The forest here was so different from the jungle she was used to back home. How did foxes hunt or live in such forests? As she flew over the forest, Bai wondered if she would be able to meet any foxes here to answer her questions. She was not questioning why lived where they did. Just how. The black and white 'Phim was away from her home land because she wanted to experience life in different climates and understand the rest of the world. She believed it was important to know how the rest of the world lived and functioned. White and black wings guided gracefully through the air as Bai decided where to make her landing. Unless there were any other 'Phims around, she would not be meeting other foxes in the sky, so landing was probably a good idea if she wanted answers. Bai swooped down, easily missing tree branches, and landed lightly on the forest floor. She sniffed the air around her to see if there was another around.

Jake sighed as he stood on the edge of a small lake. He had been flying for some time now and needed to rest his wings. He looked down into the water and saw the sadness in his reflection looking back at him. Living here in the forest he had come to learn he was the only Phim in the area. At first he didn't want to believe he was the only one... after all if he was a Phin that had to have meant that his parents were Phims too... where ever they were. He had gotten in a habit of flying off every once and a wile to explore the forests and areas near by to see if there were any other Phims out there... so far he had no luck.
He sighed once again as he leaned down to drink form the cold water. Just as he leaned in to drink he caught a reflection in the water. It was small but he could just make out a figure flying through the sky. He quickly looked up and caught the sight of something just as it flew out of sight, blocked by the trees. He couldn't believe it. For a moment... it looked like Phim. Could it have been? There was only one way to find out. He had find them.

It seemed as if someone had been here recently but Bai couldn't make out exactly which direction the fox had gone. She sniffed around more trying to find a trail to lead her to the fox but instead found a trail to lead her to a feather. A feather that smelled like a fox instead of a bird. It definitely belonged to a 'Phim, there was no doubt about that. The only other 'Phim's Bai had ever seen were those of her family in her tribe. They existed out here as well?
Being even more eager now to find the one who lived here in the forest, Bai took off into the treetops from which she had landed not to long ago. She searched for the 'Phims scent on the wind and on the leaves of trees. Having something to go off of now, tracking the other 'Phim was much easier. It wasn't long before she found who she was looking for. Although she wished their initial meeting hadn't been so painful.
Bai had been flying very close to the tree tops and decided to make a last minute dive towards the scent she was following... And in doing so, she collided with the multi-colored body of a male 'Phim.

Excited and willing to meet the other animal that flew by, he made his way away from the lake and started toward the trees. Now that he though about figure flying through the sky he was pretty sure it was a Phim. Just by the way the figured was shaped and the long tail... there was no doubt about it. It had to be. He smiled as he made to the edge of the trees when something came swopping out.
Jake had less then a second to react. Of course that wasn't much time at all and he ended up colliding with whatever had come out of the trees. They went tumbling on the ground for a second. The only thing he was able to catch until they stopped was a black and white figure. "Owwww..." He groaned as they stopped tumbling. Whatever he had collided with was on top of him. He looked up and saw that the black and white figure he had crashed into was none other then a Phim. He looked at her in surprise and began to panic. "Oh no! Are... Are you alright?!" He didn't want to move for fear of the Phim being hurt from their little tumble.

It took Bai several moments to process what had just happened. Apparently the one she had been searching for wasn't as far away as she had initially thought. When she finally realized she had crashed into another 'phim and had landed on top of him, she opened her wings and fluttered into the air. She gazed at him for a moment, he looked so paniced. Well, he had every right to be, she did just divebomb him. The female 'Phim easily lowered herself to the ground next to the stranger and sat down. Nothing appeared to be hurt on her, but she was the fortunate one, landing on top.
"Oh, I'm fine." Bai said with a light laugh and smile. Flying into him had been nothing compared to falling out of Hometree that one time... "Are you alright?" She asked with true concern. "I'm sorry I flew into you like that. You were closer than I had expected." Bai looked the male 'phim over for any signs of broken bones or cuts. Hopefully she hadn't hurt him and if she did, hopefully it wasn't to serious.

Jake sat there for a moment blushing as he looked at her. It had gone silent and for a few seconds that seem to last allot longer they just lay there looking at etch other. Finally he blinked when she fluttered into the air and hovered there for a moment. He was still shocked at the fact that he was nocked silly by a 'Phim... another 'Phim and a female at that. He was sure he would never meet another one like him.
"Oh..." He looked over at her. "Thats good. I... I'm glad your ok..." He then blushed and quickly sat up. He shook his fur out and straightened his wings. He was trying desperately to not act like a total fool in front of her. "I'm fine..." he cleared his throat. "No harm done... It wasn't that bad." He looked up at her and could see the black and white pattern of her fur. Not to mention her eyes that were a silver. "Oh its... its ok. I'm fine... I was kinda looking for you so I think I may be the one to blame for it."

How strange. As Bai observed the other 'phim she noticed that despite the fact he said he was okay, he seemed very... frazzled. It was almost as if he were afraid or intemidated by her. Had she hit him that hard? Was he really okay? She had never met a 'Phim before that had gotten so flustered upon meeting her. Maybe he just needed time to recover from the tumble. Yeah, that must be it.
"You are not to blame for it." Bai said with another smile. "I should not have taken that dive at the last second." She looked him over again before standing up and moving closer. "Are you sure you're alright? You seem... flustered." Bai gave him a concerned look. Upon closer inspection, she could see there was a slight blush coloring to his face and she wondered if he might have a fever. Oh she hoped not. That would be terrible because she wouldn't know what to do.

"Well I really don't think its your fault ether. Some times things like this just happen." He shrugged. "It was just one of those times." He watched her stand and walk over. "Oh yes... I'm fine." He smiled then blushed again. Did he really seem flustered? Well of course he did... this was the first 'Phim he had met in a long time. "Sorry about that... I... Well this is the first time I've met another 'Phim... I'm kinda excited..." His tail wagged.

Once again, it took a few moments for Bai to actually comprehend what was going one. Having been raised by her parents and having two brothers and a sister who were all phims, it was hard for Bai to understand this males situation. This was the first time he'd ever met another 'Phim? Bai tried to remember the stories her mother told her about being all alone and having never seen another 'Phim until her father showed up.
"You've never met another 'Phim before?" She wasn't exactly asking him since that was obvious since he had just stated it. But she still couldn't quite get it. "Wow." Bai said blinking as it finally truly sunk in. "You must get really lonely. Who taught you how to fly? And dive? And hunt? And do tricks?" Surely it wasn't possible for him to be out here all alone not having another flying friend to keep him company. But if that were the case, as it seemed to be, Bai decided that she would keep him company and be his friend until it was time to travel back to her tribe.

Jake shook his head at her question of meeting another 'Phim. It was true. He had been on his own mostly from day one. He had no idea where his mother had gone. "Sadly no... well i mean... I had my mother but..." he trailed off as a sad expression crossed his face and his ears dropped to the side. "She left one day and didn't come back... I don't think she ever will..."
This 'phim seemed really surprised that he had never met another one like him. That was understandable. He didn't blame her at all. He was just never able to to actually get up the courage to leave his home. "Yeah... it does get pretty lonely but I mean... I've never really actually left here..." He looked up at her. "I taught myself mostly... watching the birds kinda gave me the idea of flying. I'm Jake by the way. Whats your name?"

Bai sat and listened to her new friend talk. Having been raised wither both her parents, her sister, and two brothers, Bai couldn't imagine how lonely it must have been for Jake growing up alone. The female 'phim debated on taking Jake home with her so that she could share her family with him. She knew for a fact her mother would take him in as soon as they arrived. But her clan was far away from their current location and since Jake had never left, Bai wasn't sure he could make the flight. Jake might not even want to be a part of her family anyway.
"Oh!" she said as Jake asked her name. "My apologies! I often forget introductions." She said as she laughed at the second sentence. "I'm Bai. It's nice to meet you Jake." Bai offered him a warm smile before giving him a concerned look. "I'm sorry about your mother. But I'm here now and I can keep you company if you'd like." Although she had already made up her mind that she would be his friend whether he wanted her around or not. As she waited for his reply she quickly made a mental list of all the tricks she could teach him and fun stuff they could possibly do together.

He smiled when she seemed excited to hear about what he was was talking about. He could see that she was listening just by the she looked at him. She seemed fixed on every word he was saying and it made him feel happy. Most of the time he didn't really have anyone to talk too and now that someone new showed up he was rather excited to talk. He did chuckled though when she stated that she often forgot about introductions.
"Oh that's ok... I don't mind." His tail began to wag. "Nice to meet you too.. and its ok... I don't think my mom left me on purpose." He looked down at the ground. He was trying to not seem too sad though as soon as she said she could keep him company his ears shot straight up. "What? You... you would stay?" He looked around as if it could all be a dream.
((Oh my gosh nati! Im so sorry! I totally forgot about this RP!))
