╚══════════════╝ ok so i read this story, about girls getting they're periods earlier and earlier here's the storyand i wondered if i should post it here i dont wanna avoid the subject we are girls after all stare i got mine when i was 10 but then the next month i turned 11 lol so when did u get urs?

Hmmm..
I got mine after my 12th birthday.
My mom even told me that I stated puberty earlier than she did.
EDIT: In the article, it's says most 11 years look 15.
I don't agree with it. Every sixth grade girl at my school looks like their 5, none of them are developed.
I'm an eighth grader and I'm really devolped. But I don't look 16, I look my age, so do all my friends.

Fifth grade. I was, like, 10 or 11, I think. It's funny though... I literally got it the day after we had the whole health video day that explained the period thing to us. We I saw the blood, I think I almost had a panic attack!! XD I was so freaked.
It normally lasts four-five days for me, then it stops, and then I might, or might, start again for another day. Anyone else have weird flow patterns?

not really mine last for like... 3-4 days,
i usually get it near the end of the month, maybe thats why i skipped February this year and had it twice in march xd
i dont think thats healthy redface

Every body is different, so there is no exact - just averages. The period is 28 day (on average) it can be a couple of days earlier or a couple of days later. The same is true for when your gift 1st arrives.
What I have noticed, views on what is appropriate to wear - and how to look - changes with age. I saw a photograph of my mom when she was younger - she is more conservative now, but did wear mini's (as I saw in the photographs). yet, now she will glare - disapprovingly - at girls (who were her age) who wear minis.
This is more than likely with the writers, and researchers, who produce these articles. (Not that there isn't increasing pressure on girls to be sexually oriented - to be objects.)

lets see... it was like about 2 weeks before i turned 14 i think? i remember i woke up with tummy pains at like 5:34am (i have no idea how i remember the exact time) but i thought i had to poo so i went to the bathroom, and there was blood. and i rmemeber i sat there crying for like 2 minutes scared and nervous thinking how im not a little girl anymore and im growing up and all that stuff. i used toilet paper instead of a pad or anything, and i went about my day not telling anyone.
