The Bounts (バウント, Baunto) are a group of humans that live by consuming human, plus Shinigami and Quincy souls which potentially increases their abilities. Bounts are living beings just as Quincy are, but the difference being they have a special component that is encompassed by a human soul. Bounts absorb human souls, making them their own. It is these ability that have named Bounts at various times in human history as vampires. As the accidental creations of a Shinigami scientist they were once affiliated with Soul Society. Currently the Bounts in general are only a small tribe of beings from what they once were. Due to their circumstance they are neither affiliated with Soul Society nor the living world, they are pariahs, accepted in neither dimension.

Bount

Beginning Bount:
The Beginning Bount are the base Bount, those that do not have a doll yet. At this point, they can still eat souls, and even use the Mind Lull power if they wish. Other than that, though, they can only see spirits.

First Stage:
The obtaining of a doll for a Bount is highly dangerous, for if one does not have the will necessary to summon AND control it, the doll will kill the Bount. To get ready for the summoning, one must find an older Bount, who already has their Doll and is preferably a Chronicler, to guide you through the process. To actually obtain it, I require you to train for a total of 150 lines in small text [9/10 size] or 200 in normal text [11/12 size]. This training is difficult, and will deal with you using the words of the Germanic Incantations to summon forth the Doll, at which point it is a battle of Wills against one another to try and survive the forming of the Doll Link. This battle of wills takes the most of your posts for training. This CANNOT all be done in one post, but at LEAST 5 posts.

Second Stage:
At this stage, one must make a decision. There are two paths a Bount may take at this point, and it must be decided before they approach the Toushu for additional training. Approaching the Toushu, one will tell him which path you will take, and he/she will show you how to walk along this path.

Second Doll Form:
The second doll form is like the Shikai of the Dolls. To use it, one must speak the true, hidden name of the Doll. Its that simple. The second form can take any shape, though the powers of the second form are generally just stronger forms of the original. Generally. To actually obtain it, I require you to train for a total of 250 lines in small text [9/10 size] or 400 in normal text [11/12 size]. One must have had at least 2 REAL fights, not spars, not friendly duels. This done, the training requires a fight with the doll, or rather, a challenge. Similar to Bankai training, the challenge can be anything the Doll desires.

Two Dolls:
The obtaining of a second doll Can, for the most part, be a long and dangerous road, but it leads to some interesting possibilities. The Second Doll can be anything, and often has nothing at all to do with the first doll. There are downfalls to taking this path, though. The Second Form of the first choice offers far more powerful variations to your first doll, but the second doll you summon starts out like the first, limited. You have two dolls, now, that have powers that are weak compared to the first choice, but you DO have two. To actually obtain it, I require you to train for a total of 250 lines in small text [9/10 size] or 400 in normal text [11/12 size]. One must have had at least 2 REAL fights, not spars, not friendly duels. This done, the training requires you to once again summon a doll, but this one already dislikes you from the beginning. You must prove yourself worthy of it,through a challenge based on its own powers. This often ends in the death of the Bount, for they cannot use their first doll to help them.

Third Stage:
Only the Toushu may start with this stage.
Based on which choice you made, you will evolve in one of two ways, and steps are:

Doll Fusion:
Doll Fusion is the epitome of the Bount Single Doll Stage. The powers of the Bount Fusion is such that the first Bounts to learn it were called the Greek Gods, and later the Roman Gods. Their mastery of the powers they had in their previous forms are incredible, and often reach ground shaking levels. For all intent and purposes, the Doll Fusion is the Bount "Bankai". Upon proving yourself by having fought, and won, 4 REAL fights against either one opponent of greater rank or against at least two people of equal rank. Then, I require you to train for a total of 500 lines in small text [9/10 size] or 700 in normal text [11/12 size]. During the training, you must follow these steps:

I. You must work with your Doll to discover your secret Crest that all Bounts have. The challenge for finding the crest is designed by the doll so you can EARN it's Crest. This is a symbol that represents the very essence of your Doll, meaning there can be no two of the same kind. This part of the training takes up 1/2 of your line count.

II. One your Crest has been discovered, you must train some more. Yes, a lot of training. You must somehow learn to convert your body into pure reishi (which will be hard), and then press your doll's sealed state into your body with the crest. This will initiate the fusion. This takes up 1/4th of your line count.

III. The final steps are the hardest, and yet the shortest. Like the Quincy, the final transformation is a terrible, and quite agonizing, process. When finally attaining the form, the mind goes wild with power, entering a form of berserker rage in which the Bount attempts to kill and destroy everything in sight. At this final stage, at least two Enforcers are required to be nearby. This rage lasts for 1 hour (15 posts), and takes up the remaining 1/4th of your lines. After completion, you may now attain this Doll Fusion for up to 30 minutes (10 Posts).

Deuce Dei (Two Gods)
Deuce Dei, or rather, the "Twin Gods", is the "Bankai" form of the Bount who took the Two Doll path. By knowing the true, final names (crests) of the two dolls you have, the Bount generates the images in their mind, and fuses them together. This is how one activates the transformation, along with the words "Wecken und Zeigen" (Awaken and Reveal) followed by a combined name of the two dolls (can be anything, even without the same latters. Such as "Incantartum" for Dolls named Larry and Bob). When said, the two dolls taken on their second forms, but the dolls must work together. For example, if your dolls were a gun and a telescope. The gun could become a hell of a cannon, and the scope would become a partial-armor that gives you a neat-o eyepiece, like a visor or something, that gives you the ability to see reishi through solid objects, calculate distance, and provide protection to your upper chest and arms.

To get this power, I require that you have fought 4 REAL fights against either one opponent of greater rank or against at least two people of equal rank. Then, I require you to train for a total of 500 lines in small text [9/10 size] or 700 in normal text [11/12 size]. The training is the same as the second form of the 1 Doll choice, except that the dolls work together to decide upon the nature of the challenge.

Keep in mind that these two dolls do not have the raw destructive/overwhelming power of the Doll Fusion, and instead you only have the power of the second for for two dolls. Combined, it is deadly, but one doll going against a Doll Fusion would almost certainly end with your doll's death.

Seating/Ranking
SS-Rank
(Toushu)

The Toushu is the Leader of the Bounts, and bears the ability to send out his/her thoughts to all Bounts that are in the world or in the Town. You cannot hold conversations, but you can give an order. The word of the Toushu is law, and only a formal challenge for leadership can relieve the Toushu of his powers and authority. First Stage [Mastered], Second Stage [Mastered], Third Stage [Mastered].

S-Rank
(Judge)

Judges are the personal bodyguard of the Toushu. They are the also the hands of the Toushu, the Elite that do all he/she commands. They take orders from no one save the Toushu, and are exceedingly rare, for they are masters of all the Bount arts. First Stage [Mastered], Second Stage [Mastered], Third Stage [Mastered].

A-Rank
(Enforcers)

The number of Enforcers is dependent on the population of the Bounts. There is always a minimum of 2, and it cannot be the Toushu. The Enforcers can be known, or kept secret. It's the Enforcers themselves who make that decision. They police the Bounts, and make sure that they follow the rules. They are a step below the Toushu in power and Authority, and it is illegal to disobey their commands. Everyone must answer truthfully to the Enforcers, as a lie is considered disobeying. Each Enforcer has a tattoo on their bodies, a rose with barbed wire wrapped around it, which represents their office. Each also carries a token, a small metallic plaque with the same symbol, and it is like a Police Badge. First Stage [Mastered], Second Stage [Mastered], Third Stage [In Progress].

B-Rank
(Chroniclers)

They collect the knowledge of the history of the Bounts, and one Chronicler is always councilor to the Toushu. They keep records on everything, and protect the Library of the Bounts. They are often sent out to deal with the Gillian and Adjuchas class Menos. First Stage [Mastered], Second Stage [In Progress].

C-Rank
(Ascended)

The Ascened are the grunts of the Bount, often sent out to kill the lesser hollows while Enforcers and Chroniclers take one the stronger ones. They are like Pages to the Enforcers and Chroniclers, and are always watched over by a higher Bount until they reach the Chronicler rank. First Stage [In Progress].

D-Rank
(Awakened)

Awakened have yet to learn their place, or their studies. These ones are training to attain their dolls and to learn the laws of the Bount, and are the ones that do almost all the chores in the Bount Headquarters. Awakened are only allowed to train against dummies; NEVER against live foes). No Stages Acquired.

E-Rank
(Unawoken)

The Unawoken are Bounts that have yet to learn what they are, and know nothing about themselves. They give off a "sense" that Bount Chroniclers and Enforcers can sense, and it is how they pick up and train them to the Awakened stage of development.

Bount Abilities and Techniques
As far as I'm concerned, most techniques depend on their element/doll. : ) But here are some basic ones.

Soul Absorption: Bounts normally try to absorb the human's soul after the person dies and is trying to pass on. But they are also capable of taking the soul's of those who are living, to do so kills the human.

Immortality: By absorbing human souls, a Bount can live forever. When they absorb human souls, they gain eternal life.

Empowerment: by taking the soul's of living humans Bounts gain unique abilities.

Custom Technique developed by Haku Needles
Locate Soul: An inherit ability within Bount (after spending generations of consuming souls), the Bount are able to hone in on souls that have just recently departed or are in the process of becoming something else, i.e. Hollows.

Custom techniques developed by Sugar Daddy Donut.

Schub [Thrust]:
A basic Bount technique. The user expels a concentrated wave of reiatsu from their hand or, with practice and mastery, their body. Similar to Hadou #1 Sho, with the exception that, upon mastering, can be imbued with ONE element of their choosing to add damage, or refined to a point.

Schild [Sheild]:
A basic Bount technique. Formed by manipulating the surrounding reishi into a shield in front of, or behind, the user. Once learned the sheild is about the size of a buckler [about 45cm in diameter]. Can be used as a defensive technique and, with mastery or creative thinking, an offensive technique when attached to the arm. With further training the Schild grows in size, and upon mastery the Schild is the size of a Tower Shield [about a foot taller than your RPC]

Blitz [Lightning]:
The Bount variant of the Shinigami Shunpo [or Arrancar Sonido or Quincy Hirenkyaku, take your pick], this speed technique was developed by Rico Tiburcio as a way for the Bount to keep up with the faster races. Used by gathering and concentrating spirit particles in the users legs, the user greatly enhances their ability to move for a single or several step. That single step is punctuated by a brief screeching sound [like nails on a chalkboard] and allows the user to travel at Shunpo or faster-than-Shunpo speeds. This places a great strain on the users legs, and without extensive training can result in broken or, in some cases, useless legs.

Klinge [Blade]:
An advanced Bount Technique. The user manipulates the surrounding reishi into a blade-like protrusion from their hand/foot/leg/arm The length of the "blade" is dependent upon the amount of reiatsu the user puts into the attack. Ergo, the longer the blade, the more reishi used.
Must be at least B rank to learn.

Gluhend Zeiger [Blazing Hand]:
An advanced offensive Bount Technique, only available to A rank and higher. Blazing Fist allows the user to extend their reach by manipulating the surrounding reishi and compacting it into a basketball-sized spherical object. While this doesn't look like much, it is very similar to the Ball & Chain: it can be launched directly at the target, swung around and used as a whip/Ball and Chain, or as a grappling hook. It can be imbued with ONE element of the users choice, and once imbued, that element cannot be changed.

Große Schild [Great Shield]:
A more advanced defensive technique for Bounts, one that makes the normal Schild useless once learned. Upon attaining the A rank and mastering Schild, one can choose to begin learn this technique. Just like Schild, one must manipulate reishi to form this shield, but that's where the similarities end. Große Schild is much stronger than even a mastered Schild, and the user is able to form up to three Große Schild's once mastered. Naturally, this technique is much more taxing to use, but the defensive capabilities are almost peerless.

Serenade Kuss [Serenade Kiss]:
An advanced Bunto healing technique, only useable on a comrade. By manipulating your own reiatsu and refining it to a very, very fine point, you insert a needle of reiatsu into the wound of the afflicted. Upon insertion the reiatsu will spread into the wound and slowly, but surely, heal it. This works great for internal damage, burns, deep gouges, cuts, gashes, and some poisons. However, if there is a missing limb, don't expect this to give it back.
Your healing potential is dependent on your rank[AKA power level], so here's a breakdown.
D: Surface damage, weak burns.
C: Gouges, deep cuts, mild burns, stops internal bleeding.
B: Internal organs, Heavy Burns, Deep Gouges, Minor organ regrowth [like if you're missing an eye or half a lung]
A: Fatal wounds, organ regrowth, limb reattachment, all of the aforementioned injuries.

All Bounts Can Use:

Locate Soul:
An inherit ability within Bount (after spending generations of consuming souls), the Bount are able to hone in on souls that have just recently departed or are in the process of becoming something else, i.e. Hollows.

Haunting Melody (Requires C - Rank)
An interesting and rather new power, this technique requires one to sing, usually through a hum, though any kind of song could work. Any who hear it find themselves lulled into a sense of lethargy. Their minds dull to the point that they are not aware of the presence of the Bount. This will last as long as the target hears the sound of the Bount singing. Other Bounts are immune to this power. You can only walk while using this ability, and are unable to attack anyone at all while using this power.

Mind Shroud (Requires B - Rank)
Thanks to the strangeness of the Bount Mind, and due to having more than one mind present within them (doll), Bounts with this technique have learned how to be highly resistant to anything that effects their minds in a bad way. Any attack that is based through mind influencing of any sort (attack being defined as being used on them against their will) will find it much harder to effect a Bount with this ability.

Moonlight Sonata (Requires A - Rank)
Like the Haunting Melody ability, this power is much stronger, and still requires you to sing. However, this is much harder to resist, those below B-Rank finding it very difficult to resist. Bounts are effected by this power as well. You still cannot attack anyone while using this power, but you can run if you wish, or even drive, while singing this tune.

Fearful Presence (Requires B - Rank)
Enforcers, or past Enforcers, only. Your very presence instills fear in those of lower rank than yourself, though the level of fear is dependent on just how much lower in rank they are. You can activate this power at any time, should you wish.
1 Rank ---> Uneasiness
1.5 Ranks --> Paranoia (Feel like you can't turn your back on this person)
2 Ranks --> Fearful (will not attack the person, nor stand their presence for long)
3 or More Ranks --> Terror (will run in terror from this person.

Reishi Absorbtion (Any Rank)
This power is able to be used the day you are born. You can take reishi, take it apart, and absorb it into your body in order to heal your wounds.

Quincy Bane (Required B - Rank)
Designed by Valentine after the Quincy almost wiped out the Bounts, it was named so for it's ability to REALLY piss off Quincy, heal the Bount's wounds, and nullify attacks. A bount can, if they wish, stop moving and concentrate heavily. If they do so, the next Quincy Arrow that strikes them will be absorbed by the Bount, healing their wounds and negating attacks. The amount of damage healed is dependent upon the power of the shot (rank).
A - Fully healed
B - Major burns and such, major cuts, all broken bones
C - Cuts, lesser wounds, some broken bones
D - Minor wounds, such as a split lip or so

Lightning Burst (Requires C - Rank)
This is an interesting attack, for by holding your hand out, you channel the spirit energy around you and compress it, sending it out of your fingers as a bolt of lightning.

Riatsu Shield
Pretty much allows valentine to hide almost ALL of his riatsu levels from being sensed. If anything, he seems like a normal human, or if he wills it, a B or lower rank.
