 It was a common thing that affected all cubs, no matter how energetic or lively. Once in a while it happened, and there was nothing that anybody could really do to prevent it; The Dreaded Nap Attack. Warisha herself had succumbed to it, and had stayed down in a peaceful and deep slumber as nobody came by to wake her. But now, she was awake; but not completely so. The little cub stretched out as far as she could go, even extending her tail as far as she could. Sure she managed to occupy a lot of space for such a small thing, but she couldn't help it. Stretching was important!
Rubbing one of her green eyes with her paw, Isha looked around sleepily, trying to figure out what she had been doing, where she was, and more importantly what to do now that she was awake again.

 Yes, indeed Nesrin also succumb to the terrible plague affecting cubs throughout the world. He to, was forced into random fits of napping! Though since he’s gotten older he seems to be able to fight it more, but it went against a lion’s nature to simply never nap. Lions napped a good chunk of the day away typically. But right now he wasn’t tired, he was sitting on a rock, staring off into the distance. Some of his elder brothers left not too long ago on their right of passage to bring home females. When it was his turn…could he do it? Could he bring a female home and earn his rightful place in the pride? And for that matter, would he ever get his own banu? What father would give their daughters to a sterile half breed? Nesrin sighed at this, he was so self conscious over his heritage….he just wished he was…normal. Not a freak anyways.
His ears perked up a little when he noticed the stretching cub, as he got down from his rock, kneeling in the grass a little as he walked closer. He hadn’t met this one yet, there were so many cubs in the pride, it wasn’t so strange that he didn’t know a good chunk of them. It wasn’t like he was from a high ranking family, his father was just the typical pad. Simply one that…had many, many offspring.
He wondered for a moment if he should speak to her, would she want to speak to him? Or would she run away? It was hard to tell….hmm…he sort of just…stood there as he contemplated his next move.

Well, she couldn't remember how she'd gotten here. She'd probably been playing, or leaning against one of her many sisters. Moreso she couldn't figure out what she wanted to do next. So, with a bored sigh, the cub flopped right back onto her belly, her tail flicking this way and that behind her, swatting flies nearby. Her attempt to put her head down was paused when she caught sight of her tail out of the corner of her eye, and with a gleeful noise she made her own game; get the thing! She didn't often see her tail, and hey it was enough fun on her own! Giggling, she rolled over onto her back, the brown tuft caught between her cream paws, gumming happily at the very tips of it...and she caught sight of something else.
Some was sitting on a rock?
Blinking wide green eyes, she slowly stopped chewing on her own tail and rolled back onto her belly. With as much nonchalance as she could muster, she sat up properly, pawing at the end of her tail to straighten out the pieces she mussed. No, she hadn't been doing something silly! Of course not. She was innocent. Proper. Yes.
She stared at the hybrid boy, opening her mouth as though to say something...but she stopped at the last moment, closing it and staying quiet. She had been told time and time again to not speak to a male unless spoken to first! So she was going to be a good girl and wait for the male to introduce himself.
Though she was staring at him curiously. She hadn't ever seen a hybrid before!

Nesrin suddenly realized he’d been spotted as he quickly lowered his head into the grass. Why was he so embarrassed? So…nervous? He was just like that. A shy cub. He knew that as a male he shouldn’t be, but he couldn’t help it. It was just how he was, in his nature. But he noticed that after a bit….she hadn’t said anything. She had been chasing her tail only moments before, and now she was…waiting? Oh right! He was a whimp but he was still a male! So that must be why! He was used to other females he met simply babbling on right away, without any real thought, so it was quite a surprise to see a girl who actually waited like she did.
“Um…hi. I’m Nesrin…who are you?” Okay, a very boring, straight forward thing to say. But he wasn’t sure what else he was suppose to say. He didn’t often play with cubs outside of his family, so it was quite the learning experience.

He...he was hiding? Huh. That was new. Her head tilted the other way at his behaviour, trying to figure him out from a distance. She was failing of course, but at least he was amusing her...because she really didn't look away from him. When he introduced himself, the little cub bounced to her feet and padded on over with a happy little bounce to her step. Sitting down again a little closer to him, she puffed up proudly, sitting as tall and straight as her clumsy body could.
"Good Afternoon." She offered, sounding more like a mostly bored recording than anything; like she was playing back something she had been told to say, but with her own little twist to it. Despite the strange tone, she was still happy.
"I'm Warisha!" Now onto topics that she liked better, that tiny bored little playback tone stopped. "Whattcha doin? Are you playing hide and seek?" Now that her proper introductions had been given, she shuffled forward with a bit of an excited wiggle, sniffing at him out of curiousity.

Nesrin was an odd cub, but he wasn’t bad. Just…shy. It wouldn’t be so strange had he been a girl, but no. He was a boy. A scardy cat boy with flowers on his pelt. All it took was his introduction, and the strange female suddenly began babbling on as if they were the best of friends.
He stared at her, rather dumbfounded, as he tried to figure out what she was going on about. But he did recognize something within that babble. “Oh well, I am not very good at hide and seek…” he said, wondering if it was the right choice to engage this particular female into conversation….though she wasn’t bad, or even annoying. Just, over baring for the timid juvenile.

She did open up pretty fast; he'd introduced himself, which meant she could talk, and he had yet to attempt to correct her behaviour...so she was safe. At least in her own head, anyway. With an affectionate little purr she moved to lay down in the grass, still in front of him.
"No? Well I guess not...you're a really pretty blue!" But it wouldn't make sense to hide in the grass with that particular colour, anyway. The girl looked incredibly thoughtful then, her brow furrowing in thought, her lower jaw leaning to the side. "Maybe...you could sit on a high rock on a sunny day! Hide in the sky, yeah?" She looked so proud of herself for thinking of this, and wiggled a little bit where she lay, her eyes closed with joy. Suddenly though, she stopped and stared at him like a thought occured to her. Wait! It wasn't a female's place to say things like that, right?
"I...I mean, uhm, if...if playing hide and seek were interesting to you..." Her happy wiggle became an uncertain fidget, shuffling with mild discomfort. "...Maybe." She murmured awkwardly, looking away with a bit of a pout. She was trying to hard to be a good girl!
