Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Mirassou's parents lavished nearly everything on him...until they decided to take a world cruise using all of the money they had set aside for him. They left when he was just 12 years old and have disappeared from his life altogether. Even though he has lived alone since then, Mirassou has had no trouble finding his place. Over the years he has learned to cook and clean and as such is very self-sufficient. A year after his parents left, a local cabaret-style restaurant owner took him in, but he insisted that he live by himself in his house. He did not have to worry about paying the bills or anything, because he was a child, the restaurant owner took care of him, and his home was considered abandoned.
Even though his parents abandoned him at a young age, Mirassou has no ill will towards them. He began to work for the restaurant owner when he was fourteen. Working as a waiter, he was well-liked by the customers for his personable, friendly nature. He enjoys working there because he likes the finer things in life. (Despite his name, he is not a whiney person *laughlaugh*.) In addition to being a waiter, he was also given the opportunity to become an entertainer at the restaurant (see below; "An Important Event") and is a very talented singer.
While Mirassou is very refined, he is also a skilled fighter due to the fact that he had to defend himself from attackers who would attempt to rob his home at night.
Mirassou is a kind person who is easy to talk to. He's very friendly and can offer good advice for most things...yeah, most things. Because he grew up wealthy, he is also a bit of a carefree simpleton. He hasn't really had any true friends since he basically grew up alone, but he's definitely learned over the years how to be a good friend.~~~

~Appearance and Influences~ General appearance: Description: (until I can get a picture up)
-About 5'6"-5'7" in height
-Light brown/sandy hair that comes down to his neck
-Light blue eyes
-Wears a traditional fancy-restaurant-waiter's uniform: white-collared shirt, black vest, pants, and shoes, white socks (underneath pants), white apron (sometimes), and a periwinkle bow-tieTektek: This tektek doesn't do him justice...his hair isn't correct, his bow tie isn't periwinkle, and he's missing his apron...>.>Influences:Mirassou is loosely based off of these 2 characters:  The first is a sprite of the waiter character in the Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum games. Although seldom seen, this character does in fact exist and can be battled in the Battle Tower and Frontier, respectively.
The second (at the right) is Cilan (Japanese name: Dent), a new main character in the Pokemon Best Wishes series. He is a waiter as well and more information about him can be found here, here, and here.
I've always liked the idea of waiters at a fancy restaurant, all dressed up and looking spiffeh~. But I also liked the idea of a restaurant that had live entertainment (music, etc.) especially like those in the 1920s (called cabaret clubs/cabana clubs/etc.) Mirassou is supposed to be the type of waiter that can easily be imagined getting up on the bar and singing and dancing. XD
Also, if anyone caught the little "he's not a whiney person" reference above, kudos to you! If you didn't, well, here's an explanation. Mirassou is actually the name of a wine. So is Cabernet. Hence, Mirassou, Cabernet, Mirassou Cabernet, his name is made completely of names of wines! I thought it was cool and it added to the whole restaurant thing. And it's a funny story of how he got his name too...
I'm going to be very particular about this one because he's a character that wasn't originally meant to be part of the RP. He was going to have his own story that I was going to write at a later date and maybe post on deviantART, but I didn't think I'd have enough time to write it and so he's been added into the RP. Unfortunately, my art skills are very poor, so until I can draw him decently, I'm going to have to try and make his appearances as vivid as possible for you.
Mirassou is an entirely original character of mine despite having influences from Pokemon as well as other places. As I remember/add them, I will post them in this section. And no, he wasn't supposed to be in a Pokemon story, in case anyone was wondering.~~~

~An Important Event~ One day while Mirassou was working, there was an announcement that a celebrity guest was coming to perform at the restaurant. The celebrity was world-renowned, incredibly famous, and barely came to little places like their restaurant. The employees couldn't believe that someone of that caliber was going to grace their presence in a few mere days. The anticipation took over. Decorations flew up, reservations were made, and specialty food and menus were prepared. Everyone was whole-heartedly putting their best efforts into preparing for the arrival of the celebrity. In the meantime, hotels in the area filled up like mad and the crowds came in in droves. This was truly going to be an event to remember.
Alas, this happiness did not last. Right before, literally the last minute before the event was supposed to take place, the celebrity had to cancel due to a family emergency. This left the restaurant in disarray and countless people upset and disappointed. No one could figure out how to solve the situation.
But then Mirassou had an idea.
He offered himself up as a substitute for the celebrity.
People were confused and even thought it a bit funny. How could this young boy, a mere waiter, possibly hope to replace the irreplaceable celebrity that had been scheduled to peform? Some laughed at his offering, some jeered, while others ignored him completely. But still he stood on the stage, not going to give up that easily.
"Please," he said. "I know I cannot possibly be a replacement for our scheduled guest. But if you'll just give me a chance, maybe I can show you something different. And who knows? Maybe you'll like it."
After listening to the boy's kind words, the crowd seemed to give in. They all turned towards the stage, looking at him in an expectant manner. They all wanted to see what he could do, what he was going to do, and if he could even do it.
The band began to play in the background. Taking a deep breath, Mirassou began to sing. His voice drifted over the crowd, calming the atmosphere. The combination of the music and his singing was filled with such beauty that even passersby stopped to listen. Some who hadn't even heard of the event (if such a thing was possible) stopped in to the restaurant to see this strange young waiter perform. They were mesmerized.
By the time the performance was over, no one was aware that any time had passed. The crowd was speechless. A lone employee was the only one able to move, and even then it was only to announce that dinner was ready for everyone. The crowd awoke after the announcement, but the only subject of conversation was the waiter with the beautiful voice.
A few weeks passed. The people left the hotels, the decorations came down, and the usual atmosphere came back to the restaurant. The only thing that changed was Mirassou's job. In addition to being a waiter, every once in a while, he would go up onstage and perform for the crowd, becoming a well-known entertainer at the little cabaret restaurant.~~~

~Revealed Through RP~ The restaurant that Mirassou works at is called The Cabaret Café. His house is a mess on the outside but on the inside it's like a normal house with elegant flair. It was his childhood home but now has fallen into disrepair due to the fact that his parents abandoned him. Mirassou's first stage performance (the one described in "An Important Event", above) was singing the song "It Had To Be You". One of his favorite songs is "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey.More to come!! ^^
