UserName: Raziel Sarafin
RPG Name: Dr. Gregory Araeberous
Age: 26
Species: Human?
Status: None
Abilities: He is hellishly fast as a result of his quest, and he has an indomitable will: nothing can control him without his permission. His weapons include a vast array of medical chemicals, scalpels, syringes, and bone saws, though he doesn't carry all of these. He also has his unbreakable obsidian knife named Avernus.
Personality/Background: He was born without a name, a child soldier in a country he does not remember. Since he was able to walk, he was ordered to kill, and this has left a very large mark on his personality. On the hunt one day, he was seperated from his squad by an explosion, which threw him into a deep jungle. He survived miraculously, and awakened at the foot of an enormous basalt altar. The garantuan monument loomed before him, and piercing it was a perfectly carved obsidian dagger. It was without any sort of mark, as though it had been pulled from the earth in exactly the form he saw before him. Overwhelmed by curiousity and desire, he reached out, claiming the dagger for himself. As his fingers touched the hilt, a hidden edge sliced his palm, his blood pouring down the blade and into the altar. It flowed in strange lines, and he found himself unable to move as the dagger held him fast, draining the life from him. As it siphoned off the rest of his blood, he fought unconciousness and strange images, gazing down at the lines. And then he heard the voice of the dagger and the altar, whispering to him. He lapsed out of conciousness, but reawakened miles away aboard a ship, the dagger still in his hand. The memories remained, but a new persona settled over him, his true self: calm, rational, and fiercely intelligent. The dagger and altar had given him a quest, one which he was determined to complete: soak his hands with lifeblood of humans, vampires, and werewolves, one thousand each., and then sacrifice it to the altar and the dagger.
He went to medical school for many years, studying the way of healing, and he slowly learned to bend them to his own devices. He then used that power to his advantage, becoming a world reknowned doctor that would take any patient, no matter how dangerous, or how hopeless. Any blood that touched his hands, even if gloved, would be absorbed into his body. In this way, he murdered one thousand humans, and sacrificed the blood to the dagger first; he slashed his own throat, and the blood of one thousand humans poured out onto the black blade. Every drop vanished, and the dagger gave him his speed. His body judders and shakes horribly when he uses it, but he is so fast that it is nearly impossible to track his movement with the naked eye. His mind and soul are also protected by the altar, which await his next sacrifice eagerly, preventing him from being controlled by magical forces.
Appearence: He is about five feet and seven inches tall, with dark brown hair and eyes; he also has olive skin. He dresses casually, but he looks fantastic in a lab coat, though he'll never admit it.
