Her mansion holds over 100 rooms. All of the rooms are magical and the whole mansion is like a labyrinth (just in case of invaders trying to kill her). There are many bedrooms, bathrooms and other rooms that lead to another realm, but those rooms are forbidden and so are her study rooms.

Lady Miyuki walked into her mansion with Umi and Hiro beside her. "Home sweet home!" She said happily.

Hiro walked into the mansion, still carrying Umi. "Woah! This place is huge! None of my old owners had houses this big!"

"Lady Miyuki, would you please show me where our rooms are?" Hiro was getting tired of holding Umi.

Lady Miyuki smiled. "I try to keep it homey! You both can choose any rooms you want! Well..." She said thinking about it. "I should tell you now. This whole mansion is protected with my magic. Some of the rooms have different portals to different realms and my study room. The mansion is like a labyrinth to uninvited strangers which can drive them into insanity. The 13th floor and the cellar is off limits. Other than that, you are free to explore anywhere else!" She said smiling. She kissed Hiro and Umi on the forehead that placed protection on them both.

"Great! I'm tired of the slop they give us at the slave market. Thank you, mistress." Hiro was eager to explore the house, and he needed to find a room for himself and Umi. He began walking down a hall, where he found a room with a window facing west, so that the sunrise would wake him up in the morning. He decided to put Umi on the bed until she woke up, so that she would be able to find her own room-unless she would rather share a room with him. He walked back to Lady Miyuki. "Mistress, would you write Umi a note so she doesn't get scared when she wakes up? I would, but I don't know how to read or write..."

"Well, that is something I will get to teach you!" She said smiling. She wrote a note for Umi.
Dear Umi,
I am Lady Miyuki, you're new mistress. Do not worry, no harm will come to you or your friend Hiro. Once you wake up, you're dinner will be hot and fresh!

She put the note beside Umi and smiled. "All done!"

"Of course! Besides, if there is a possibility where I can't protect the both of you or this house...You two would have to fend for yourselves. I want to teach you both magic." She said thinking of all of the enemies she have. She smiled. "But of course, there is nothing to worry about."

"Magic? Okay, thank you, Mistress Miyuki. Umi has the ability to control the elements, so she can protect herself fine, but I don't really have any special powers, I don't even have a weapon, so if something did happen, I wouldn't be able to do much." He scratched his head. "But like you said, there's nothing to worry about, right?" He wasn't convinced by the way she said there was no danger, but he didn't want to let her know that. "Anyway, I never imagined that I would have an owner who would teach me to read! Thank you so much, Mistress Miyuki! I don't know how to repay you!"

"Don't worry! Danger will only come to this house if something bad happens to me. That hasn't happened in years." She said smiling. "What kind of masters have you had?" She asked.

"All kinds. Not many of them good, unfortunately. A few of them whipped me if I didn't do what they said, and I still have the scars on my back. I'd rather not get into too much detail about those bad memories if that's okay with you, Mistress."
