It hadn't been very long since she had joined the pack and having found her father and joined the pack officially, she was starting to feel at a loose end. She loved the pack, it was interesting a good place to be and she had much to learn, but she was young and her paws were used to travelling so she found it hard to simply sit still for very long at all.

Deep orange eyes looked out over the lands from a small form of rocks which she sat upon. The bright moon cast a beautiful glow over everything and she couldn't help but feel admiration for the lands she had come to call home. Still, perhaps she should find something to do to alleviate the boredom.

Powdersnow was ready for the night, keeping his keen eyes open. He was a Finder, and took his duties to heart, though most of the time he had little to do. Things were peaceful, save some minor stirrings, and pups didn’t run off that often. He wasn’t bored, per se, but he wasn’t occupied. Padding over the lands, he looked around, just enjoying the calm of the early evening.

He spotted a wilddog sitting nearby on some rocks. He hadn’t met her yet, and that was a problem for him. He liked to know everyone. All the time. So he padded over to her, tail wagging behind him.

“Hello there,” he said, in a genial tone, not sitting yet because he didn’t want to be rude.

Sunwarrior turned her head quickly at the padding paws of the other wild dog and she smiled, a wide friendly smile, her tail wagging happily. "Greetings to you sir." She whispers, looking the male dog over. She didn't know him. Not that, that was particularly unusual. She hardly knew any one in the pack. perhaps this was an ideal time to make a new friend.

"Sorry, did you want to sit up here too? I'm just admiring the lands. They look beautiful all bathed in the moonlight." She sighs turning her gaze back to the landscape as a whole as she moves up a little to give the male dog a place to put his behind.

The blue and white wild dog smiled, wagging his tail as she spoke to him. She seemed nice enough! He liked nice folks, which was not uncommon around here so he certainly couldn’t complain. There were a couple of folks that were maybe a bit quiet, like Phantomsoul, but certainly not mean or unpleasant. He had patience to spare, though, and didn’t mind investing time and effort into becoming someone’s friend.

“Oh, no, no,” he said, shaking his head and sitting down nearby, “you look perfectly happy up there, and I’m not here to uproot you. Just thought I’d say hi. I never saw you before, I don’t think.” He tilted his head curiously, hoping she could tell him if he had or not.

But he had a good memory: he was pretty sure he hadn’t. His eyes moved over the lands, nodding in agreement. They certainly were beautiful.

The young female smiles a wide and happy grin at the male dog, her deep orange eyes smiling. "Oh no, we haven't met. My name is Sunwarrior, I only arrived recently I came in search of my father and found him here." She chuckles,s he had known her father was here. Still it had been nice to find him.

"I'v decided to stay." She sighs happily turning her soft sunny yellow nose to the male. "Please, feel free to join me, I haven't had much company except for my family." She pauses for a moment. "Were you born here? I'm still learning the lay of the land, maybe you could show me around?" She smiles a wrinkly nosed smile.

He grinned, nodding.

“I’m glad you found him! And I’m glad you chose to stay. This place is rather nice, don’t you think? The night is beautiful, but the pack itself is what I truly adore about my home. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Sunwarrior, and welcome to the pack, if it’s not too late to give you that welcome. I’m Powdersnow.”

He bounced up to sit next to her, always liking company. He nodded.

“I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t with this pack,” he said, looking at her. “I wouldn’t mind giving you a tour if you’d like one! I should know my way around by now. If not, I’m in for an embarrassing night, I think.” He laughed a bit at that. He had to hope not to get them lost anywhere, or he was really going to be in trouble.

The young female barked a pleased laugh at the pale blue male, her deep orange sun like eyes dancing in a pleased manner. "Powdersnow, yes I can see why." She laughs gently. "Oh yes, I love this pack, it's so, so wonderful, so many dogs in one place, living in harmony and I was ever so pleased just to find my father here and alive." She grins.

"You must be an expert at this whole all of the lands thing then. Please, lead the way." she grins wagging her tail happily and standing, stretching out her slender limbs. She wanted to learn the lay of the land and who better to show her than someone who knew the pack from the time of his birth.

An expert? He certainly hoped he didn’t end up looking like a fool. He didn’t know why he was worrying: he did know these lands like the back of his paw, but he wasn’t normally boastful so now he felt pressured to make sure he didn’t misstep even one inch.

Of course, he bowed his head and accepted the challenge, anyway.

“Alright. I suppose you know the main areas. Like Father Tree and the dens. Perhaps I should show you some of the hunting areas? And the woods nearby? We can go out near the borders if you’d like. There’s usually something fun to do out there.” He nodded, ready to spend the night just showing her around.

The chocolate brown female nodded an affirmative wagging her tail happily at the agreement. Had she convinced him to do this? She supposed in a way she had but he seemed happy to oblige, which she was glad of. "Oh yes, those all sound like wonderful places. I would love to see the woods first." she smiles a wolfish grin jumping off the rock in a fluid motion her tail held at a jaunty angle.

"Lead the way." She smiles, her ears tilted in a cheeky c**k eyed angle, a sort of comical, lets go look in her eyes.

Powdersnow nodded, indicating for her to follow him as she bounced from the rock. He bounded ahead a few steps, letting her follow after him as he gave her an auditory run down of the pride. He spoke of things he was sure she knew about already, about the their way and the now, about the tree and the lands. All basic things most new members learned during their first day.

But he liked talking about them.

He led her to the wooded area nearest to them, the trees tall and the undergrowth thick. He liked it, because it was a fun place to go off with friends for a night. He often had to pick through brambles to find pups, though, who had gotten a bit too overzealous in their efforts to have fun.

Sunwarrior liked to listen to his gentle tones, she liked being told about the pack. It was nice to hear it from anyone really it just re-planted the packs beliefs more firmly in her mind. She followed him diligently stopping occasionally to ask a question before they continued onwards.

The little forest was wonderful and she padded straight in to t feeling small plants sticking to her leg fur. "I like it here." She smiles wagging her tail. "I think this may be the most wonderful place in the whole pack." she grins looking up through the canopy trying to find the moon through the tangled mess of branches.

"I'd quite like to live here. Does anyone live here? Under the canopy?"

Powdersnow frowned thoughtfully.

“I’m not sure! I suppose there might be a couple dogs who prefer the canopy to the dens, but it’s hard to say. I don’t keep track of where everyone lives, though now I’m thinking I should. It would be helpful information. Why, do you want to live here? I mean, you just said you do. Ha, well.”

He tilted his head at her. He preferred the warmth of the dens, and the closeness to the other pack members, but he knew some liked to live a bit further out. There was nothing to say they couldn’t, really, though it was generally agreed that the pack should stay close to one another.

Was he babbling again?

The young brown dog smiles gently. "A little, but not enough to leave the comfort of the dens at sleeping time. I think, I should like to come here more often though." She smiles looking at the blue dog thoughtfully. "Would you mind awfully if we stopped here for a while? I do want to see more, but these trees. I don't know what it is about them."

She laughs bashfully, shaking her head a little. "I must sound like a fool." She smiles a gentle silly smile. "You can go if you like. You must have much more interesting things to do than watch me sniff around these trees for hours." she chuckles.

“No, no, I understand completely!” Powdersnow laughed, nodding his head eagerly, “believe me, I won’t be insulted if you want to stay here and explore. The trees are wonderful things, and hold a lot of secrets. I’m sure you really could spend hours with them, and that’s not a bad thing.”

He wagged his tail, looking up at the trees almost knowingly. He nodded, glancing back at her.

“Well, I hope the tour wasn’t too boring. It was very nice to meet you, Sunwarrior! Hopefully I’ll see you around again. And if you have any questions, feel free to find me! I’ll leave you to it, I think. If you get lost, I’ll just have to come find you any way.” He grinned, though he hoped she didn’t get lost.

He turned to pad, looking back at nod a goodbye. “Have fun!”

Sunwarrior laughs a laughing bark "I'll try not to get lost." She smiles and wags her tail at the male dog. She was very pleased to have met him, he was a good soul. "Thank you Powdersnow. You have been very helpful. Perhaps I will come and bother you some other time to continue the tour?" She smiles, turning her attention to the trees.

Padding away from the blue male sneer looks up in to the shimmering canopies and smiles. She liked this place very much and felt it may become her favourite place in the pack.

"have a good night Powdersnow, it has been a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She barks happily and dives off in to the trees, searching for something, she didn't know what really, just searching because she was young and curious and because she could.
