This game will take place as a series of events, the first of which will be the sign-up period. Sign ups will last from the moment this thread opens until 10pm EST on 9.6.2010 at which point I will compile a list of those participating so that we can move on to the next step. Some things to keep in mind: Do not enter if you cannot play nice with a small group of people. That's right. This will be an event in which you must work with your partners. While you may enter with just yourself and one other partner, it is preferable that you enter with yourself and two others.
You will be playing for one of the three adult birds. The chicks must be given away at the end of this event, so it might not be bad for you and your teammates to discuss possibilities for potential owners in the event that you win.
I reserve the right to add additional SoA to this event at any time. Sometimes I do random things like that. It seemed to work well enough last time. >.> Still interested? See sign-up information in the next post.

My, my... What have we here?
Players: ShinosBee-Hawk (F), NeonFly-Hawk (M), Katjive-Falcon (F)
What do -you- think happened? The girls want babies, desperately, 'cause women get like that sometimes. So they get this guy hawk to give them babies, only neither one of them knows about the other girl. So then when the red girl finds out, she gets pissed off and murders most of the blue girl's eggs. She shoves them out of the nest because she's miffed that she only had two babies, and the blue girl had four. The only one left is the one containing the blue chick. But then the male decides that he doesn't want any more of his babies killed, so he steals everyone that's left. He does this because secretly, he wants to be a momma bird. The end. xD

My, my... What have we here?
Players: Manda - Hawk Male (the player!)
Das Tor - Hawk Female (the party-pooper!)
NovaCracker - Falcon Female (the piece of tail!)
What do -you- think happened? So! These three have formed themselves into something of a traveling troupe! They sing, they dance they do aerobatics! You name it! There's just one problem. The boy is TOTALLY a player. He'll go after any female bird he sets his sights on that's remotely pretty. He's left a trail of baby birds all along their route. But the ONE thing he's forbidden to do is chase the falcon girl's tail. His sister, the red girl, yells at him all the time that they can't afford to keep up with children, they're on a schedule!! But then one day, he does chase her tail ... and not only that, she lets him catch her. So NOW the sister is really pissed and they've got these three kids to keep up with .... Hilarity ensues. 8D

Not much of a list to compile. XD Sadly, I wound up working a little later than I thought I'd be this evening so part two is going to have to wait until tomorrow. heart

Within the next 24 hours I need each person from each team to roll 1d20 in this thread. At the end of that time, or once everyone has rolled (whichever comes first) I will tally up the totals and we'll then go from there. XD

Team two will win the troublesome trio, along with the three chicks which must be given away.
The story that I'd come up with while coloring them was that the two hawks are a mated pair. The chicks with the red wings are their hatchlings... And the chick with the blue wings is the product of some sort of random encounter between the hawk male and the falcon female.... Which the hawk female would, of course, be finding out about.
You are more than welcome to use my story or you can go along with the idea that you came up with in your entry post. <3 Either way, the blue chick will grow onto the falcon lines and the other two chicks will grow onto the hawk lines.
Team one will not go away empty handed, though! For humoring me by signing up the three of you can decide amongst yourselves on any of the familiar lines, as long as you all agree on the same species. From there you'll each get your own for a new trio... No babies from the start, but that doesn't mean you can't RP and enter in breedings for them later down the line. <3
