I want to get together a location list, because I've noticed, and had pointed out, that lots of us have specific places in mind for either the place of employment of a regular hang out that our gijinkas like to frequent.
By making a location list, people can submit their 'locations', so that new members, and even older members looking for someplace that creates more community and continuity within the guild, instead of having to create a new bar or park every time, can refer to. This way, there can be a general building up of this world that we can all relate to, and share with one another.
It would be a simple sticky thread in the roleplay sub-forum, easy enough that we could all look for.
It would also help to let us learn more about what other characters are doing, other than reading their profile or being in an rp with them, maybe opening up a realization that characters could interact. We want to get everyone writing with everyone else, after all.
I added in a poll so that the guild can decide if they like this idea or not. I might have to add another crew member though if we do this, because it will be more work. So the change may not be instant.

hm, It does seem a little bit wierd separating the main roleplay zone and then the gay bar roleplay zone, also, having a specific board dedicated to that might spite some of the more herterosexual characters.
But hey I do agree with you there; weeding through a giant pile of posts in one location like a barton town RP is certainly very annoying.
Maybe if it wasn't sexual orientation spefic it'd be a better idea?

That's true, it could just be a bar. Ryu isn't really the kind of guy that would discriminate.
And I know, I don't want to cause any problems with anyone. And I don't want any special treatment. Hell, I wouldn't be posting in most of the threads anyway. The moderation would be up to the guild leaders, and I would love to collaborate on the idea with anyone with input.

I think it'd be a fine roleplay but don't see why it would need its own sub-forum.
We aren't as active as barton town so I don't see it as needed. There aren't very many roleplays to sift through. Plus making one a sub-forum would warrant making other good roleplays into a sub-forum and then you'd have to sift through sub-forums.
Just my opinion >,<
Though as a roleplay, seems like a nice idea.
EDIT: oh and I think the guild is fine on funds xD there are a bunch of unused sub-forums and 90k in the guild bank.

All I can relate it too is that it's not like the murder mystery.
For me, when I write, I look at my rp threads almost like a book. I can read beginning to end and its all pertinent to what I'm going to be responding too. But when you have intermittent posts of things that don't connect to what you're doing, there is a loss on intimacy. It's like a shift out of the mood of creation into the reality that this is writing, if that makes sense.
Besides, I'm also a bit of a neat freak, and there's more organization by having it separated. But I completely understand the problem of then having to give other good locational ideas their own sub-forum(thank you for reminding me what the proper term for that was).

I have an idea, instead of a subforum, maybe it can just be like, gorrifics beauty salon, just, a place that everyone is aware of, and they can just start rps and say they are IN that place? :3
it's a way of creating unity in the guild if there's a common place that multiple roleplays can use, like beauty salons, or schools or night clubs!

Well, I dunno, it just seemed like something neat. creating a night club that's specific, instead of every time some people what to post s night club thread in some nameless place it could just be like, a stock location.
It just seems like something that would bring people together, instead of being disjointed rps that have absolutely nothing to do with eachother and may take place in different cuties all over the world at any time.

Essentially, I just want it to be a place that everyone can know about, and where people can feel free to start a thread where characters are RPing at that specific location.
It could also work to have like, maybe a concert or, 'battle of the bands' kind of hosted thread. Something like that. I just wanted to build up a mini environment where my Fearow could get to know some other characters and bring them together.

I'd say a subforum is out of the question; but I DO like the idea of environment creating, like add's and gorr salon and stuff, like, little, locations we can all use to get to know eachother

maybe, instead of a subforum then, maybe we can create like, a thread where people can submit well planned out and detailed locations for other people to RP in? We can put the hair salon, the bar, and maybe some other ideas people have into it.

I'm trying to understand what you mean. ;;; that was my original idea, though, I've realized that I was being a bit air headed about that. I essentially wanted a way to create a location in the gijinka world, though, it would be better to maybe just, let other members know that my Fearow runs a bar.
