggerate some information from time to time, too.

When he walked off quite far from the last stall, he passed by Majin Ulrich, the Ninth Division captain, eating madly like some unknown figure at the barbecue stall. He giggled to himself and let him drown himself from the flood of people around the festival area. It was nice to have some break from work though he doubted if he ever did some work on the first place. He laughed to himself as some people eyed him curiously, thinking that he must be mad or something.

Shizuka emerged suddenly from the shadows, quietly standing in the background, blending into the crowd and attempting at all costs, to simply not attract attention. Then again, what had she come out for anyway? After all, she had finished all her work early and had been toiling for the past few days, barely having any time to break. Well, at least now, she had some time off to participate in Seireitei's yearly festival. Stretching and yawning slightly, she cricked her neck, before slipping through the crowds. She had let off all of the members of her Division early as she knew that this would be a welcome rest for her. Hopefully, everything would go alright, because she had had to negotiate certain things for this particular festival, as she was the ‘link’ between Rukongai and Seireitei. It seemed all worth it now, just to see so many people enjoying themselves and generally having fun. A look of pure longing appeared on her face as she wandered through the Eastern Mountains of the Rukongai, something that she always wanted to do as a child. Memories emerged and a sad smile flickered through her face momentarily. The sight of this brought back more nostalgia than she had hoped. She let out a deep sigh. Perhaps it was about time for her to visit her parents and make time for that, as she had been simply too busy recently. “How fast time flies,” she whispered to herself, twirling a flower in her hand.

She passed by several stalls and booths, before realizing the fact that she had just passed her own Third Seat. Hurriedly backtracking, she managed to catch his smile and wink at the nearest girl. Hmm. It looked as if there were a few things that she didn’t know about Linuen, especially that he was such a ladies’ man. Quietly grinning to herself, she watched him and tracked his movements, before following him, keeping several steps behind him. She almost lost him when he disappeared into the flood of people, but luckily, she managed to just catch the smallest glimpse of his hair. For the meantime, she merely observed him, staring from a distance, until he started laughing to nobody in particular and people started to eye him. Fantastic. Perhaps Linuen had finally cracked from all the pressure. She gave a cold, hard stare to the inquisitive people, telling them plainly that there was nothing for them to see there. Waiting until they moved away, she glided next to him, before poking him on the forehead with two fingers. “Congratulations on the win, Linuen,” she told him, “And by the way, who was that girl? An admirer of yours perhaps?” She tilted her head to one side, an impish smile on her face.

→→⋯ All morning Ashley was in the hospital healing all the patients, whether it was a simple sickness or a deep cut from training she just wanted everyone cleared from the hospital. There were a lot more people hear than usual which was kind of odd, but when you work at a hospital, you don't want to see anyone there ever. After everyone as cured she started helping the lower seats with supplies and everything, she figured she should work with her squad more often other than just being there during emergencies. Someone came up to her later in and suggested that she took a break and go to the yearly festival the Seireitei was having. She didn't really want to go, but she was interested to see what it was like going to a festival since she's never been to one. So she gave in the the girls wishes and finished the small work she was doing. She went to her office and grabbed her Captain's Robe and zanpakutou and headed out to the said festival in the Seireitei.

When she first arrived she wasn't surprised to what was here, just a bunch of stands and booths for people to waste their money on and most likely get scammed out of everything in their pocket. As she walked through the heavy crowds she started to get uncomfortable from how close everyone was getting. She finally made her way out of the large crowd and into a small opening. An older man saw her behind his stand. "Hey there little lady! Why don't you take a shot at this? I'll make the first game free just for you!" He said with a laugh and a creepy smile. Ashley turned her head over to him with a small glare but decided to take the free game he offered. There were stacked bottles and you had to knock them over with these three small balls. Alone the large bottles would seem to be impossible to knock over with the small spheres but the old man also glued the bottles together. Tossing the first ball up and down in her right hand she flicked her wrist sending the ball crashing into the bottom middle bottle. The small bottle went through the bottle and shattered it into a thousand pieces. The old mad yelled out a long "Whaaat?!" as he watched in shock. knowing that the bottles were glued together already Ashley flicked the second ball shattering the bottom right bottle. The glue couldn't hold the structure up do to the lack of balance and all the bottled fell over without shattering. "What have you done?!" Was all the old man said knowing he was bested.

Ashley didn't stay to get her prize, she just wanted to teach that man a lesson about scamming people. Previous people who lost their money were apparently watching and also found out that the old man cheated them out. So now a crowd was around the stand full of people demanding their money back. She kept watching and noticed Ulrich Taichou at a food stand, and Shizuka Taichou talking to Linuen. But she finally made her way to a bench where less people were. She sat with one knee over the other and lighting a cigarette that was picked up from the human world. She took one inhale and closed her eyes before leaning back and letting the smoke run out between her soft lips. She rested her left arm over her waist and her right up over the other arm and holding the cigarette between her fingers. Her eyes looked over without her head turning watching the others walk by, a couple of them noticing she was a captain and decided to keep walking. Ashley was going to participate in the massive spar between other captains and lieutenants but Ashley's abilities weren't very sparring friendly. Of course she didn't have to use them but then she would just be at a disadvantage. Who knows, she might just in case something bad happened to one of the Shinigami sparring, but she most likely won't be participating in the fights. For now she'll stay here on this lonely bench until she finishes her cigarette or if someone comes and talks to her.

Ichibantai Taichou

Adachi Taizo

It had been a long week for Adachi, the plans for the festival fell on his lap, and his Lieutenant was of no help, she decided she had better things to do and abandoned him. Luckily, he had help from a rather eager volunteer, Kyuuai from squad three was a fanatic when it came to these sorts of things, so help was no what Adachi was getting, rather, someone completely taking over, though he wasn't one to complain. Adachi awoke that morning tired but rather excited, it was today that the grand festival was to begin, however, his morning started off rather, dismal. After a few bad incidences with tables, chairs and even a window at once point, Adachi finally left his estate and ventured out towards the Festival grounds. He was accompanied by his usual guard, though once they were approaching the festival grounds after almost three hours, he dismissed them, and they left to survey the event. He made his way up the hill towards the booths and stalls, he knew these attractions all to well, money hungry men and women from Rukongai trying their best to scam and steal from passerby's, but he didn't think of it that way, he never did, he always found it all rather entertaining.

Adachi walked through the event grounds with a very peaceful demeanor, happily expressing his amazement for the several street performers, though they were cowering towards him. He made his way down a large steep hill before resting a bit. This mountain side was truly gigantic, it was so much to take in that Adachi didn't think he'd have the time. After passing by several booths, and making his war around many peddlers and so called Business men, with all their many opportunities for Adachi to invest in, he finally made it away from the large crowd and had a chance to settle down and take a relaxing walk instead of being badgered by stupidity. "Ah, away from that, though I cannot help but smile to see everyone so high in spirits." Adachi was not one for low morale and discontent. Adachi was of course making his way to the sparing grounds, as he was to announce their opening and they were supposed to begin officially any moment. "I suppose I cannot delay any longer." Though he could have been there within seconds, he decided instead to take in the last stretch of scenery and amazement, it was not often he had this chance so he didn't want to rush it.

It was on the slightly destroyed stone pathway that he noticed Ashely sitting by herself on a rather desolate old bench. He smiled as he approached, stopping and bowing. "Good-day, it's wonderful to see some captains have actually attended the festival. And how are you doing, Ashely Taichou?" Adachi sat down on the open spot beside her, however, the arm of the bench was missing. "I'm making my way to the festivals sparring grounds, there are a lot of contenders from what I've been told, everyone is always up for having a good fight, it seems that's the only thing that truly peaks anyones interest anymore, is getting down and rough with another person, hoping to rip them from piece to piece." He gave a slight chuckle and it analogy. For a captain commander, he acted too comfortably and too casual, though, perhaps that's what made him more approachable then previous ranks before him.

Eight Division Captain

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.It is through skill that we fight

At the entrance to the grounds where the festival was taking place, a small group of people stood as they conversed with each other. Though there were several groups like them, they stood out the most amongst the throng of people, as one of them wore the uniform of a Shinigami Captain, while the other wore the robes emblazoned with the symbol for one of Rukongai’s lesser noble houses, both of them accompanied by two or three armed guards. The younger of the two spoke to the Captain ”But big brother, please be reasonable. You may be a Shinigami, but you’re still a member of our house.” spoke the man as he pleaded with Yukito, the Shinigami Captain.

Shaking his head slightly Yukito patted his younger brother’s shoulder ”Little brother, I appreciate your concern. But being escorted by a guard, while being a Shinigami myself, would seem highly inappropriate.” he smiled briefly, which was quite a rarity even amongst his family ”Besides, it would complicate things, seeing as how I intend to take part in the main event.” spoke Yukito, his hand patting his zanpakuto’s hilt, much to the spirit’s delight.

Upon realization of his big brother’s intentions, the younger brother was flabbergasted as he stuttered out ”M-main event?! Big brother, that’s much too dangerous! What if you got hurt? Mother, father and I, would--“ however, he was interrupted by Yukito, as the Shinigami ruffled his hair, something he had not done in quite a while.

Shaking his head once more, Yukito spoke ”Little brother, I am a Shingaimi, danger and battle are my duties, just as peace and order are yours.” with that he lifted his hand from his younger brother’s head and proceeded to bow towards him ”Now, if you’ll excuse me, the house head should try and enjoy himself without the presence of his Shinigami brother, don’t you think so?” with that he waved goodbye to his little brother as he made his way through the throng of people, much to the man’s exasperation.

The day was beautiful, not too hot that it would weaken one’s body, but without rain that it would ruin the festivities. And the scene was one that almost took Yukito’s breath away, he had only seen such scenery in paintings, but the real thing was much, much better in comparison. Walking through several stalls, noticing the odd items up for sale and the numerous competitions, he saw the figure of the Captain-Commander, Adachi Taizo, and was about to approach him to pay him the proper respects, but noticed that he was conversing with another fellow Captain, Ashley. Deciding that it would be rude to interrupt them, Yukito continued on, until he chanced upon a rather surprising person, Captain Shizuka Hatomi, who too was conversing with her third seat, Linuen Frost. Seeing as how he had nowhere else to kill the time, he decided to approach the two of them, but took care not to interrupt anything, thus his approach was rather slow and as much as he tried not to, it was punctuated by awkward second-thoughts, after all, the brief sparring he had with the Captain was rather, interesting, to say the least.

Niashi was sitting with an old friend from Rukongai, talking about the old days when a messenger came by and told her the news about the festival that was taking place. She was slightly annoyed that her time was interrupted, but, she only smiled and thanked the man. She looked to her friend and nodded. "I hope I see you at the festival when you close your cafe down." She bowed then left. Niashi, left, first to stop by the third division to grab some of her apparel. After entering her room, she took a sun hat, sun lotion, a light sweater. She changed her shinigami outfit to a beautiful old fashioned light kimono. "Ah, now that's better. Too nice a day to be waring such dreadful clothing." Niashi backed a few more things into a bag and then left out the door, putting on a pair of sun glasses. She skipped happily towards the Festival grounds.

She was a bit stunned out how big this mountain was, after all, she wasn't often around this area, so, really, she hardly knew it existed, but she wondered how it was she hadn't noticed it before, it was after all, too big to miss, even all the way back in the Seireitei. Niashi had been walking for hours now, she thought to herself before leaving that walking all the distance would be fun and entertaining, but now, that she had walked all this way, she really wasn't interested, her feet were killing her, it was the shoes she had changed into, more modern day sandals, it was a mistake to say the least. When she had finally arrived at the hustle and bustle, she was annoyed beyond measure, she had a tad bit of sun burn, a headache, sore feet, her shoulders were aching from the bag, which seemed to have grown in weight, she couldn't help but want to just fall over and die.

Niashi was walking down a path when an old man ran to her and threw a notice in her face, something about how she could have happiness if she bought some trinket. The piece of paper sat on her face for a minuet, after it fell, it looked like as if Niashi had been possessed by some sort of demon, her eyes burned with an amazing furry, her hand came up and wrapped around his neck. "I'd pray, for your own well being, that I don't come across you again." She threw the man down to the ground, who fled in fear. She turned around in a huff and tripped, she went tumbling over, everything falling out of her bag, she was heading to a small cliff, after going off, she hit something soft, for a split second it surprised her, but she had landed on Yukito. "Oh!" She yelled after the commotion had ended.

→→⋯ As Ashley sat on the bench, her gaze faced up to the sky. It seemed to be the perfect day for this kind of celebration, rain would ruin everything, not that Ashley didn't enjoy the rain she actually likes rain, which is rare among normal people. She inhaled again to the cigarette, and noticed someone approaching her in the corner of her eye. Letting out the smoke in front of her and not at newcomer him being the Captain-Commander, she nodded her head to him as he bowed with respect. He mentioned that he was glad to see Captain's actually coming to the festival. She couldn't see why not, then again, she most likely wouldn't of came here if one of her seats didn't ask her to take a brake and visit. Ashley wouldn't tell the Captain-Commander though, it would be disrespectful and he would probably frown upon it. She had to admit though, it wasn't as bad as she thought it would be, the main event should be good even though she wasn't participating. Letting out another puff of smoke her head turned to Adachi after he asked how she was doing. Her legs stayed crossed, and she looked back up at the sky when he sat down next to her. "The day just seems too perfect don't you think? It feels like anything could happen at any minute." She said having nothing to do to what Adachi asked her and letting out her cautious feelings about perfect days or quiet nights. The bad thing was, she was usually right about her paranoia. Before he could respond she looked over at him with a very small smile. "I'm alright though, thanks for asking." She said respectively to the Captain-Commander.

Adachi mentioned he was on his way to the sparring grounds, where the main event was going to be held. When Ashley heard that there was going to be a lot of contenders she frowned a little bit. That only meant that more people could end up in her medical facility. Not that she was lazy of work she just didn't want to see anyone hurt in there. "In a place where everyone is only entertained by beating each other to death, what has this world come to?" She said in a rather calm tone along with the elegance that came from her voice. Of course she was stating this humorously, she wasn't as dreadful as she looked you know. Adachi was different form most of the Captain-Commanders, not that she knew them, but from the stories she's heard of from retired Captains back when she was younger. Stories where they were serious in every situation and practically sucked the life out of everything. Adachi was a lot more open and delightful, she actually felt comfortable talking to him like this. Ashley brought the cigarette to her lips again and inhaled, soon blowing the smoke out calmly before turning back to the Captain-Commander. "I never asked how the almighty Captain-Commander was, how are you today?" Ashley asked in a playful manner with a small smile. She started twirling the cigarette between her fingers, miraculously without burning herself like she was a pro as she waited for Adachi's response.

((It's kinda cute the most of us mention others in passing... I dunno why I'm so amused by this though. XD))

Linuen Frost
Third Seat, Seventh Division

Linuen smiled to himself wider and the people around him began to panic, albeit they tried to conceal their rather freaked out senses as they bustled away from the third seat. Then, as expected, he held out his arm and then faced Shizuka just in time as she greeted him. He'd been having that feeling for a while that someone had been following him. How could he have missed it? Shizuka again. He giggled to himself again but this time wondering why he's so... bouncy and happy?

"Congratulations on the win, Linuen," she told him, "And by the way, who was that girl? An admirer of yours perhaps?" She followed. Linuen's mouth hung open in surprise. How long had his captain been spying?! The third seat gloated in horror as he thought of his failure in noticing Shizuka's presence. He immediately turned to his back, brushing furiously.

"That's not of your business, Shizuka-Taichou! And weren't our task is Sereitei-Rukongai diplomacy? It's part of the work I'm doing!" Linuen reasoned horribly. He was fighting a losing battle. Oh, he was going to be teased for this.

He blushed again as he turned his attention to the Fourth Division captain from the distance, puffing from a cigarette. Hmmm. Interesting. Coming from a healing division. He wanted to laugh but stopped the thought immediately as she was joined a moment later by Adachi, the captain-commander. He wanted to shout out loud for not noticing their reiatsu all over the place. He was just in time to see Yukito Shun, the Eight Division captain, approaching them awkwardly. Whoa. Too many captains at the same time. Linuen felt like fainting.

But the third seat was able to let out a yelp of shock as a figure fell down on Yukito out of nowhere. "HOLY HOLLOWS! ARE YOU OKAY, MISS?!" Linuen exclaimed in shock.

Shizuka grinned to herself, all aspects of her more playful self emerging now. He was so goddamn cute sometimes, even though she didn’t mention it to him aloud, since it was a rather demeaning thing to be considered. It seemed like he was trying to either hide something, or was ashamed about the fact that he had not noticed her presence sooner. She leaned over, ruffling his hair like she always did. “Ah, Linuen,” she sighed, “Well, if that’s part of your work, so many more would join, wishing their work was that way too, right?” The devilish smile had not vanished and even now, it was so fun to be able to tease her Third Seat. This was one of the few ways that she conveyed affection of a kind, since half the time, she either sealed her emotions away or pushed them away from herself. Her sharp eyes caught sight of the Fourth Division Captain and the Captain-Commander himself, but she merely watched them chatter for a bit, waiting for a reason from Linuen.

However, she found herself unfortunately like Linuen himself, as soon as she noticed a familiar presence – Yukito Shun. She had been about to curse in a very unladylike manner, but decided against it at the last minute, knowing that it would do nothing for their already rocky relationship. Their spar, which was the cause of all this awkwardness, had been a while ago but she had tested a new ability on him and her mischievous zanpakuto spirit had somehow gotten it into her mind to interfere and cement the abilities. Thus, she had been left with a love-sick Yukito and Yukito’s rather angry zanpakuto spirit. Though it had all been rectified, it had been most embarrassing afterwards, to even look him in the eye. Summoning all her courage, she fended off the blush that was threatening to appear and welcomed him with a smile, saying, “Oh, Shun-Taichō, how nice of you to join us. Have you ha--” Her words were abruptly cut off as a figure suddenly fell down on Yukito out of nowhere. Raising an eyebrow at her Third Seat’s choice of words, she leant forward, pulling the girl to her feet. As she did so, she accidentally brushed against Yukito’s neck, her mind immediately jumping back to their spar. Jerking back her hand suddenly, she looked distinctively disheveled for a moment, before pulling herself together. She couldn’t get affected by this again. “Are you alright?” she asked the other girl quickly, wondering exactly what could have possessed this girl to fall out of nowhere.

Noticing Shizuka’s initial reaction towards his approach, Yukito was honestly feeling the same way. Their spar was a rather eventful one, not so much that both of them were push to their physical limits, nor the fact that they decided to call it a draw, but because of something that the Captain would rather keep private. Despite his awkward feelings however, Yukito knew it would not be proper to back out now, and was a bit relieved that Shizuka had taken the initiative of the two to greet him. Opening his mouth to word out a response to Shizuka and Linuen, Yukito was abruptly cut short as Niashi tumbled on top of him. Completely caught off guard, Yukito ended up flattened underneath Niashi, who, thankfully, was relatively light.

Sensing Niashi’s weight lifted on top of him, Yukito felt the slight touch of Shizuka’s hand on his neck, causing the Captain to recheck himself emotionally. He was confident that the effect of Shizuka’s zanpakuto had worn off, but he could had been wrong ”Yukito...” stammered out Yukito’s zanpakuto from inside his mind, obviously irked ”Do I have to come out there and teach both of you a lesson, again?” she nagged him as he slowly stood back up, Kasumi’s light reprimanding allowing him to regain his posture ”No, that won’t be necessary. Thank you Kasumi.” he replied as the zanpakuto spirit faded back in a huff.

Dusting himself off, he faced Niashi first as he nodded ”That was quite a fall, you are unhurt I hope?” he asked as he faced Linuen and Shizuka properly. Nodding once more to both of them, he spoke to them in a calm and formal fashion, befitting of a noble, but odd for a Shinigami, something he had hoped to correct sometime in the near future ”Continuing off, yes, Captain Hatomi, such a pleasant day should be shared with others.” turning a bit to face Linuen, he spoke to him in the same tone ”And this must be a member of your Division, correct? It is a pleasure to meet you, my name is Yukito Shun.” he greeted him as he briefly bowed towards him before facing him once more. True his demeanor would most likely come off as odd and over the top, but that was how he was trained, to approach each situation as calmly and as properly as possible, and he was doing just that, at least he hoped he was.

Niashi rubbed the back of her head for a moment while talking to herself. "Who put that cliff there?" She was totally annoyed now. "Yukito, your what did I hit my head on? What part of your body could possibly feel like I hit a block of steel?" Then she thought that she must have hit her head on his sword, though it dawned on her that she was in the presence of two Captains and a 3rd seat officer, she scrambled to her feet in a rush, hoping that Yukito hadn't noticed her blatant disregard for formalities. She threw herself down to the ground to Yukito. "My sincerest apologies! Shun Taichou!" She bowed, she thought she would be in a world of trouble now, but then again, Yukito, having had someone fall on him, remained with a very calm and laid back demeanor, or at least she thought so, she wasn't good at picking up on peoples personal feelings.

When she stood she bowed to Shizuka and Linuen. "Good day all. Niashi, third seat of the Sanbantai division at your service." She felt overly embarrassed in front of the three, she had shamed herself and her squad in front of two captains. "Well, I hate to be even more rude then I've already been, but I'm trying to find my Captain, I don't suppose you've seen him have you? He must be lurking around here somewhere, but I can't see to find him, he's such an evasive individual, wouldn't you agree? Ahaha." She was trying to make light of the situation, in other words, changing the topic from her "Accident".

Sanbantai Taichou

Yokozuki Nekkyo

"Watch your words girly." Yokozuki, appearing out of nowhere, was now standing by his squad member, a look of complete and utter 'You failure as a shinigami' written all over his face, he, having witnessed the event from afar, was not at all impressed by what she had done, veins were appearing in his head, though it was not out remorse for Yukito, Yokozuki was never bothered by the feelings of others, only himself, that was very important. "Honestly I wonder how it is you've even become a shinigami, I guess it's my own fault for being far to forgiving for such obvious faults." He turned from Niashi, waving his hand in the air at her as if to rid himself of her impudence. Yokozuki let out a sigh, tapping his sword periodically, a finger to his lip as if deep in thought about something, something he wanted to do but knew it was completely unethical. Putting his hands in the air he dismissed the thought with a smile

Turning his attention, he focused on Yukito and Shizuka. "So, are you two making your way to the sparring grounds? I'm hearing from reliable sources that this is a spectacle not to be missed, though I highly doubt it could be that interesting." He folded his hands into his sleeves, crossing his arms and nodding in agreement to his own comment."This is the first time I've attended this festival, but I'm really not a people person, as I'm sure you've heard through all sorts of rumors and tales." He laughed because he knew what he was saying was true. "Well, anyways, sorry about the run in Yukito, next time, it might be best to put the cretin out of its misery, you know, in case it gets to you again." He walked by Shizuka, up the path towards the sparring grounds, waving a hand as he left, leaving Niashi wondering if he was joking or not, though usually with Yokozuki, anything sarcastic was never a joke, even besides that, he just plain and simply never joked.
