NoDQ.com > WWE > HHH gets major executive promotion in WWE Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 09/06/2010 at 05:46 PM
According to PWInsider.com, WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut is undergoing a slight renovation as an office is being built for Paul "Triple H" Levesque, who was recently promoted to an executive role within the organization.
According to a company source, the multi-time wrestling champion now officially serves as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's creative advisor.
While Triple H has had Vince's ear for the past several years, it was always in an unofficial capacity. From this point forward, he will have a much more authoritative voice in regards to the company's creative direction and its many performers.
~
Good or bad? I have mixed feelings about this.

It's a good thing. He's got a good creative mind and despite appearances he's great about pushing people other than himself.
HBK retiring may have cause him to think about hanging back a bit from the ring.

triple H is the reason why sheamus is the current WWE champ and i think with trips going from actually being a wrestler during the monday night wars should know how to create good storylines hopefully and as hes shone hes not afraid to push people... look at cena, orton, sheamus and others

I have to agree that Paul going to creative is a very good move on WWE's behalf.

Pushing younger talent and giving them a shot at success, agreed HHH has been really good at that and knows when to take a step back and let the newer wrestlers step up and see if they can carry the ball.
Creative story telling? That is the area I'm skeptical on. I think HHH has the ability to lead the creative team and help develop some great stories, but whether if he can or not is still in question for me.
So that's my 2 cents, helping younger talent develop their persona's and giving the opportunities to show what they got? HHH is good at, story telling? The Jury is still out.

Medreddyd I have to agree that Paul going to creative is a very good move on WWE's behalf. Well he's been sitting in on the meetings for years, now he's just god a more authoritative role.

HBK wasnt the only one coming up with all those great ideas that made for good entertainment all those years...when HHH left DX and went solo he pretty much was the mind behind the persona he developed over time and we all see where that got him. I think he has all the right elements to move the creative team in a good direction which would be a nice change over some of the stupid bullshit i have seen them do in recent years

This was just enivitable. At least when he retires he can't be telling vince to give him the belt.

The Johnnyb This was just enivitable. At least when he retires he can't be telling vince to give him the belt. Other than the tag team belt which was given to DX because they were the best and most popular inside and outside of stadium tage teams, he hasn't had a big title on him in like a year and a half. Putting the belt on Sheamus was his idea in the first place.

It has been a long time..I think his last reign was against Orton that one PPv and that reign didn last for long
